Rip One In Time For South Park: The Fractured But Whole
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
South Park A new behind the scenes video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole was revealed at SDCC during the big South Park anniversary panel and it has just that extra spice This was the year of the 20th season of South Park and as part of the big celebration of it all we had another great look at South Park: The Fractured But Whole out at SDCC. Not only did Ubisoft have a nice museum set up for The Coon and Friends again but this time they had a nice look at the dynamic duo working on the game in the background. That would be the creators of the franchise and the developers working together if you somehow didn't understand that. Read More...

Hitman's World Of Assassination Expands For The Summer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Hitman Two new mini-episodes for Hitman have been added into the mix to expand the world of Hitman just a bit more for the summer It was certainly looking like we were going to be getting a new episode of Hitman each month since its launch as we have since. Sadly, it looks like Io Interactive has fallen a bit behind on that schedule or that was just the assumption we all had since we saw a new one by the end of each month until now. Whatever the case may be, it looks like we are getting a few new bits of gameplay as well as some new missions in Hitman for this Summer. There is no word out of Square Enix if this will be what we get for the summer and nothing else but it looks like there is a bit more of the game to be played on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC as of right now. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman A solid release date for Batman: The Telltale Series has been revealed and it looks like the first week of August is when Batman will be taking flight again Last week we were teased with when Batman: The Telltale Series would be coming to us in digital format but we were told that we would get to see a new trailer just in time for SDCC. As they are people of their words over at Telltale Games we now have a released date for the digital version of the game, August 2nd, and a trailer for the first episode of the game. Just the perfect time to bring us all Batman and now we know that we won't have to wait until we get home from the huge convention to give it a play. Read More...

Hitman Fans Have Spoken & It Is Time To Hunt Down Gary Busey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman The next big elusive target for Hitman has been selected and it looks like Hitman fans will be hunting down Gary Busey for some reason It looks like the Hitman fans have spoken and they have voted for their next elusive target to go live this week. This one won't be some made up character or villain from Io Interactive but instead it looks like it will be some Hollywood big-hitter in the cross-hairs of Agent 47's gun. The next big target for Hitman is…Gary Busey and we get to put an end to all of his antics. You know, because nothing says fun like a huge group of gamers getting around and debating who they should have to kill in a game with all of the other death that is going on in the world. Batman: The Telltale Series Has A Release Window Digitally & Date Physically
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of July 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Batman The release window for Batman: The Telltale Series digital has been revealed as well as when Batman will be getting a physical version from Warner Bros. As I assumed we would be seeing more of Batman: The Telltale Series as we got closer to SDCC and here we go. It isn't a trailer as Telltale Games has stated that they will be showing us that next week during the big event and when they do their play through of the first episode live. But for now it looks like we only have news that Batman is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices digitally sometime in August. I'm going to guess during the first week of August given their normal schedule. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Shows Off The Expendable Crew
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new gameplay session for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has been released and it shows off just how well a Call Of Duty can hold up when taken care of Hopefully by now we all know that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is being remastered for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and will be bundled up with Infinite Warfare when it lands on November 4th. This would be one of the titles in the franchise that Infinity Ward brought us and made a whole ton of money for Activision. I'm sure you all remember it back in the heyday of Call Of Duty and are most likely glad to see it is coming and getting a full face lift. Read More...

It Is Time To Go And Explore No Man's Sky
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky A new video series for No Man's Sky has kicked off and now we are getting a look at the four main aspects of No Man's Sky's gameplay Last we heard that No Man's Sky has gone gold and that August 9th is completely locked in and now it looks like we are getting video break downs of the core aspects of the game. According to the Hello Games these are Explore, Trade, Fight, and Survive. That does seem to be a lot more than I remember them stating before but this is a good thing as it gives me personally more to look at for No Man's Sky as well as to get behind all of the hype the game has produced for so long. Ana Joins The Good Fight In Overwatch Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Overwatch Another new character has been announced for Overwatch and this one comes in the way of a 'dead' member of Overwatch coming back to fight the good fight As if the roster of Overwatch wasn't large enough already it looks like we are getting yet another character added into the mix. I guess it is a good sign that Blizzard is bringing another new character as it definitely shows that they are fully backing the title and not just releasing and forgetting. Not that I thought they would do that to Overwatch in the first place but it is always a good sign to see them continuing the work. Now we have Ana to join into mix and it looks like she has a hard story to bring into the game when the update hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

