Control Will Be Using Some New Tech For Better Immersion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Control A new video for Control is here and it shows us how the game will leverage some new tech from NVidia to make the world of Control feel ‘realer’ We are still waiting for some new gameplay details for Control and what we have here is not much in the way of that. What we do have here today is a small look at how Remedy will be using some new technology to help further the realism of the game's world and in turn increase the immersion of it all. At least that is the hope and it does look like they are on their way to do that with Control given the new ray-tracing and illumination effects we have to look at here. At least on the PC side of it all as there is no word on how this will translate over to the PS4 and Xbox One side of things, if at all. Read More...

This would be the headquarters of the main organization we will be in charge of in the game as well as the location for the game. We have heard and seen a bit of it from Remedy in the past, but this time we get to know it a bit better and also see more than we have seen in the public before. Not much more, but it is a slight bit more of Control to look at as we learn more about the location that is part of a lot of other Sci-Fi buildings and constructs from the past. Read More...

More Of The “New Weird” Will Be Introduced In Control’s Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Control The first developer diary for Control is here to explain how the team went about constructing the world and story of Control So far, what has been shown for Control has been impressive and it looks like we could be getting ready for another great hit from Remedy. It does seem to tick off a lot of what we all have come to expect from the developer and now that their title will be coming to the PS4 on top of the Xbox One and PC, it looks like it could all be more promising for the team to do well. All that needs to happen now is to make sure that the world and story of Control work just as well as the mechanics and we are all golden for a nice new franchise to pine over. Not the loftiest of demands, but it is all something that we are all waiting for to find out the full details. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — Control
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Control While at E3, I was able to see Control in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Control. Another of the interesting titles that we saw get the reveal out at this year's E3 was Control from Remedy. It came at us all with a weird and unusual trailer, as was to be expected, and made a huge splash during the Sony conference where 505 Games opted to show it all off to the world. Maybe to hit home that their game was going to be on all platforms here or just the right place to unleash Control to the world. Either way, it was announced and slated to hit us in 2019 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Devil May Cry 5 Has Been Announced And Is Not Far Off For Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Devil May Cry During E3 Devil May Cry 5 was announced and we all had a good look at just how this will be the true sequel in the Devil May Cry franchise Even with all of the early announcements and "leaks" out there for E3 this year there was still space for some great secret announcements to still come and that is how it was for Devil May Cry 5. Yes, it received a full announcement out of seemingly nowhere during the Microsoft media event and Capcom was able to keep it all under wraps until then. I am as surprised as I am excited to see that we will be getting another official Devil May Cry title in the franchise. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Underworld Ascendant A new gameplay trailer for Underworld Ascendant is here just before its E3 showing and with it comes the release window for Underworld Ascendant Let us all make sure to hold nothing back for E3 this year as we have another trailer out there and this one is for Underworld Ascendant. Okay, maybe not the biggest or most hidden of game announcements out there but OtherSide Entertainment has been working hard on the game for a while now and we should take note of it in the mix of all of the other big PC games getting the fancier shows out there. Especially now that it is known that Underworld Ascendant will be dropping for everyone in September now and will be bringing it with it all of the Action-RPG elements some gamers have been craving for a bit. Get Ready To Stand With Your Brothers In Far Cry 5’s Hours Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 The first major DLC for Far Cry 5 has been given a date and we will soon be taking the fight to Vietnam in Far Cry 5 Get ready for a new fight in Far Cry 5 here soon as the release date for the first expansion in the Season Pass has been dated. Hours Of Darkness will be the first bit of DLC that Ubisoft will have for us on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on June 5th at least for those who have already picked up the Season Pass or are looking to drop a few extra bucks on the game. As if there was not already enough to do in Far Cry 5, we will have a whole lot more and be leaving the lands of Montana for the jungles of Vietnam. I guess that also means there will be a time shift as well as it is at the height of the conflict that we all associate with the lands there. Read More...

Chernobylite Aims To Take Us Down A Darker Path For The Chernobyl Catastrophe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Chernobylite A new horror title, Chernobylite, has been given the announcement treatment and it looks like Chernobylite will re-explore some conspiracies of Chernobyl A new survival horror title is coming to take us back to the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe and it is called Chernobylite. Seems like a weird name to give it given everything, but this is what The Farm 51 are going with and I am sure it will make more sense over time. The game has just been announced so there is not much to know for the game to help explain the Chernobylite thing. It kind of sounds like a weird beer thing by name alone. Read More...
