Almost a year after its announcement at E3 '09, we finally get to see what Hideo Kojima has been doing to one of gaming's iconic franchises, Castlevania. He is playing around with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow in a way that I am still kind of on the fence about. The Cake Is Truly A Lie, But Portal 2 Is Not

It's been a long time coming, but it is finally here. Portal 2 has been announced. Announced via the latest edition of Game Informer as a twelve page article and featured on two different covers for this edition. You can see the images below. Not too bad to look at, but you will have to get the magazine to get more details as of right now. Or you could pop on over to the GameStop site and scope out these details listed under the PC description for the pre-order. A description that states there is going to be a full new cast of characters, a load of new puzzles, much larger puzzles as well, and multiplayer/co-op modes in the game. Read More...

The time has finally come for us all to head back into Rapture and see what has transpired since the fall of Andrew Ryan and get some questions answered. Is the city still standing up well? Have the splicers died off? What happened to those pesky ADAM filled Little Sisters? All kinds of questions that we were left to wonder when escaping from the underwater city in the first BioShock. The Story: Picking up almost ten years after Jack escaped from Rapture, BioShock 2 starts you out in a similar WTF moment forcing the start of the game. UPDATE: As of now (4:40 pm PST 3/1/10) the PSN outage for older console users is over. But will this force Sony to make an update so if it happens again PS3s the world over will not be ass out? We'll see when they give an official announcement on the went wrong. Still not boding well in my book. So if you are a huge fan of playing games on the PS3, or watching movies on the PS3, or running around humping things in Home on the PS3, you undoubtedly know that as of right now you can't. Mini Review: Resident Evil 5: Lost In Nightmares

Only a few weeks now until the new Gold Edition of Resident Evil hit's shelves for first time players of the game to get the biggest bang for their buck. Or if you are an old player, to enjoy the behind the scenes parts of the game for the first time. Primarily, in the instance of Lost in Nightmares, the weird flash backs that Chris has about Jill through out Resident Evil 5. Also done in a very interesting spoiler free way. Fly Planes Into Buildings With Greed Corp

Now there is a great addition I though was still 15.2 years away, a ways off from the required 23.7, from being funny. But as shown in the launch trailer for Greed Corp, a game W!Games just released in the wilds, you get to do just that. It even looks like a basic attack to use in this interesting new RTS for the PSN and XBLA. Who wouldn't want to relive that over and over? Kratos Just Ripped One Over God Of War III Trophies

Here are the trophies in all of their God of War godly glory. Well at least half of them, as you can see from the list of 36 trophies below. So they are more the Public trophies of God of War III in the end. Which leads me to believe that like in the God of War Collection, you will get trophies for completing parts of the story and collecting required items for Kratos to enact his revenge. At least that can seem a safe assumption. One interesting thing about the list though is that they reused a few of the same names for similar trophies from before. Read More...

Not Your Parents Clash Of The Titans

Only a little more than a month away until the "remake" of the classic 1981 Clash Of The Titans hits theaters. For those who are early 80's movie retarded, it was a retelling of the Greek story of Perseus' persecution. Albeit a bit skewed from the original tale for film purposes, but a fun clay-mation driven film. The new film a deviation from the original from the looks of things, and not just the modern effects and CGI, but a bit of the story. The film is not what this is all about though. Read More...

Batman has been a staple of the Warner Bros. company for a very long time. Live action films, animated series, and a few games have been brought to us from Warner directly in the past. Now it looks like that is going to change here real soon. Especially with the most recent new franchise, Arkham Asylum. God I love viral marketing. Especially the kind of viral marketing that draws you in deeper and deeper to find out very little about what is being advertised. Or at least when the details are so cryptic you don't get much out of it, but still want more. Something that Funcom has been doing for almost a year now with The Secret World. Just "dug up" on the great internets is a blog that shows it has been running since November of last year. Little Red In My Resident Evil 5

Well, the day is finally here where the entire console gaming community can get all those new features they threw into Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, without having to shell out the cash for a full game. The new DLC for the game is now available for download on the XBox 360 and PS3. The DLC includes all the build up to what happened to Jill in the cut scenes, and about an extra hour's worth of gameplay. Not to mention all the additional costumes and characters in the mutiplayer mode. To commemorate this day of the new release, Capcom has given us a video rendition of the old trailer for the game.
