Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And with that, we end another week in video games and it has been yet another one that has been all over the place. We had more updates on Resident Evil 7 and Final Fantasy XV as well as a plethora of new information for Watch Dogs 2 and Dishonored 2. And those were only the triple A video games that we had to cover here as we saw both Project Wight and Maize get some announcements into the mix. Tomb Raider We sit down and review Rise Of The Tomb Raider. It has finally made it over to the PS4 with all its DLC. Here's our review of Rise Of The Tomb Raider It's been a year and a bunch of DLC packs since Rise Of The Tomb Raider launched on the Xbox One and then the PC. Now we have the game here on the PS4 with all of its DLC and upgrades that have been applied over that year in the form of Crystal Dynamics' definitive edition as it were. It may not have that title but with everything packaged here it surely feels that way. Maize The release date for Maize has been set and we also have a look at another character joining us in Maize with Vladdy With all of the serious titles coming out here in the next few months it is nice to see something like Maize finally get its time in the sun as it is poised to release on December 1st now. It's been a while since Finish Line Games first showed off anything for the game and now we are set to see it hit the light of day. Originally it was stated as Harvest of 2016 but since the harvest has come and gone it looks like Maize is settling in for a solid Winter release instead. Read More...

Little Nightmares A new interactive experience for Little Nightmares has been released online so we can have a small taste of Little Nightmares while we wait Not that long ago we had a nice little teaser for a new game called Little Nightmares. It was nice, short, and gave us a small taste of what Tarsier Studios is aiming to bring us Next year on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It was a nice taste but really only showed Little Nightmares as a platforming title that looks to use a lot of Tim Burton's visuals; at least at first glance. We aren't the only ones who see it this way but that may have been the thought so Bandai Namco has put together a nice little interactive experience for Little Nightmares to give us a better showing. Little Nightmares New gameplay details for Little Nightmares have popped up as well as a little bit on what is going on in Little Nightmares' story If you were paying close attention back at Gamescom you would have heard about Little Nightmares getting a nice little tease and announcement. This would be a new 3D platforming title from Tarsier Studios that looks like something inspired by the dreams of Tim Burton. Of course there is a lot more going on with Little Nightmares than just that but for the first trailer that Bandai Namco brought us for the game that is all we had to see. Tomb Raider Another episode of Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild has been released and shows us how the new Rise Of The Tomb Raider DLC could play out It's been some time since we last saw Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild video series out there. I don't think we've seen a new one since Crystal Dynamics released the game on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Now that Square Enix is bringing Rise Of The Tomb Raider to the PS4 and the DLC to all of the platforms, including PC, here on October 11th I guess it is about time to give us yet another episode of their "behind the scenes" style video. Tomb Raider The new DLC for Rise Of The Tomb Raider was shown off at Gamescom and now those not in attendance get to see how this new Tomb Raider content plays out We've heard and seen some of the new Rise Of The Tomb Raider DLC that will be coming on October 11th but those fans that made the trek out to Gamescom had a chance to see a bit more. Crystal Dynamics had quite a bit to show off for all the platforms that Square Enix will be bringing the DLC and game to finally and now we have a chance to have a look at it too. Metal Gear Solid V If you missed out on any part of Metal Gear Solid V, then you can rest assured you'll have another chance as Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience is coming Since the great exodus and the wonders of Metal Gear Solid V it looks like Konami is scrambling to keep the IP flowing and popular. Yes they announced another title in the franchise that is a zombie survival game but seeing as almost everyone has wanted to forget the trailer for that they need something else. Hot Lava A new title from Klei, Hot Lava, has been announced and it aims to bring us the most epic game of Hot Lava from our childhood… hopefully If you thought you had some of the most epic games of Hot Lava when you were a kid then you might have to re-think a few things. As it turns out, it looks like Klei Entertainment (Don's Starve, Shank) is out to top them all with their version of the classic childhood game. They have just announced their new title is Hot Lava and it looks to place us all in the living room where the lava in the title isn't just in our imaginations but it is also something that can truly harm us. Tomb Raider A trailer for the next Rise Of The Tomb Raider DLC has been revealed as well as many other additions coming to this Tomb Raider title to fuel the nightmares As we get closer to the release date for Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4 we also need to remember that we are getting closer to the release of all that extra DLC for the game on the Xbox One and PC too. Of course Crystal Dynamics is only bringing the VR support to the PS4 version of one of the bits of DLC but until now we've only scene glimpses of it all. Sadly, it looks like Square Enix is having its time in the night with zombies as one of the bits of DLC we are getting will be bringing them to Tomb Raider for us to kill in a horde-like mode in the basement of Croft Manor. Tomb Raider The official announcement of Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4 has been made and it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is getting new content and PSVR support The rumors that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was coming to the PS4 look to have been validated as Square Enix has given the official word on a new 20 Year Celebration edition of the game coming not only to the PS4 but also the Xbox One and PC. All on October 11th just as the rumors stated. The only thing that the rumors didn't state about Rise Of The Tomb Raider was the fact that Crystal Dynamics is also bringing us a new Endurance mode, a new story chapter, and VR support for the PS4 version of the game. Already Crystal Dynamics' latest addition into the title has hit the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC and it was stated as a timed exclusive before by Square Enix. All of that said and the fact that we are in the 20th anniversary of the Tomb Raider it looks like it should be time to see the game make the final leap and if rumors are true the leap will be made on October 11th of this year. PAC-MAN Hit mobile game, PAC-MAN 256, is taking aim for consoles and PC next month and bringing multiplayer to PAC-MAN 256 exclusively for those platforms Legends never die and it looks even more the case now that PAC-MAN 256 is making the leap from mobile devices over to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam here on June 21st. For those not in the know this would be the version of the franchise that Hipster Whale and 3 Sprockets have put together for us all that has won quite a few awards.
