A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Way to wrap a week in video games on a high not right? With Valentine's Day tomorrow I was expecting things to be very slow and filled with the normal PR bullshit that game developers and publishers send out. You know those little images and quick videos to show how much they supposedly care outside of just wanting our money. 2K was doing is all week for Borderlands. Instead of just all of that though we ended with a nice new Valentine's Day trailer for Until Dawn and some cool Mortal Kombat news. Read More...

New listings on Amazon show a Darksiders 2 Definitive edition as well as a few other Nordic Games titles coming to the PS4 and Xbox One I'd start by saying that the Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One was a rumor except that as of this time Amazon Still has the page live for pre-order from Nordic Games. So pretty much we can expect to see Death gracing our next gen systems sometime this year after being remastered by Nordic Games. Some may scoff at the idea of another "remaster" title coming out instead of a brand new IP but Darksiders 2 was a title that I personally think everyone should play and very few did so on the PS3 and Xbox 360 so here is a chance to remedy that gamers. A new trailer for Just Cause 3 has given us a release window for the game as well as some amazing visuals to speculate on If you came here looking for a whole bunch of new information for Just Cause 3 from Avalanche Studios then you are going to be sad. If you came here to see a fun new trailer that gives us a release window for Just Cause 3 then you are going to be extremely happy as that is what we have here for you. Those who fall in the prior category can kind of take the win there as it brings you one step closer to finding out when you'll be playing Just Cause 3 on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. So it really is a win-win situation just with a greater win for those looking for the trailer. Read More...

A Valentine's Day trailer for Until Dawn has been released by Supermassive Games to show a lovely side Until Dawn may have Love is supposedly in the air as tomorrow is Valentine's Day so what better way to show your affection than by seeing a new trailer for Until Dawn. Love or Lust are always part of horror films and video games so why not see how Supermassive Games is going to set the stage so we can follow the horror movie rules when Until Dawn comes home sometime this year. It wouldn't be the classic horror story if we didn't have teens or early tweens trying to bump uglies and let's face it, Valentine's Day is truly all about that. I guess I am just trying to further make sense as to why this PS4 title needs a trailer on the day before V-day. Read More...

In the recent Mortal Kombat X Kombat Kast it was confirmed that Jade will not be in the game outside of Kitana's moves That may sound a little confusing but yes, Jade will not be in Mortal Kombat X. At least that is in the form of the traditional sense we may be hoping for. She is in Mortal Kombat X in the way of a fighting variation for Kitana as revealed during the most recent Kombat Kast by the team over at NetherRealm Studios. On top of that we also were given a good look at the variations for the two characters that we have yet to have details for. That would be Kitana of course and Reptile. Read More...

There is a new look at Rise Of The Tomb Raider and the new environments and effects that we will get to experience on the Xbox One Here we go with a few more updates for Rise Of The Tomb Raider coming from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. It still pains me that I can't list any other platforms at this time but what are we going to do right? Well we'll just keep on keeping on and have a look at what is new in the way of environments and the world for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. That is totally what we are going to do. Read More...

A new look at Bloodborne's environments has been showcased and it really highlights the creepy, gothic setting Bloodborne will have If there has been one thing that has impressed me for Bloodborne it has to be the setting and environment for the game. I am a sucker for creepy, Gothic settings and there is no doubt that From Software is bringing the 'A' game for Bloodborne in that aspect. Even when I have had shoddy hands-on experiences with the game this has been one thing that has kept me wandering around and searching every nook and cranny of the levels so I can get the full appreciation for Bloodborne. If you have yet to experience anything for Bloodborne outside of the previous trailers and gameplay videos then rest assured that just below we have a nice showcasing for all of the environments and world I've been gabbing on about. A new trailer for Shiftlings has been released and it shows off a few of the ways that you will die or fail the mission ahead Look at that. We have a new trailer for that quirky little platforming title called Shiftlings from Sierra and Rock Pocket Games. We first saw something along the PS4 and Xbox One version of Shiftlings about a month ago now. This is that little space "reality TV" show game where you and your buddy are connected via a tube and forced to shrink and expand to move around the puzzling levels. Go back and see what I am talking about because we are ever moving forward and that is what we are going to do here for Shiftlings. Read More...

Hitman: Agent 47 is the reboot film for the franchise and we have the first trailer now and it looks rather good Before you get too excited Hitman: Agent 47 is not the title for the new Hitman title being made by Square Enix and Io Interactive. We still have some time to wait for that trailer. Hitman: Agent 47 is the new film for the franchise that is more of a re-boot to the cinematic universe for the Hitman franchise. You may or may not have heard of the film before now but if this is your first time hearing about it then you are in for a treat as the first trailer for the film has been released and we have it just a little bit further down the page. I won't hold you Hitman fans back any longer. Read More...

All of the DLC in the Season Pass for Dying Light has been detailed with a few release windows added so you know who you spent the money Dying Light has been out and the tires have been kicked a bit more by the gaming community. Techland has addressed a few issues and are even trying to help the modding community with altering the game further for the PC. Not for those pesky PS4 and Xbox One players though but that is the troubles console players have to take. All of that said, that means it is DLC SEASON for Dying Light now that the developers can focus more there instead of on patching the game. Read More...

The opening cinematic for Tekken 7 has been released for all to see as the launch looms ever closer in Japan and the World Tekken 7 will be hitting the arcades of Japan next week and there will be lines as long as the arcades will allow to play the game. New gameplay for The Order: 1886 has surfaced online for all to watch and see how pretty The Order: 1886 is going to be without many spoilers Get ready as some of the most boring gameplay for The Order: 1886 has been "leaked" online and is available to watch. It looks to be at least 11 minutes of some of the story portion of the game but don't worry about spoilers unless you speak what sounds to be Italian. Or I guess can read Italian as the whole bit of gameplay uses the spoken and written language in the options. Not to mention that the commentator for the video also seems to be speaking the same language over. Read More...

Bethesda announced today that they will be holding their own press conference at E3 2015 but with no details about what will be shown It looks like Bethesda wants in on all of the E3 fun of hosting their own press conference as the publisher just announced on their blog that they would be doing just that. No longer will they be held to just a booth and a kick-ass off site party/get-together at E3. They will be taking a stage and showing off what they have in the works for the coming years and most likely announcing a few things we all may have been wanting for a while. Read More...

It was announced today that Shadow Realms is being canceled so BioWare Austin can focus on other franchises and IPs including Star Wars If there has been a game as of late with many ups and downs in terms or cancellations it has been Shadow Realms. It is this fact that I personally have stayed a little guarded when it came to the game as rumors about cancellations of the project by BioWare and/or EA have been all over the place shortly after the official announcement near the end of last year. I am kind of glad that I kept myself a bit distanced from Shadow Realms now as the game has been officially canceled by BioWare Austin and EA. Sad news for some and kind of background noise for others who were like me and didn't get too close to have felt the horrible sting of the cancellation. Read More...

DmC: Definitive Edition is getting Vergil's Bloody Palace mode and we have a few new details on what this mode will include for the DmC fans out there Apparently Vergil's Bloody Palace was one of the biggest requests that fans of DmC had for the DmC: Definitive Edition. Ninja Theory heard that request and it is in the game. This is not a huge secret as it was listed in the additions for the DmC: Definitive Edition coming to the Xbox One and PS4 on March 10th. There were just very few details if it was going to be more than just another character playing through the same mode that was already in the game to start with. Read More...