It's Time To Answer The Call With The New Ghostbusters Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Ghostbusters A new trailer for the new Ghostbusters video games has been released and we get to see just how the Ghostbusters will answer the call The new Ghostbusters comes out this week and looks like it is doing well in the reviews so far but just in case you want a bit to tide you over until Friday the new game based around the new story's event is here. That's right, Activision and Sony have brought their latest addition into the video game portion of the franchise to us and it is linked a bit and out now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this version of Ghostbusters isn't just a cheap tie-in for the film even though that has always been the concern since it was first announced. Read More...

A New Live Action Horror Title, The Bunker, Coming This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Bunker A new horror game, The Bunker, is coming out this September and The Bunker features Live Action play instead of traditional character models It has been very far between when a video game uses live actors instead of polygons for gameplay but here we go with The Bunker. This is a new horror title coming out of Splendy Games for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. It had a very small announcement back in April of this year but it looks like Wales Interactive wants to bring The Bunker to us all this September. No specific date has been announced as of yet but this is a step up from there being nothing when wind first started to pick up for it. Read More...

No Man's Sky Has Finally Gone Gold So Stop With Your Hate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky It has just been confirmed that No Man's Sky has finally hit gold status and No Man's Sky will be hitting it new release date It seems like only a month ago that we were hearing about death threats over No Man's Sky being delayed until August 9th. Thankfully the pillow forts that were built over at Hello Games to shield them all worked as it looks like they have no wrapped up development and the game is ready to start going into the process to come out to us. Now the only delays we may see for No Man's Sky will be if the marketing team feels like they need more time to sell more copies. As if the rabid and, to me still unfounded, love wouldn't already be enough already. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Is Having Its Narrative Detailed At SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty It looks like Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is making the rounds at SDCC and we'll get a look at the new Call Of Duty narrative coming for the game We've had a bit of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare news and footage come out of E3 but it looks like that was only another small section as the game is making a showing at San Diego Comic Con in two weeks. While Infinity Ward may have focused more on the action and combat before it looks like this time it is a focus on the narrative that we are going to get here. Yes, Call Of Duty games have a story for those who are not all about the multiplayer only. Read More...

Paranautical Activity We sit down and review Paranautical Activity. Here's another procedurally generated FPS for us all to look at. Here's our review of Paranautical Activity In the mix of all the huge titles and events going on it looks like Paranautical Activity has slipped on out for cross buy on the PS4 and PS Vita. It has been released on the PC and Xbox One by Code Avarice in the past but here we go with yet another release platform for this procedurally generated FPS title. We were able to sit down and dig into the game a bit and now we are ready to give out thoughts. Read More...

Here's A Red Dead Redemption Update But Not Exactly What We Hoped For
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption The latest game to hit the Xbox One backwards compatibility program is Red Dead Redemption and it doesn't matter which version of Red Dead Redemption you own to have access Leading up to E3 and well before that we had a lot of "leaks" and news about something related to Red Dead Redemption coming soon. A lot of us thought that this was all to lead up to Rockstar Games announcing a sequel to the original title but as that time has come and gone it looks like we'll have to wait longer. What we won't have to wait for is the original Red Dead Redemption to hit the Xbox One as Take-Two Interactive is allowing it to head to the system via the backwards compatibility program that has been set up. It's Time To Take South Park: The Fractured But Whole Seriously
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park In the wake of E3 we are still getting South Park: The Fractured But Whole details and this time it is just how the guys from South Park are taking the comedy a bit serious It sounds extremely weird and funny to hear that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is trying to take comedy seriously given the jokes about just that in the past. Of course we have to look past all of that as all of this comes from a recent interview about the game from some of the team out of Ubisoft. That and the fact that in terms of this South Park game this whole new revelation is in terms of the genre and not the specific jokes as the comedy genre in video games is on the light side.
