A new story trailer for Dying Light: The Following has been released to give us a feel for the tone that Dying Light: The Following will take us through in the new expansion Looks like it is time to have a look at the story coming at us for Dying Light: The Following. At least to have a look at it in a different way as this is the second story-like trailer for this expansion that Techland has pumped out for Dying Light: The Following in my count. Only this time it looks like we are going to have to deal with more of a cult-ish style of mentality in the world of Dying Light over the survivalist mentality that plagued many of us more than the zombies. We'll all know for sure on February 9th when Dying Light: The Following lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC though. Read More...

The open beta for Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 kicks off next week for the console players and it will give us all a nice look at Garden Warfare 2's new Heroes and much more If February 23rd is too far off for you to play Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 then you can try to get in on the ground floor of the game as PopCap Games is bringing us all a multiplayer beta next week. In fact it will be running from the 14th to the 18th of next week as long as you are looking to play Garden Warfare 2 on your PS4 and/or Xbox One. All of you PC players will have to wait it out longer but at least you won't have to experience all of the bugs that may still be in Garden Warfare 2 on the software side or the server side. The first screenshot for Outlast 2 has been released to show how evolved the gameplay will be in Outlast 2 over its predecessor It has been a few months since we had a nice teaser for Outlast 2 and some form of update on the game progress in development from Red Barrels. As we roll into 2016 we are most likely going to get a whole lot more on this amazing horror game that is still slated for a Halloween release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For now though it looks like we are going to have to deal with just a nice little screenshot from the game to keep our blood boiling and ready for Outlast 2 in some form. Or you know; you can just go play Outlast again and get a good fright. Read More...

A new pre-order card for Homefront: The Revolution found in Target might have just given us a look at when Homefront: The Revolution may be releasing this year It has yet to be completely confirmed but we may have a release date for Homefront: The Revolution. At least if the pre-order card for the game at Target is correct and Dambuster Studios is about to wrap up their development cycle on the game. As it looks the release date for Homefront: The Revolution could be May 17th of this year for the at least the Xbox One but if true I think it would be safe to assume that it would be the same for the PS4 and PC versions of Homefront: The Revolution. It would make sense. Read More...

A new custom-made zombie thrill ride for Dying Light has been made available for all to experience in the PC version of Dying Light Looks like the Dying Light train is still rolling and rolling strong. Especially when it comes to the "modding" community that are using those developer tools that Techland has given all of the PC Dying Light players out there. It has gone so far as to allow for some great new custom maps and experiences to be crafted in Dying Light. Now we have one that has impressed not only the community but also the developers that it is now free and available for all. Read More...

The pre-orders for the Oculus Rift are up and running and it looks like we will be getting an Oculus Rift in home by the end of March or early April The wait is now over for the Oculus Rift…to some extent. Pre-orders are now live over on their site and we now have a price and an expected release window for this year. That would be sometime around the end of March or early April depending on who you hear from. As of this writing mine is stating that it will ship in April of 2016 but I have seen others claim sometime in March. Read More...

More information leaked for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan in the way of Xbox One Achievements but still no official word on Mutants In Manhattan even being in development This seems like it is going to be a running joke for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan as we have yet another "leak" of information but no acknowledgement from any of the parties claimed to be involved on if it really is a game. It's been a few months since rumor started up that Platinum Games and Activision were working on Mutants In Manhattan but even now that we have a list of Achievements for the Xbox One version of the game we still have no one jumping out into the open and declaring TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan to be more than just a fan pipedream. Yes, you read that. Read More...

Hitman: Agent 47 has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Hitman: Agent 47 Here we go with yet another film based on a video game here with Hitman: Agent 47. Originally it released in theaters on August 21st of 2015 but the home version of the film has finally been released and I had a chance to sit back and take in this rendition of Io Interactive's Hitman franchise. The previous installment wasn't accepted greatly by the fans of the video game but Hitman: Agent 47 looks like it gets a few things right from the onset. But looks can be deceiving. Read More...

The release date for Final Fantasy XV is still a guarded secret but it looks like we may find out Final Fantasy XV's release date sometime in March of this year The release date for Final Fantasy XV has and will still be a huge topic until we finally find out when the game is landing on the PS4 and Xbox One. In fact over the holiday break most of us just had it looks like Square Enix and Hajime Tabata gave us at least the year that Final Fantasy XV will be landing in. That would for certain be 2016. The release date for Scalebound has been pushed back to 2017 now as the team working on Scalebound wants to be able to deliver their visions perfectly and not just to get a game out If Scalebound was on your radar for an amazing RPG experience on the Xbox One it looks like you are going to have to wait a bit longer to get it as the game has now been hit with delays. It looks like PlatinumGames has huge plans for Scalebound and having it out sometime in 2016 just isn't going to allow them the time to blow our minds with the game. Now it looks like 2017 is going to be the sweet year that we are going to get to see Scalebound in all of its dragon-y glory sadly but it could be well worth the wait. Read More...

A new rumor for Assassin’s Creed has popped up and it indicates that there may not be a new installment to the Assassin’s Creed franchise this year as the dev team is 'revamping' the game As the new year has begun there are generally a few things we can look forward to like the yearly release of a new Assassin’s Creed title and rumors abound to get the blood flowing. Looks like this year we may be starting off with more rumor and possibly no new Assassin’s Creed title as this little nugget points to Ubisoft not bringing us another title; at least this year. Aren't rumors fun? Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with our last week in video games and we tried to end on a bang. Even during the times when video game news is slim to nil we brought you what we could. It was a lot of Rise Of The Tomb Raider and Friday The 13th news but we also had a nice review out there for Amplitude. Also the fluff of free PlayStation and Xbox games coming early next year. All sorts of great video games and news to go along with them. Read More...

The year has ended and video games need listing so here is our top list of video games that released during 2015 or at least concluded during the year It has been one great year in video games with a lot of great releases. There have also been a few great stinkers over the year but because I am feeling a bit saucy over here I think it is time to give out the list of best video games encountered over the year. In fact the top eleven video games that I experienced and in some cases reviewed. We could have copped out and done a basic top ten list but who wants something half-assed? Read More...

The list of free video games hitting the PlayStation and Xbox systems in the new year have been released and there are some great video games included in the mix As we near the end of the year the news and updates on our video games usually runs a bit dry. Everyone is either at home playing their favorite video games or not currently working on anything as the season pretty much dictates now. Thankfully though it looks like the new list of free games coming to the PlayStation and Xbox platforms have been revealed for the next year and it looks like both companies are starting our new year off with a band with a slew of free games to be had. Of course to get your mitts on these free games you need to be a current PS Plus or Xbox Gold member but in today's day who isn't by now. Read More...
