As the prophecy foretold, the XBOX 360 Pro was going away. Now we have pictures, not too shabby ones either. As you can plainly see in the image, the information on the box no longer lists the Pro in the comparison sheet. This jives with the reports back in June that Microsoft was looking to replace the Pro with the Elite, shaving the Pro from the lineup. The prophecy, also spoke of another fate for the 360: a September price drop. Do we really need another collector's edition from another high end game? In this case, yes we do. Assassin Creed II is joining Batman and Modern Warfare2 for the collectors edition party. It was announced Monday (August 3rd, 2009) on the Assassin Creed twitter that the second installment of the game will have a Limited Edition Gamestop Exclusive of Assassin Creed II. Which will only be available for the US and Canada on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Brütal Legend Take Two As you may have known if you follow Corey or myself on Twitter at all, you would have seen how mush the PR train was rolling at Comic Con this year. It was Huge! Dante's Inferno So at E3 this year, we were all given some great teases as to what to expect for Dante's Inferno from EA. All in the form of an extended trailer and a little bit of watching the designers play through a level showing off their game. No solid hands on experience, but it was still a great sight to see. God of War III Art With talks of a movie script being finalized and a novelization of the first game in the works and slated for the same time God of War III launches, it is no surprise that Sony would be a little more loose with actual game content for this power house. Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta DLC Here is an interesting way to conclude the reign of DLC for Fallout 3. Let's beam people onto an alien mothership that has crashed on the planet after tricking them into thinking there is a distress call emanating from it. Things get really exciting when they find out that they must to fight their way to the helm of the ship to secure it, their lives and an escape route. An interesting twist to things, but I think some of the features that are offered up are going to be the bigger selling point. The Debut Trailer For ModNation Racers Since E3, there hasn't been much talked about this new IP from United Front Games. It was a sneak hit during the Sony E3 Briefing and shown a little bit, in trailer form, around their booth. After that, it has fallen off the radar from all gaming sites, even here at Aggrogamer.
