Time To Join The Trans-Galactic Tournament A F2P MOBA On PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of April 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
We now have our first look at Trans-Galactic Tournament, a free to play MOBA coming for the PS4 from Kiz Studios I can hear the groans already coming for Trans-Galactic Tournament as we have the words Free-To-Play and MOBA being thrown around for this new PS4 game. If you can try to look past all of that for a moment you may be able to see the game that Kiz Studios is working that should really be labeled "What if the Star Wars cantina starred in an 80’s cartoon, which suddenly broke out into a football match, which suddenly broke out into WrestleMania?" I only really see a little of any of that in the following gameplay trailer for Trans-Galactic Tournament but maybe I am already jaded by the original label that comes with the stigma for free. To be honest Trans-Galactic Tournament sounds to be a lot like your standard MOBA style games. Read More...

Everyone Will Now Achieve Ascendance In Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The second DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be hitting PS3, PS4, and PC at the end of April If all of you non-Xbox Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare players out there were feeling a little left out with the second DLC pack that is part of your Season Pass, now is the time to know you won't have to wait much longer for the pack to hit the PS3, PS4, and PC versions of the game. You will know now but still will have to wait until April 30th as that is when the pack will be available for you to download and enjoy in all of the new features, maps, and Exo Zombie fun that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One players have had for a month already. I guess it is nice that the multiplayer servers don't go cross platform as that would be one hell of an advantage that they would have from day one. Read More...

A Few More Reasons To Look Forward To Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Over on their blog, Bethesda has given us all a few more reasons to look forward to Machine Games' Wolfenstein: The Old Blood prequel DLC If Wolfenstein: The New Order wasn't enough to get you excited for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood then it looks like Bethesda and Machine Games have a bit more to make that May 5th release date seem so very far away now. Yes it is a bit of the usual screenshot fare but also, as they mentioned on their blog, there are even more things outside of that. Now the launch for it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC seem even further away than before with just that one sentence. Read More...

Guitar Hero Live Is Official & Rebooting The Franchise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Following yesterday's tease, Activision and FreeStyleGames have announced Guitar Hero Live to be the next reboot to the popular franchise Hot off the tease from yesterday we now officially have Guitar Hero Live and it is looking to reboot the franchise with some new features and a new peripheral for the game. We'll dig into all of that in a moment but here we have it; Guitar Hero Live is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Android, and iOS platforms sometime later this year. My money would be on late October or early November to compete with Rock Band 4 as well as get all of those holiday sales a little bit early. Read More...

New Teases & Rumors Aim At A New Guitar Hero From Activision
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new teaser video for an announcement tomorrow strongly implies we are going to be seeing another Guitar Hero game soon Last month there was a whole lot of speculation flying around that Rock Band and Guitar Hero may be getting a revitalization. Then all of that was followed up by Harmonix actually announcing Rock Band 4 is on the way and it was looking like it would have no competition on the market. That is of course if the latest teaser video placed out by Activision does end up being an announcement for a new Guitar Hero. That's right. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/6/15 — 4/10/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of April 2015 - 11:01 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes another wild ride in the world of video games. Again things seemed to be very targeted as we had A LOT of Mortal Kombat X news again, the full announcement of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and a big old tease for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. All kinds of crazy madness but really only a few games that we were able to fully cover as the dominated this week in video games. Hopefully next week we can be a bit more diverse as we should only have reviews for Mortal Kombat X and that should eliminate half of the week's domination moving forward. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Is Set To Be Shown To The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of April 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is looking more likely as the next addition to the franchise and we'll know for sure real soon If you were hoping that all of the teases lately from Activision have been for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 then you are going to most likely be a happy camper. A new trailer has been released and it all but names the next Call Of Duty title as Black Ops 3. There have been a load of viral videos and a SnapChat thing going on but now we get a nice tease to lead us up to the April 26th world reveal of most likely Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. Although I'd find it hilarious if Treyarch and Activision announced something completely different on the given date if it doesn't get "leaked" early by some paid media types. Read More...

Are We Getting Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Teases Now?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
With a recent Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 update it looks like a viral campaign for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 could be on the way A bit of new viral marketing out now may be pointing that Activision and Treyarch may be working on Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 for this year's release. This one has quite a bit of back story and digging around to get the ball rolling but there is definitely something brewing here. In fact this all started with the most recent update for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 where a YouTube streamer happened upon a few updated materials in the game that had a SnapChat QR code pasted over the original image. Using said QR code takes you to the befriending page for the Call Of Duty SnapChat account which is where some people thought it would end. Read More...

Square Enix Wants To Prove We Can't Kill Progress
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new interactive and viral video stream reveal from Square Enix has arisen and all we know is you Can't Kill Progress If you have been keeping tabs on the weird stuff on the internet over the last few days then you may have heard or seen the Can't Kill Progress video stream taking place as I type and you read. This is all part of some huge game reveal from Square Enix and one of their Western developers and kind of shows how depraved humans truly are. As of right now the titles we can speculate on here are Can't Kill Progress and Project CKP and the video shows a man being broken down and "tortured" in a small cell. Read More...

OnLive Is Shutting Its Doors But Sony Is Getting Some Goods
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Game streaming service OnLive is shutting down at the end of the month but Sony has purchased some of their tech for some reason Some of you may have heard of OnLive or maybe even used the video game streaming service over the last few years since its launch. For those not in the know OnLive was a cool litter service that allowed users to purchase and play PC games without the need for a high-end system to run the graphics at the best settings. I was lucky enough to have used some of their hardware in the past and while the controller to keyboard syncs were not always the best, the service was nice and it did what you were paying for. Sadly it wasn't as big of a hit as the company had wanted and will be shutting the service down on April 30th. Read More...

It's The Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines In Sunset Overdrive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The latest bit of DLC for Sunset Overdrive has been released and it is titled Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines as you could expect With a game like Sunset Overdrive everything can be treated like an April Fool's joke as that is just kind of how the game is. It is the flare that Insomniac Games was going for and they achieved it. Thankfully we have some new DLC for Sunset Overdrive that is anything but an April Fool's day joke even though the title will make you question the validity of that claim. The title being Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines. Read More...

Review — Game Of Thrones: The Sword In The Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones: The Sword In The Darkness. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on HBO's famed TV franchise. Here's our review on how they've done so far Fresh off the last episode of Telltale's Game Of Thrones we have the third episode The Sword In The Darkness. There was a rather quick turnaround on this episode which is good but did the episode suffer at all from the speed or does it help keep us all engaged as the TV version of the franchise is coming back soon? Well we sat down and played through the latest episode of Game Of Thrones so you can gauge if this needs to bump to the top of the play list or you can leave it be for a little longer. Without more gilding the lily let us get into our review for Game Of Thrones: The Sword In The Darkness. Read More...

Review — White Night
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review White Night. Is it the next best thing in horror? Does it use the black and white aesthetic correctly? Here's Our Video Review The release of White Night has come and passed and it felt like OSome Studios' title kind of flew under the radar for most. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse and in turn a full look at the game on the PS4 so we could put it through its paces. The original concept and videos show painted White Night in a very specific picture to me but did it fully hold up to what I expected? Well that is what the following video review is for.
