The Steam Machine is one of the hot items at this year's CES and I was lucky enough to get all handsie with one of the units and controllers. What did I think? The Steam Machine had to be one of the top things I wanted to check out at this year's CES in Las Vegas, NV and it just happened to be the first thing to kick off my experience. To those who don't know what they are you can check out more info here so I don't have to get into the details of the device(s). For those of you who do have a clue, then read on and see what my I think. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review The Walking Dead Season 2 - All That Remains. It's The First Episode But Does It Keep The Steamroller Of A Franchise Rolling? I've finally had time to digest the events of the first episode of the second season of The Walking Dead from Telltale. It's been over a year coming and we now get to see what happens to the adorable little Clementine and the survivors of the previous season even though those numbers were running pretty low at the end. So let's jump in and see if the wait was worth it. If there seems to be description missing that is due to trying to keep this as spoiler free as possible. Read More...

The Walking Dead Season 2 Is Finally Launching And Launching Today For Most. Let's See What Telltale Has For Us. If there was one game that captures so many over the last two years it has been The Walking Dead from Telltale. Hard to believe it has been that long since we were first introduced to Clementine and Lee isn't it? It has been though and now we are moving into the second season of the The Walking Dead franchise and for most of us gamers out there that day is today. Don't get too worried by me saying for most of us and not all just yet though. Read More...

The New Tom Clancy's The Division Trailer Shows Off The Amazing Snowdrop Engine But Nothing In Terms Of Gameplay I have heard so many people talk about how awesome The Division looks and how excited everyone is for it. After watching a few of the gameplay videos online, because I missed the first big showing at E3, I too have been getting more and more interested in The Division. I am not a huge Tom Clancy fan but the visuals and little bit of gameplay I have seen makes me ignore that part of the game's title and keep alerts up on anything new. Like most of you I got excited when it was stated there was going to be new gameplay video during the VGX awards last weekend. Read More...

Shock And Awe At The Power And Utility Given With The Unreal Engine 4. We've Seen The Final Project. Now See How It Was Done. Time to take a little side trip away from the normal hustle and bustle of gaming and go down the avenue of how some of our favorite games, or soon to be favorite games, are made. I think any of us would be hard pressed to not be able to name a title made via the Unreal Engine. If you have to think too hard on that then you must turn in your 'Gamer Card' now. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review The PlayStation 4. What Are Its Faults? Where Does It Shine? Find Out What We Think. The time has come and the PlayStation 4 has now hit North America and Europe. This also means that I have had a few weeks to dig into the system and put it through some real gaming testing. Not only gaming, but all of the other features that we should be getting with the PlayStation 4 to make it the console that drives your home entertainment. So sit back and have a fun read to see if you should sprint out and pick up this system. Hated Ok, so where did all of my features go that I loved with video playing? Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD. How Does This Port From The 3DS Stand Up On The PS3 And 360? Originally released on the 3DS, most of us who don't own a 3DS missed out on Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror Of Fate. Luckily for all of us who are fans of the Lords of Shadow franchise MercurySteam added a HD rendition of Mirror Of Fate in the recent Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow Collection for the PS3 and 360. This is just in time to let us all have a good go at the full story before LoS2 comes out. As usual though, is the game worth your time or should you pass on it? Read More...

Looks Like Oddworld: I remember way back in 1997 when I first spun up Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee in my PS One. At the time I thought it was the pinnacle of graphics and fun story telling. Now it looks like we are getting a HD rendition of some sort with Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty. From what I remember of the original and see below in the story trailer it is the same in most ways. But that is to be expected from a full remake am I right? Read More...

A New Story DLC Pack If you have not played The Last Of Us yet or at least made it about half way through I would recommend not reading much more or even watching the clip below as it does link up to one of my favorite parts of Ellie's past. That part being where she talks about how she survived with her friend only to have her friend get infected and forcing Ellie to go solo. While there isn't much detail on what we will be getting in this new DLC I think with what is shown below we can assume it has much to do with this part of her past. Read More...

There Are A Couple Of I don't know if you want to take this as good news for PlayStation owners or not but it looks like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is going to have a mode just for them. This mode is simply called Déjà Vu and from the looks of it, it is a mode that allows you to replay missions in Metal Gear Solid V using the original skins from the PS One days. Exciting stuff to say the least. Read More...

The PlayStation 4 Has So the PlayStation 4 has only been officially out in North America for a few days. I, like many other excited gamers, spent many hours tooling around in the system, playing games, and watching videos. Fortunately for myself I have yet to run into any of the issues that seem to have been reported all over the internet the last few days. The bricking 'Blue Pulse Of Death' and the 'Red Line Of Death' seem to be the most common in the mix. Read More...

We Sit Down And Revie It's that time of year again. Time for another Call Of Duty to hit shelves and this time it is with Call Of Duty: Ghosts. There have been a load of upgrades and a new engine since last year's Black Ops II. Most of you may know that there are multiple updates to the multiplayer mode to boot. This review will not be covering those at this time as I focused mainly on the campaign mode. Read More...

A New Uncharted Title Today is the day that PlayStation 4 officially hits the streets of North America but that isn't the only news that Sony wants people focused on. It shouldn't be a huge surprise but a new Uncharted title has been announced for the PlayStation 4. Something that was kind of a given as it was teased that there was going to be another huge title announced just before the console's launch. I figured it was going to be either another God Of War title or Uncharted as they are the most logical to show off some of the power of the PS4. Read More...

The Latest South Park A few years ago, around the launch of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, there was a huge controversy over an acronym that was being used as a promotional piece for the game. Fight Against Grenade Spam was the tag for those that don't remember. They caught a lot of flak for it from the media and at about the same time the brains over at South Park Studios put out an episode, The F Word, which summed up my feelings on the matter. As we move into the new consoles coming out here in a matter of days, one for the PlayStation 4 and eight for the Xbox One in NA, I have been seeing more and more on this gens 'Console War'. A New Trailer For Rys Last time I took a look at Ryse Son Of Rome I made a bunch of comparisons to GoW in the terms of looks and story. It is such an easy jump between the two. Now we are getting a new look at the combat and gameplay of the game and comparisons be damned, Ryse Son Of Rome's combat is now a huge selling point for me. If you are still on the fence take a look below and see what I am talking about. If you are curious before watching the trailer it looks like the combat for Ryse Son Of Rome has taken some of the better parts of the Arkham games mixed with the brutality of GoW. Read More...
