Good news Gears Of War fans. At least those fans that have pulled themselves away from the copy of Bulletstorm they purchased just to get into the beta for Gears Of War 3 long enough to read the internet or their Twitter feeds. It has been made official when you will be able to get your hands on the full version of the game. The wait is now over. No longer will you have to wait to find out when you will be getting to play an enthralling cinematic story that will captivate you in this intimately intense action game. Read More...

You know one thing I noticed when playing through Dead Space 2, and the other Dead Space titles for that matter? The lack of other real "hero" types on the ship or Sprawl. Yea Extraction and Ignition had other protagonists, but for the most part they turned out not as heroic as Isaac. I mean Ignition had 2 scenarios where Franco kills Sarah in cold blood. Then you have McNeill in Extraction that seems to have been turned into a Necromorph in the epilogue of the game.* Well, come this March 1st we will get to see another protagonist, from Extraction, try to fit into Isaac's Rig to add another two chapters to Dead Space 2. With the huge hype for both Bulletstorm and Killzone 3 it is a little easy to see how this gem I've been watching fall through the crack of attention. The gem being Knights Contract for those who have not been following along over the last month. Also for those who refuse or don't read the titles of the articles we post here on AggroGamer. But that is splitting skulls hairs I guess. Well Knights Contract launched yesterday amongst the two giant FPS games none the less. Read More...

So the 3DS is hitting shelves in just about a month. March 27th to be exact for you. Wouldn't it be nice to know if it is going to be worth a purchase out the gate? At least for those people who care to have a launch 3DS for gaming and not just to have bragging rights that they sat in line for over a week to get the very first one their local electronics store had. People in the first category should want to know if they are going to have to wait to play some good games at launch. That is where we at AggroGamer are going to step in and show you the titles you can look forward to shelling out extra cash on if you are getting a 3DS on launch day. Read More...

By Matt Waitt Over the past couple weeks Fox News has blasted Bulletstorm as being "the worst video game in the world" as well as their typical fear mongering, fact-less accusations and other assorted nonsense that they tend to discharge out of their empty skulls. A blog on Foxnews.com kicks some dirt on Epic Games and People Can Fly with some fact absent claims such as "sexual situations and acts in video games – highlighted so well in Bulletstorm – have led to real-world sexual violence." For a friendly reminder this statement is a joke. According the federal crime statistics the rate of juvenile violent crimes in the United States has been steadily DECREASING over the past five or six years. Read More...

Just like the announcement of Chris Hemsworth voicing Thor in the movie tie-in game of the same name, it looks like Chris Evans is doing the same for Cap. in Captain America: Super Soldier. As the title says, real shocking news right? I am almost certain that most of us saw this coming in the first place, so the announcement is really no big surprise. Just like I said for Thor the surprise would be that the game is at least worth a rental. Moving on from that, there are a few new screen shots below for us to look at and get all hopeful over. Well we can put the rumors the Batman: Arkham City co-op video that found its way to the internet started. In a recent interview Sefton Hill from of Rocksteady Studios gave there will be no co-op play in Arkham City. It will be a single player game only. This kind of makes me extremely happy. Especially with the reasons being that they didn't want to take anyone from the team off the work on single player to deliver a rushed co-op mode. Better to have one really good single player game than a shotty single and co-op. On the plus side for you co-op wanters, with the news came a few new screen shots of the game. Read More...

Yesterday when the trailer for Dead Island hit the internet it caused a huge sensation. It is quite a brilliant trailer to behold. I did happen to notice two things about it though. The main thing is that it caused so many emotional responses, most in the form of crying or tearing up. I'm not talking just women either before you go there guys. Be it the mixture of the music and the film style or the fact that you are watching something extremely happy being torn apart by flesh eating monsters. It has some impact. Read More...

While the two below trailers are mainly about Liu Kang and Noob Saibot being playable characters in Mortal Kombat, let's play a bit of "Where's Waldo?" with the clips and see if we can find a few characters not fully announced yet. That is if you can look past the pretty basic story for Liu and asskickery of Noob. I think I'm seeing Ermac, Sindel, Kano and Jade in there. All pretty basic and assumed to be in the game from the start, but hey it is a fun little game to play along with these clips. Read More...

To me this isn't really a problem but a well adjusted response to the twisted stuff Alice went through in the first game. I mean come on, she deserves to get some of that anger, aggression and violent feelings out some way and what better than stabbing the shit out of every living creature at the Tea Party. Confused on what I am talking about? Then it is obvious you have yet to see the new teaser for Alice: Madness Returns which I am so nice to present to you below. Read More...

With that, let us celebrate by watching the fourth, I'm assuming last, episode of the story as well as a showcasing of the full roster of on-disc combatants for MvC3. Mainly for all of you out there that have yet to get your hands on the game and play through the main story path of the game. Yes there is story somewhere in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Or at least I am hoping on the game disc itself. Read More...

Since being announced during 2010's Tokyo Game Show, Shadows Of The Damned has not had all that much going on in the way of news. Maybe because of the 2011 release year being upon us it is time to show a bit more on the Survival Horror that look like it has gone a long way away from that genre. It still has the same looks about it for a SH but the game play that has been shown for the game definitely doesn't seem to go along those lines. I am digging the creatures we get to see though. Like the blood golem looking thing and the demon without skin. Read More...

So just like the Transformers Game, Green Lantern is getting the same treatment with a video game tie-in. A game nicely titled Green Lantern: Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters and looks to be as tied to the film in every way but overall story. At least the below trailer would lead me to believe that it takes place somewhere mid-way or after the story the upcoming film will have. Here check it out. From the looks of it, Hal will already be versed in the ways of a Lantern to fight the threat. Read More...

I was hoping that we were all beyond this with the epic tea bagging Devastator gave us in the last Transformers film. But I guess Transformers: War For Cybertron did well enough for Activision to look into doing another Transformers game. With that let me present you Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. The next in the line of new Transformers games and a tie-in with the new film from look and sound of it. Why they have switched gears from the new games they have created to the tie-in I have no clue. Well outside of wanting to milk the consumer for more money because of the film. Read More...
