Straight Out Of CES Comes The LyteShot Kickstarter

LyteShot, a new gaming platform, was shown off at CES 2015 and has had its Kickstarter campaign kicked off This may be the first time you've heard of LyteShot but I've heard a few things and had the pleasure of seeing things up close and personal at CES here this week. Nothing in action outside of the below Kickstarter video for the gaming platform but if you can use your imagination, as the platform wants, then you can see how this could be the next great addition to gaming; both video and physical. Star Fox Could Be Playable At E3 2015

Shigeru Miyamoto stated in a recent interview with Smosh Games that Star Fox for the Wii U could have a playable demo at E3 2015 If you are a Star Fox and also on the list for going to E3 this year then you may be able to line up and play the game. At least if you are lucky enough to get in and willing to sit in the crazy long line that is going to inevitably be plaguing the Nintendo booth given the latest little tidbit revealed on Smosh Games. That being from Shigeru Miyamoto responding from the age old question of "when will we get to play [insert game]?" New enemy details have been released for Resident Evil Revelations 2 from Capcom to better describe the horrors we will all be facing You've waited and now we have a bit more on all of those weird creatures we will be killing in Resident Evil Revelations 2's first episode in about a month's time. Okay, well maybe you weren't asking for it but that doesn't change the fact that we have some new details from Capcom to help cover those with the curious minds like Moira and Claire will obviously be having. Sony Is Trying To Make Up For That PlayStation Outage

Sony has just announced how it is going to try and appease all of those gamers who were affected by the PlayStation Network outage over the holiday week If you were like me then you were most likely not able to play online games on your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 over the holiday week as some asshats thought it funny to take down both the PSN and XBL. Not only did it make things hard for all of those gamers who received their new consoles for the holidays but it also forced people to leave their families to fix the issue. Oh The BioShock Film That Could Have Been…

Concept art for the canceled BioShock movie has been released online showing off the direction that the film could have taken If there was one franchise that could have made the jump into films easily it was BioShock. The environments, the characters, the story, and well everything about it could have easily made the jump. Unfortunately at this time BioShock will not be gracing the silver screen in a film sort of way. The project was canned a while back due to having the funds slashed from $200 million to $80 million. Looks Like That PlanetSide 2 Beta Is Going Live Soon

Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley quietly announced that the PlanetSide 2 beta could be live early in January 2015 Good news for those hoping for the PlanetSide 2 PS4 beta to be coming sooner than later. It looks like everything is on track for said beta to go live here in a few weeks. Right around the same time that the H1Z1 will be coming to Steam for early access. All of these dates are between January 13th and the 20th with the H1Z1 being a locked January 15th. Read More...

Naughty Dog is celebrating their 30th anniversary and the developer and PlayStation have a nice video to help educate you on where they came from If you just thought to yourself "I don't need a history lesson for Naughty Dog" then you are most likely the largest fan of the developer or you're an employee of theirs. They have had a long 30 year run that has been pushed and promoted pretty much all year. See How The Monsters Of Evolve Have Evolved

In the latest livestream for Evolve we get a good look at how all of the monsters have evolved in the game as well as a better look at the Wraith The third monster for Evolve has been revealed and we've seen a bit on the Wraith but now it is time to get the full look at her. Not only the Wraith but all of the monsters we will be playing in Evolve when it launches on February 10th next year have gone though some evolving just as the game's title states. Now we have a nice long look at the evolution as well as a lot of game play for the monster so we can be better prepared when the Evolve beta lands on top of the game proper. Evolve's Third Monster Finally Shows Her Sneaky Face

The third monster for Evolve has been revealed as well as the dates for the next beta on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC Merry Early X-mas to me and all of those Evolve fans out there as we have the third monster that we will be hunting down or hunting with this coming February. To quote Turtle Rock Studios on this, "She’s a space alien ninja Monster who warps around the battlefield, ripping into her enemies with her blade-claws. PlayStation Experience Hands On — Resident Evil Revelations 2

While At The PlayStation Experience I Was Able To See Resident Evil Revelations 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just A Trailer. It is coming out here in a few months but is it going to be worth our time and money We've had the release date for the first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 already but we've yet to have a whole lot of time to have hands on with how this new game will handle. During the God Of War retrospective panel at the PlayStation Experience Cory Barlog let loose that a new title was in the works, only very quietly Looks like there is a new God Of War title in the works according to Cory Barlog. During the PlayStation Experience there was a nifty panel that took place in the form of a God Of War retrospective. Pretty much it was a celebration and fun event for all fans of the franchise to relive the fun and talk to some of the minds behind the famed franchise.
