ScreamRide Is Coming & We'll Be Able To Scare Riders Sooner
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
ScreamRide has a new launcher trailer and a bit of information on the Demo that is available today for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 ScreamRide had to be one of the more bizarre titles I saw at E3 during the Microsoft Conference. This would be the title from Frontier Developments where we will get to make some insane roller coaster or amusement rides all in the vein of generating screams. More or less a torture simulator when you split hairs only that the NPCs involved in the game don't seem to get injured and love being placed in life-threatening situations. Most people wouldn't find ScreamRide fun, I would think, if there were truly being injured. Read More...

New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Screenshots Have Risen From The Snow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A fresh batch of screenshots for Rise Of The Tomb Raider have been released and ready to be ripped apart by all of us waiting for the next title in the franchise Last week we had a nice look at the new environment design for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Crystal Dynamics will be taking us on a lovely romp through Russia in the next game so we know it is going to be filled with all kinds of snow and dangerous locations for Lara to get into trouble. Sadly then that was really all we had to go with outside of a few little clips from videos past. That is no more as now we have some fresh Rise Of The Tomb Raider screenshots to look at that includes all of those harsh, cold environments as well as what looks like a nice warm desert scene. Jade Has Been Un-Revealed For Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of February 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
In the recent Mortal Kombat X Kombat Kast it was confirmed that Jade will not be in the game outside of Kitana's moves That may sound a little confusing but yes, Jade will not be in Mortal Kombat X. At least that is in the form of the traditional sense we may be hoping for. She is in Mortal Kombat X in the way of a fighting variation for Kitana as revealed during the most recent Kombat Kast by the team over at NetherRealm Studios. On top of that we also were given a good look at the variations for the two characters that we have yet to have details for. That would be Kitana of course and Reptile. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Bethesda announced today that they will be holding their own press conference at E3 2015 but with no details about what will be shown It looks like Bethesda wants in on all of the E3 fun of hosting their own press conference as the publisher just announced on their blog that they would be doing just that. No longer will they be held to just a booth and a kick-ass off site party/get-together at E3. They will be taking a stage and showing off what they have in the works for the coming years and most likely announcing a few things we all may have been wanting for a while. Read More...

Review: Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on HBO's famed TV franchise. Here's our review on how they've done so far The release of Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords has come and now we have Telltale's second episode for the six part story that links into the TV Show from HBO. The first episode was a bit on the slow side and stayed safe with all of the standards that have been set up via Telltale's normal storytelling structure but did this episode follow suit? Or did The Lost Lords break free of the iron bonds and give us something really new to experience with Game Of Thrones? Read More...

Mortal Kombat X Is Looking To Evolve The Online Play For The Franchise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
New information for Mortal Kombat X's online play and meta-game have been revealed and looks like it will keep us all more kaptivated longer Back when Kung Lao was confirmed for Mortal Kombat X we caught a little bit of wind on the new online modes and factions for the game. There wasn't much to go on as it was more or less a footnote in the overall information release and all we knew was that there were five factions and you had to choose one at the start of Mortal Kombat X. The fact that all of your actions in single player and online play had an effect somehow wraps up all that we were given then. That was then and this is now and do we have a lot more to talk about these modes for Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Game Of Thrones Episode Two Has Its Launch Trailer Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Game Of Thrones — Episode Two: The Lost Lords has its launch trailer released now just in time for the episode to hit our systems It feels like Telltale is a little off the ball when it has come to the next episode for Game Of Thrones. At least when you compare it to all of the other titles that they have released usually we have this kind of trailer the Thursday before a huge launch. Maybe they didn't want it to get lost in the myriad of Super Bowl ads over the weekend or maybe I am just skewed in my memory. It just seems odd for them to have their launch trailer hitting just like every other developer's launch trailers do. Read More...

Ermac Is Here To Corrupt Mortal Kombat X Now…In A Good Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Ermac is the next character to be announced for Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Kast #2 today and we have some gameplay Keeping to their promise NetherRealm has given us our next character reveal for Mortal Kombat X this week and it is Ermac. I was thinking Noob Saibot given some of the hints thrown out there on the internet but it looks like I was a bit off. None the less though now we have Ermac to look at for Mortal Kombat X and not just an announcement but a look at his variations and gameplay for one. All of this of course lifted from the Mortal Kombat Kast where the developers showed all of this off to the world for equal footing. Read More...

Visceral Games Had A Lot To Take On For Battlefield Hardline
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of January 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
The first developer diary for Battlefield Hardline has been released at it shows all of the care that Visceral Games took to make it the best yet I have been impressed with what I have seen for Battlefield Hardline up until now. It really looks like a next gen title as well as a welcomed, at least by me, deviation from the standard warfare title that Battlefield has almost always been. Of course we have Visceral Games to thank for that as they are the ones finally helming a full version of a Battlefield title with Battlefield Hardline and not some DLC add-on. The better question though is what have they done to get the game to where it is right now. Read More...
