Leon’s Backstory Is A Bit Different In The Resident Evil 2 Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil It has been pointed out that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be changing Leon’s backstory a bit than we knew in Resident Evil 2 The differences from the Resident Evil 2 Remake and the original game are growing outside of just visuals and a bit of level design as it has been spotted that story elements are being shifted a bit too. This is something I always figured Capcom would do here too, but now we have more proof as it looks like Leon's backstory is getting shifted a bit too. Some say to a less dark place than we knew in the original Resident Evil 2, but it feels a bit more fitting given what we will be experiencing in the game. Read More...

Devil May Cry 5 Will Have Some Odd Live-Action Mixed In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Devil May Cry A new tease for the live-action parts of Devil May Cry 5 have been revealed and it looks just as odd as Devil May Cry has ever looked before One of the more odd things added into the Deluxe Edition of Devil May Cry 5 has to be the inclusion of live-action options for the cutscenes in the game. Given that this edition is the only way to unlock them during the game is the first part, but also it is live-action mixed into an all-digital game. It seems like a waste of money on Capcom's end, but they are going to do what they are going to do. Read More...

Relive The Story That Will Lead Up To Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Metro A nice recap of the Metro story so far is here to get us all ready for when Metro Exodus finally launches next year It has been some time between the last title in the series and when we will be seeing Metro Exodus. About five years or so have passed by in the real world and about two in the game world. There is a whole lot of information that we could have missed or let slip through since 4A Games delivered us a title in the franchise. That means that there is a lot riding on Metro Exodus at this point so we may need to recap a few things before diving in on February 15th. Read More...

Jump Force Has A Few More Characters Joining The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Jump Force A few more characters for Jump Force are here to look at as the roster for Jump Force expands just a little bit more before launch It is getting close to launch and we still have more characters coming for Jump Force as we have another video that shows some off. At least one new one and then one that was announced by Bandai Namco already and getting the flashing showing now. Unless you have seen Deku from My Hero Academia and/or Asta from Black Clover in the past for Jump Force before last week. I do not think I have, so we will treat them as fully new for our purposes. Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Afterlife The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. In fact, Deep Silver has set the date down as March 26th of 2019 where we will be experiencing the new RPG from Nine Dots in full. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Degrees Of Separation A new video for Degrees Of Separation is here to take us through the basics of Degrees Of Separation and how we can play the game co-op or solo You may have heard a lot about Degrees Of Separation, and seen a little bit before now, but now we are here with the first gameplay out there to show off just what we can expect from this game when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on February 14th. Control’s World Is Expanded Just A Bit More Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Control The next trailer for Control is here to take us back into the Oldest House again and show off more of what the Federal Bureau of Control are dealing with Get ready for more of that “new weird” we keep hearing about for Control as we have yet another trailer for the game that goes into just a bit more of all of that. Not too much as it looks to be a lot of the same visuals we have had a few times, but there is some new narration that further explains a bit more of the history in the world being built by Remedy here. That is always a good thing when dealing such strangeness as we have since Control was first announced. Read More...

We Are Heading Back To Hell As We Have The Announcement For Succubus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Succubus A spin-off game, Succubus, is now announced and will further expand the story of Agony’s Succubus demon than the core game did If you have had a chance to play Agony, then you may know about the character known as the Succubus and the little bit you get to play as the demon. It was a little bit but something that Madmind Studio gave us and then left us to the rest of that game. Strangely enough, that was not the end of the story there and now we have word that we are getting a whole spin-off game called Succubus to further explore that demon. I am not sure if that is what the masses were asking for there, but it is now coming and set to hit the PC at some point. Read More...

Jump Force Adds In Some New Characters With A Bit More Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Jump Force A new story trailer for Jump Force is here for our viewing pleasure as well as listing more characters added in for Jump Force It is story time here for Jump Force, finally, as we have a new trailer that dives right into all of that so we can try to get a reason as to why all of these anime and manga IPs are crossing over for a fight. I mean, outside of Bandai Namco wanting to make a video game that has us fighting with all of these characters for fun and profit. That should be a given as it is not being given away for free on February 15th. Read More...

Close To The Sun Has A New Publisher & Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Close To The Sun A new publisher is here for Close To The Sun as we head into 2019 and also get some new gameplay for Close To The Sun too boot We have not had too many updates for Close To The Sun here on the site, but it is high time that we did. Especially since we are all clamoring for some gameplay and to find out just when the game is going to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Something that should be a little sooner and easier to do as Storm In A Teacup is now all partnered up with Wired Productions to do just that for Close To The Sun. A happy day indeed for those looking to see if the Unreal Grant was going to be enough or if they were going to be able to focus on making the game we have been looking for since its announcement. Just a little bit before and then a little bit after so we can all see just how Ada will work into the events of Resident Evil 2 this time around. Read More...

Especially with an IP like Life Is Strange, we are going to be critical and thankfully, Square Enix let them take that extra time. Read More...
