A brief history of Neverending Nightmares and what it took to bring us an amazing demo and release window. An artist can always use his bleakest moment to shine, they can take the pain, the agony, distraught even the misery they accumulate then create their unique masterpiece with blood, sweat and tears. Wolfenstein: The New Order Is Giving You Nowhere To Run To…Baby
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Bethesda has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order showcasing some new gameplay and story. Just in case you thought we were running light on the gameplay for Wolfenstein: The New Order we have a new trailer showing just that. Ok, well maybe more of the scripted in-game footage for the game but at least it is a bit more on the overall story that Machine Games and Bethesda are trying to tell. Not to mention some of those really fun "alternate history" blurbs mixed in that have seemed to become a staple in the Wolfenstein: The New Order marketing. If you look closer too I think that we can even catch a few of the other named characters of Wolfenstein: The New Order getting the business end of B. Read More...

The Villains Of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Might Include Carnage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2014 - 07:01 PM ]
There is a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 showcasing some of the other villains Spider-Man will have to bring down. When it comes to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 visually what has been shown hasn't been as impressive as with The Amazing Spider-Man. This could be as we have been spoiled over the last few months with next gen graphics and all we seem to be getting are trailers for the last gen systems. If this is the case then we might have to rely just on the fun factor of the game as well as the story. What makes an interesting story for Spider-Man is usually the villains and their overall goals. It looks like Wolfenstein: The New Order is stepping up into the crazy "collector's edition" arena with the recently announced Panzerhund Edition. A New Amazing Spider-Man 2 Gameplay & Dev Diary Video Swings Onto The Web
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
There is a new Amazing Spider-Man 2 dev diary that digs into some of the new mechanics for the game. Should we be excited for this film video game? It really feels like the film version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is getting so many more trailers than needed while the video game version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has had so few. Only two before today for the game if memory and sleuthing serves me correctly. I'm pretty sure it does so I'll just move on with everything. Read More...

Looks Like We Will Be Able To Facebook Stalk With The Oculus Rift Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2014 - 09:01 PM ]
Facebook is set to purchase Oculus for around two billion dollars. What does this exactly mean though? It was announced yesterday that Facebook has reached an agreement to purchase Oculus VR, the makers of the Oculus Rift headset, for about two billion dollars. Not all in cash mind you. Only $400 million of that will be in "cash" the rest of the $1.6 billion in Facebook stock. That is all upfront as well as $300 million more is offered if Oculus VR can hit certain milestones that are still yet to be defined at the writing of this article. Read More...

Insomniac Games Sure Knows How To Celebrate 20 Years In Business
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2014 - 05:01 PM ]
Insomniac Games is celebrating their 20th anniversary in a grunge style tribute music video. With all of the closures and layoffs that have been all over the news in the last few months it is reassuring to hear that Insomniac Games has made it 20 years running now. Yea, it's crazy to think that we got Disruptor and Spyro just about twenty years ago. Hells, it is crazy to think that 1994 is just about twenty years ago. Don't we all feel a bit old now? New Wolfenstien: The New Order Trailer Puts Us On The Train To Berlin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Wolfenstien: The New Order has been released showcasing the train scene we've seen a few times. Also there is a bit behind the person who wrote the scene. Using the word new in the headline here seems a bit odd as we have seen this bit from Wolfenstien: The New Order a few times already. I am talking about the train scene with Frau Engel and here 'lover' Bubi. You know; the one where they conduct the 'test' on BJ in some form of a twisted game that we all know Nazis loved doing. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Some new Mirror’s Edge 2 rumors have surfaced online. They are unverified but lets take a look at them. So many "leaks" lately and this time we have some new leaked info for Mirror’s Edge 2. Yea, Mirror’s Edge 2. A game that many gamers, myself included, have been waiting for while EA and DICE had been coy about until last year's E3 when it was announced and they were still coy about everything. Well is would seem that someone over at Rocket Chainsaw claims to have some new insider information that they can confirm. EA and DICE obviously, like every other publisher/developer out there, do not comment on rumors and speculation. Read More...

Dan is currently known as the creator of DayZ which has become a gaming phenomenon in the last couple of years.
