Quantic Dream has a new teaser site up and ominous Tweets about a possible new IP being announced on January 28th 2015 Quantic Dream has a nice little list of titles under their belt and it looks like there may be one more getting added into the mix. Most recently they have made huge splashes on the PS3 with Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Both great titles in my opinion even though most other outlets and gamers would greatly disagree. They've also made another title that was well received on the PS2, Xbox, and PC called Indigo Prophecy if you are still here trying to find a reason to care about this new little tease from Quantic Dream. Many thought that this was going to be the next full Saints Row title to get added to the mix but later we found out that it was a standalone title that was to follow Saints Row IV. It's been announced that there is a new Friday The 13th title in the works from Crystal Lake Entertainment and an un-named developer Good news for us horror fans, maybe, as there is a new Friday The 13th video game in the works. This is to go hand in hand with the new TV show and film but hopefully will not be solely a tie-in for the franchise. Details are still sparse on it all since the news dropper "exclusively" on EGM Now but that does not mean we don't have at least the basics as we wait for the anything visual for this new Friday The 13th game. It's been over 25 years now since Jason graced our video games so it is high time and Crystal Lake Entertainment thinks they need to get piece of the gaming pie again. Read More...

We have some official screenshots and details for that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain chicken hat that was all the rage Back around Christmas the hopefuls for a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date were trolled and shown a new hat that can be used in the game. The chicken hat for those who don't want to go back and read. Some though this was still a joke that Hideo Kojima was running on everyone but it looks like Konami and Kojima Productions have confirmed the hat more so by giving us all some nice new screenshots and a better description of how the hat will be used once we actually get the game. Hopefully this year some time but that is still a great mystery to be solved for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and that may take a lot longer than solving P. Read More...

A test market survey for Far Cry from Ubisoft was sent out and it alludes to other options that we may see for the franchise moving forward Marketing surveys can be fun and in the case of the most recent one for Far Cry from Ubisoft it looks like the fun doesn't stop. In fact it flows and has now added all kinds of speculation to the future of the franchise that they are still doing extremely well with. At least last I checked Far Cry 4 was still one of their top selling titles from last year but the video game industry can be a fickle bitch. Enough of that and let's see what we can maybe look forward to in Far Cry's future. Read More...

PC Modders have made it so you can play as Hideo Kojima in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes' core gameplay as well as the side missions available I knew it would only be a matter of time before Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on the PC received it first fun mod for the game. In this instance it looks like you can now play all of Ground Zeroes as the mastermind behind the whole thing: Hideo Kojima. If you don't know who that is then why are you even reading this text? He happens to be the creator of the franchise as well as notorious troll for fans of all of his games. Read More...

Over the Christmas holiday it was announced that there will be a chicken hat addition to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to make the game easier for those having trouble If you are a huge fan of Metal Gear Solid and looking forward to Metal Gear Solid V then you were probably one of those people who sat around with Hideo Kojima on Christmas day while he opened presents, talked films, and then trolled everyone looking for a release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. To be fair, you all should have been having a good time with your families instead of watching someone who's culture doesn't celebrate the holiday do what he does best. That would be giving you just a little bit of something new so you don't loathe him but not really give you a thing you really want. Read More...

Looks like Godzilla is going to have a showing at the Game Awards as well as a possible North American release for the PS3 title Laugh all you want but it looks like Godzilla will be making and official showing in Las Vegas, NV. I'm of course talking about the game and not the king of the monsters or any of his adversaries. Even in the most recent film for Godzilla the beast never actually stepped foot in the city but it looks like he has changed his mind about destroying Sin City. I think that is enough joshing around. A new musical trailer for Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell has debuted and it shows off the musical side of the devil We have another new and damn fun trailer for Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell. As the title here suggests we get a nice and fun look at how the game may take place as a musical. Hells, knowing the franchise this may actually be a long scene from the game proper and we just don't fully know yet. Deep Silver and Volition do know how to make a damn entertaining time though and this most recent trailer for Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell does it again; even if you are not the musical type. I just hope this isn't some Buffy music demon messing with things kind of experience in game though. Read More...
