Screenshots For TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan Have Surfaced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Mutants In Manhattan Another leak for the unannounced TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan has occurred and this time we have screenshots to see for Mutants In Manhattan to show the game in some way Another major leak for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan but still no official announcement for the game. This time it looks like we have some actual screenshots from the game even though Platinum Games and Activision has yet to give the official word on Mutants In Manhattan. Still very odd but this could all be part of their plan to promote the game well before it gets any kind of official announcement. We'll just keep TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan as one of the worst kept secrets for now as we have a look at the new screenshots and wait for the word on the game truly being in the works. Read More...

More Leaks For TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan Still No Announcement
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Mutants In Manhattan More information leaked for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan in the way of Xbox One Achievements but still no official word on Mutants In Manhattan even being in development This seems like it is going to be a running joke for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan as we have yet another "leak" of information but no acknowledgement from any of the parties claimed to be involved on if it really is a game. It's been a few months since rumor started up that Platinum Games and Activision were working on Mutants In Manhattan but even now that we have a list of Achievements for the Xbox One version of the game we still have no one jumping out into the open and declaring TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan to be more than just a fan pipedream. Yes, you read that. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Video Games The list of free video games hitting the PlayStation and Xbox systems in the new year have been released and there are some great video games included in the mix As we near the end of the year the news and updates on our video games usually runs a bit dry. Everyone is either at home playing their favorite video games or not currently working on anything as the season pretty much dictates now. Thankfully though it looks like the new list of free games coming to the PlayStation and Xbox platforms have been revealed for the next year and it looks like both companies are starting our new year off with a band with a slew of free games to be had. Of course to get your mitts on these free games you need to be a current PS Plus or Xbox Gold member but in today's day who isn't by now. Read More...

More On TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan In The Way Of Leaked Art
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of December 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Mutants In Manhattan Some possible new art for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan has shown up and if true it points in the direction that Mutants In Manhattan could go if it is indeed a game being made If you remember earlier in the month we heard about a possible TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan video game in the works. Speculation started to rise when the name was registered by Activision and said registration listed Platinum Games as the developer. Since then neither group has been forthcoming with any information as to what Mutants In Manhattan could be or if it is indeed another title in the works and the governments that enforce said registrations of IPs let the cat out of the bag a little early. Review — Amplitude
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Amplitude We sit down and review Amplitude. It's been 12 years in the re-making so there is a lot to live up to. Did they do it? Here's our review of Amplitude It is hard to believe that Amplitude originally came out back in 2003. It truly doesn't seem like that long ago but none the less Harmonix has come together again, with the help of a successful Kickstarter, to bring Amplitude off of the PS2 and onto the PS3 and PS4 for the new generation. This isn't just a port but a true remake of Amplitude. Of course fans of the game have a lot of expectations here and now is the time to dig in and see if they were met. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game's Stamina System Will Be Very Familiar To Fans
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of December 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new video for Friday The 13th: The Game shows off the game's stamina and noise mechanics and Friday The 13th fans will see a lot of similarities between the films and game here It should really come as no surprise that Friday The 13th: The Game will have a stamina and noise mechanic built into the game to give players that authentic experience. Running out of stamina and making too much noise is always a drawback when facing off against Jason and Gun Media is making sure we have that in the game. It really wouldn't be Friday The 13th if it wasn't in there and stamina/noise was treated like points on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Read More...

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Coming To PC Sooner Than Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of December 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Rise Of The Tomb Raider A new Steam listing for Rise Of The Tomb Raider indicates that we may be seeing a PC version of Rise Of The Tomb Raider by January of next year If reports and websites are true then it looks like the wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to hit anything but an Xbox One or and Xbox 360 is going to be a lot shorter for us all. In fact it looks like many PC gamers will be enjoying Crystal Dynamics' latest title here as soon as January of next year if there hasn't been some kind of glitch in the system for Steam. There is still no word on when Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be hitting the PS4 as of yet but at least there is some more light being shined on the "exclusivity" of the game and when it will end. This Week In Video Games 12/21/15 — 12/23/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of December 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another short week in video games but it was a bit hardier than we have had in Christmases past. Usually this time is filled with all kinds of fluff and filler for our precious video games but there were so many little tidbits revealed and shared for our video games that it was fruitful. Granted some were on the sad side like the Uncharted 4 delay but then there were others like the Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay and additions coming to Dying Light and Black Ops 3. We were even able to crank out a few of those promised reviews into the mix as well. Read More...

Review — Just Cause 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Just Cause 3 We Sit Down And Review Just Cause 3. There Has Been A Lot Of Hype & Other Sandbox Games But Does This One Take The Cake? Here's Our Review Of Just Cause 3 We all wanted the madness of Just Cause 3 or just another entry to the franchise and now we have it. In a sea of sandbox titles this year who doesn't need another one right? At least Just Cause 3 has a nice little franchise history of doing things right to piggy back on. That also means that Avalanche Studios has a lot to live up to in terms of not only gameplay but also an amazing narrative to go hand in hand with it. Read More...

The Awakening Is Happening For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 In February
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 The first major Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC, Awakening, will be dropping in February next year adding more maps to Black Ops 3's multiplayer and zombies mode The force has awakened and now it is time for the first batch of DLC for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. Granted it doesn't look like that will be fully happening until February 2nd 2016 for those who have the game on the PS3 or PS4 but Treyarch wanted to make sure we all had a glimpse at what was in store for this DLC. Also a little stab at those waiting for it to hit the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and/or PC as they will most likely have to wait another month before this Black Ops 3 DLC lands for them. I guess this is what it is like when the shoe is on the other foot for the "exclusive first" bit for DLC right? Read More...

New Kingdom Hearts 3 Combat Footage To Gaze Upon In Development
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of December 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts 3 A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 has been released only this time it houses more Kingdom Hearts 3 combat so we can see how the game is progressing The promise was made by Square Enix that we would see some new gameplay for Kingdom Hearts 3 last week and it looks like we finally had it. It was a bit later than most expected but now we can see a bit more on how the game is being developed as well as how we are going to be teaming up without favorite Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters again in Kingdom Hearts 3. Although from the looks of this none of that has happened yet in Kingdom Hearts 3 for this footage as it is a very basic fight scene with lands and enemies we have seen time and time again in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. This Week In Video Games 12/14/15 — 12/18/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 19th of December 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another great week in video games down as we move into the ever slow holiday and Christmas season. This is usually when things get so very slow in video games news and we have to scrap the bottom of the barrel for updates and news. At least we still had System Shock 3 and Tekken 7 announced and shown off this week. Also the very non-seasonal Friday The 13th had a nice update too. Read More...

More Titles Hit The Xbox One's Backward Compatibility
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of December 2015 - 07:59 PM ]
Xbox One 17 more titles hit the Xbox One in way of Backward Compatibility giving more Xbox One gamers something to play over the Christmas Break As if the 104 titles that were already Xbox One backwards compatible were not enough it looks like we get a whole bunch more added this week to expand that library further. Microsoft may not be crushing it in the console selling area at the moment but they sure do have a lot of fan favorite titles making it back to the Xbox One and now we have 17 more to add to the list. All in time for all of those Christmas or Holiday presents to be opened and put to good use. Read More...
