Ten new tracks have been added to Rock Band 4's on disk listing with some obscure bands and other favorites sure to make Rock Band 4 amazing October 6th is getting closer every day and that means Rock Band 4 is getting closer and closer to launch too. We've already had a wide spread of songs revealed for the game from Harmonix and today we have a few more. Ten more Rock Band 4 songs to be exact and these of course are going to be on the disc and not DLC tracks. This puts at about 44 songs on the Rock Band 4 disc by my count and that is ignoring all of the DLC we will have to carry over to the PS4 and Xbox One when that release date finally comes. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games down and many, many more to go. Even if this week was a bit on the roller coaster ride that we usually use to describe weeks that occur before major conventions. PAX Prime is coming up so I am sure that all of the other big announcements and reveals will happen then. That's not saying we didn't have some great stuff for Until Dawn, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Mad Max this week. Hells, we also had one of the best announcements for Kingdom Heart III with Big Hero 6 getting its time in the sun when that game finally hits the market. Read More...

A gameplay demo for Resident Evil 0 Remaster from E3 has been finally released for the world to see and compare how far the upgrades are bringing the game It seems weird to be talking about this now but we have the E3 demo of Resident Evil 0 Remaster live and ready for all of you to view. It only took Capcom about two months and a few conventions to finally allow this footage of the demo out to the world but at least we have it. Up until now most of us only had the Resident Evil 0 Remaster E3 trailer to look at in terms of visuals and how the game may have been upgraded for the next gen systems. Now we have one of the community poorly playing through the ten minute demo just for us to see Resident Evil 0 Remaster. Read More...

A new update for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight has been detailed and it looks like it will be a few more weeks until a true status update If you are one of those PC gamers out there still waiting for Batman: Arkham Knight to be playable or purchasable again then this is an update for you. It's not the best of updates as Warner Bros. states that there will be a few more weeks before the current patch that just went into testing will be issued out for current owners of Batman: Arkham Knight. The 'indefinitely' canceled Street Fighter V beta test looks to be back on in the form of a stress test in your region soon If you were over joyed to get in on the Street Fighter V beta test only to be let down when it was terminated then it is time for you to get over joyed again as it looks like it is coming back to a region near you as soon as today. Yes, it looks like Capcom is going to try it again this time in the say of "Stress Test" starting in Europe and then moving out to North America and Asia if all is successful. Then a global test for Street Fighter V sometime after all of that if things go smooth on all sides. Read More...

It has just been announced that stealth-action game République will be making its way onto the PS4 with all five episodes If you have not heard of République yet then you are most likely a console gamer and are missing out on many PC and Mac only titles; or iOS and Android at that. Before you click away here though you better read on as it looks like République is coming to the PS4 next year in the remastered state that Camouflaj has already released. Well at least in terms of releasing the four of the five episodes out on Steam for République so far. Yes, this is another episodic title that we can all look forward to next year on the PS4 from GungHo Online. Read More...

New gameplay for XCOM 2 has been released and it focuses on the strategy elements of XCOM 2 as well as living in a big ass ship You wanted more gameplay for XCOM 2. Well now you are getting more gameplay for XCOM 2. The only thing is that we are not getting the turn-based gameplay but the strategy stuff that Firaxis Games is taking great care into allowing us to micromanage every little aspect of XCOM 2 with. Just what all of us were looking for with the franchise as it moves on from its better titles and leave the crummier ones in the dust. XCOM fans can be so harsh it is kind of a surprise that 2K Games was going to take another chance but I guess they think they will appease all of you. Read More...

Looks like the rumors from March are now true as PlayStation is allowing members to sign up to beta test new firmware for the PS4 Way back in March of this year rumors started springing up that PlayStation users would be getting a firmware beta program for the PS4. Nothing was concrete and set in stone back then as this was all based on a few emails and screen shots that could have been faked. Well it turns out they were not faked as right now PS4 owners who want to give new firmware a try can sign up to beta test on their systems. Because this is apparently a thing that PS4 owners have wanted so their Xbox One buddies would stop having something to gloat about. Read More...

A new promotional video for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been released teasing that we will get the answers we've waited decades for It's a little crazy to think that we've been playing Metal Gear Solid games for almost thirty years. Twenty eight to be exact and it has been one hell of a ride that Kojima has taken us on over the years. I guess that will make the ending of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain much more emotional as it will be an end to a rather lengthy run. Konami has said they want to keep the franchise rolling but The Phantom Pain will be the end of the franchise with the man who started it all. Read More...

Nothing in way of new gameplay or new features that Disney is going to have to share but it looks like we have another world to add to the announcement of Tangled. A new gameplay video for Until Dawn has been released to show more teenage death, horror, and the butterfly effect we'll play with in Until Dawn As if yesterday's installment of teenage death and terror from Until Dawn wasn't enough we have yet another trailer for the game. Only this time it is a gameplay trailer for Until Dawn and not a live action one. It also happens to touch upon the butterfly effect again as this is something that Supermassive Games has been pushing since Until Dawn was changed over to a PS4 title. At least to my memory. Batman: Arkham Knight is getting a few updates for the Season Pass DLC and it looks like we are getting Tim Burton's Batmobile and the Tumbler in the future Batman: Arkham Knight has been out for a while now and there have been some good updates for it so far. Last I heard the PC version was still having issues over the PS4 and Xbox One versions but that is not why we are here today. What we are here for is the fact that there is a new batch of DLC being pumped out for Batman: Arkham Knight and it looks like we are getting some amazing additions in the way of skins and Riddler Caves. In this instance we are getting the Batmobile from the 1989 Tim Burton films. Read More...

A new story trailer for the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has been released as well as a few of the new additions to all the versions of Uncharted in the collection Looks what seems to have been unearthed here. It looks like we have a story trailer for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for those who may not have played any of the Uncharted titles before and want a crash course. It could also before any of those fans out there who are looking to pick up Bluepoint Games' version of the Uncharted franchise on the PS4 and want to have a quick refresher before it launches. Although as it will be hitting the PS4 on October 9th here it would seem like you have plenty of time to replay the original versions of Uncharted before the big, bulky version that is the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection lands.
