Wii Balance Board Controls WoW I figured it was only a matter of time before it happened, so here it is. The Balance Board has been "hacked" to be used to control World of Warcraft movement. Paralyzed Man Takes A Walk In Virtual World Ok, so I love reading about these kinds of things that make science fiction into science fact over time. I know I've had other stories about similar things, but I found yet another one that I thought god to share with you. So this guy in Japan that has been hit with a horrible lot and has been paralyzed got hooked up, pun intended, with a device that reads his brainwaves and allows for him to manipulate data in a computer. Mainly just the data streams that are used for input and such, but still data. He merely thought about walking and was able to make an avatar in Second Life walk around the virtual world. Video: Guitar Hero IV Demo I was perusing Kotaku.com and stumbled across this little gem. I almost busted a gut when I watched the stuff leading up to the actual demo of the game. One quote in particular. I'll wait until after you watch the video before I slap it out for you. It is awesome. Here's the Video. That it looks like Resident Evil 5 will be out for this holiday season. Well before the big on and after the appropriate one. Christmas and Halloween respectfully. Rise of the Argonauts So I swear I heard about this over a year ago. I could be wrong. Or I could be right. In either instance, this game looks like it could be epic. Pun intended as always. This game is suppose to be a pretty close telling of the Greek Legends of yore, with a little new world twist to get a broader audience than freaks like me who are all about the Greek stories. The First Shot of the Drum Kit that will be used in GH 4 So Activision did what I knew they would. Try to copy it's best competitor to try and cash in on a market that they didn't get in on from the start. Yes, the pic above is of a new drum kit to be used in Guitar Hero 4. If you didn't hear already, the next Guitar Hero will have vocals and drums added into the mix. And this is the pick of the drum kit that will most likely be used in the game.
