I don't understand the point of live action trailers for video games but I guess if Microsoft and Insomniac want to waste the money you've given them over the years, then I guess we need to let them. Another new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows shows us some of the ways we can die while playing the game Still no official release date for Styx: Master Of Shadows on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but we do have a nice montage of a few ways that Styx will and can die in the game. A new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Kaos Doom Challenge and plays like a tower defense Just in case giving us the ability to use and play as the villains in Skylanders Trap Team wasn't enough, it looks like we are getting yet another mode to play the game in. No longer do we have just a fun little platformer game but now we are looking at a "tower defense" of sorts making its way into the game in the form of the Kaos Doom Challenge. There is something about that word and Kaos that I can't just seem to put my finger on…* Anyways, this new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team looks to pit players and all of their Skylanders in a 100 wave of "doom" where enemies will be flooding the arena to take you down. The Forza Rewards Program is coming the same time that Forza Horizon 2 launches Forza Horizon 2 is a few weeks away from release and is racing out on September 30th on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Playground Games and Microsoft has announced a new loyalty program starting with Forza Horizon 2. The Forza Rewards Program rewards players monthly based on how much they play any Forza game in the series since Forza 2. Players will be gifted cars and in game money based on their advancement and playtime. The first batch of cars available when the game launches are listed below along with their tier level required if you are on tier 6 you will be gifted all the cars when the game launches on September 30th. A new Science Fiction MMO, Transverse, has been announced from Piranha Games, the makers of MechWarrior Online Just in time for the other Sci-Fi MMO to be released (Destiny) we have a new announcement from Piranha Games in the form of Transverse. Ubisoft has just announced a new collection of titles for the Assassin's Creed franchise titled the Birth Of A New World - The American Saga launch before the newer titles Just in case you didn't think you were going to get enough Assassin's Creed this year with Unity and Rogue launching in November it looks like there is another set of titles coming just weeks before the one-two punch of those titles. All on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC at that. A new live action trailer for Destiny has been released showing off how the game should feel when playing with friends I made the comment earlier that people have been losing their excitement for Destiny as the game's launch date looms even closer. I also claimed that something needed to be done to get the excitement back even after the Planet View site cropped up. A new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows shows off the assassin gameplay as well as hints to a release date Up until now Styx: Master Of Shadows has been shown off as a stealth and Thief-like title but now it looks like there is a bit of Assassin's Creed brought into the mix with the latest gameplay trailer. This is a little bit of a shock to me as up until now it has been shown that Styx cannot handle multiple enemies and needs to stick to tricks and sneak attacks. I'll take it none the less as this looks to add yet another manner of gameplay to Styx: Master Of Shadows for all those out there who don't have the patience to take things slow and stealthy. All of the basics of Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer are explained in the most recent trailer released from Sledgehammer and Activision Last month Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer was shown off to the public during the Gamescom event. Everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about what was shown even though it was only the tip of the iceberg, so to say. A new trailer for Let It Die has been released in the preempt to the Tokyo Game Show and it has a bit of gameplay mixed in If there was one trailer that confused the heel out of me at E3 this year it was Let It Die from Grasshopper Manufacture. The Kickstarter campaign for Eminence: Xander's Tales is up and running with the game being much more than just Triple Triad It's been a couple months since we first spoke on Eminence: Xander's Tales. This is that Triple Triad mobile title coming from Aeterna Studios and by mobile I'm talking iOS with Android down the line. Well it looks like the Kickstarter page for this is now up and running with the hopes of moving Eminence: Xander's Tales to PC and consoles. The achievement list and a demo for Forza Horizon 2 has been announced from Microsoft and Playground Games Microsoft has announced that a demo is incoming for the upcoming racing game Forza Horizon 2. The demo will be available on September 16th on the Xbox One.  Microsoft has also released the full list achievements that you will be racing for come September 30th. Forza Horizon 2 is developed by Playground Games and is a spinoff of the core Forza franchise. I really enjoyed the first Horizon and found myself playing way more than the core games in the series.
