LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has just been announced and coming later this year to further expand the Star Wars universe in a way that only LEGO can do We all figured it was coming but now we have an official announcement for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I would have thought that TT Games would have tried to get this out closer to the release of the film to try and capitalize on all of that at the time but it just wasn't in the cards I guess. Maybe Warner Bros. couldn't secure the needed materials to make LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens back then. Read More...

A new trailer for Street Fighter V has made its way out and shows off all of the launch modes that will be included in Street Fighter V once the game goes live If you thought that Street Fighter V was going to be some basic fighting game where there was only one way to play over and over then you were mostly wrong. I say mostly as it looks like Capcom has released another new trailer for Street Fighter V that shows off all of the different modes of gameplay that will be coming when the game launches on February 16th for the PC and PS4. The mostly kicks in when you see that all of them are the same match system in Street Fighter V only with different outcomes and scores at the end. Read More...

During PAX South Friday The 13th: The Game was shown off to the crowd a bit more and we were able to see how many of Friday The 13th's incarnations of Jason we will get I am pretty sure that most of you who have clicked in here know what Jason Voorhees looks like from Friday The 13th. It is a pretty icon look and killer for us all to know. Of course that is for the film franchise and not Friday The 13th: The Game that Gun Media is still aiming to get to us sometime this Fall for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

New gameplay footage for Final Fantasy XV has been released and it looks like Final Fantasy XV is deviating a bit more from the formula we once knew We had a nice look at some of the stealth action coming for Final Fantasy XV in the near future already but during the last Active Time Report over the weekend we had some new gameplay footage that shows all of that have a huge change since last we knew. Square Enix still hasn't fully defined out for us all on how it will fully play out when all is said and done but those who have played the early demo of Final Fantasy XV on the PS4 or the Xbox One may be seeing things altered a bit more. In fact it looks like the team is trying to make the game open for even non-fans of the franchise here. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This week in video games did start out on a somber note but then things escalated quickly. I'm talking about the delay announcement at the start of the week and then a whole slew of new games like Conan Exiles and Song Of The Deep getting full announcements. We even were able to put a nail in the announcement of TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan and sit back and wait for that to come out now. All kinds of great news in video games and we haven't even made it into the bulk of PAX South that is going on right now. Read More...

The season pass for The Division has been announced and offers up gamers three major expansions for The Division post-launch as well as other goodies The beta for The Division is now fully underway and it looks like there are going to be some extras to be able to get for those who fall in love with the game based on just this beta. Of course these won't be free extras as that isn't usually the case with games like this or out of Ubisoft but a whole bunch of extras in the way of a Season Pass for The Division. That or you can see it as three different expansion packs for the game that will be released after the main title hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 8th. Read More...

More gameplay for Far Cry Primal has been unleashed online and it gives us all a good look at the opening events of Far Cry Primal as well as some of the systems we'll soon experience Far Cry Primal is just under a month out from hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and if you are like me you can't wait for February 23rd to get here already. Since its announcement it has looked like Ubisoft has put a lot of care and effort into making Far Cry Primal be the best title to hit the franchise. Especially since most titles out there in the same vein all revolve around badass marines or who has the best fire power. Read More...

The latest Hellblade developer diary has been released and it shows off some of the great work that has been done on Hellblade's movements and controls Here we go with yet another developer diary for Hellblade and this time we are looking at how the movement and controls for the game have been specially crafted by Ninja Theory. It may not sound like it would be that impressive but given the size of the team and what we get to see here you may be singing a different tune. Hopefully you remember that the Hellblade team is still on the small side and with only two animators here. Read More...

Conan Exiles has been announced today and it looks to further the lore and world of the IP on PC and Console as Conan Exiles takes us on an open-world adventure It looks like we all will be heading back into Hyboria here soon as Conan Exiles has just been announced and prepping to do just that. Just in case Age Of Conan didn't give you that fix as of yet, Funcom is working on another entry into the franchise only this time in the way of an open-world multiplayer experience. Not just for PC this time but Conan Exiles looks to be heading to the consoles as well. Read More...

Another title from Insomniac has been announced called Song Of The Deep and we have the first trailer for Song Of The Deep as well as how this game will be played out It looks like Insomniac Games has been working on more than we thought over since their last major release as now we have another title from them on the way in form of Song Of The Deep. This is a brand new IP for them in the gameplay style of "Metroidvania" that takes place in an underwater setting where we follow the tale of Merryn who is trying to find her father who is lost in the depths of the sea. Not a horrible kind of setting for Song Of The Deep although I will say the tease and name did lead me to think we were going to see a horror game but first impressions are not always correct. The third major enhancement for Dying Light has been revealed and now we are getting a Nightmare Mode for Dying Light with its own bonuses and drawbacks If you thought Dying Light was getting too easy over the last year then you may have something to look forward to for the next major update coming to the game. If you are just in for a huge challenge though then this may also be for you as Techland is bringing us a new difficulty mode for Dying Light in terms of "Nightmare Mode." Another trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's upcoming Awakening DLC has been released and we are fully introduced to Black Ops 3's first chapter of Zombies DLC The date is almost here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's first major DLC and the start of the new Zombies adventure. February 2nd at least for all of those PS4 owners out there as the Xbox One and PC gamers need to wait another month, most likely, to get their taste of where Treyarch is taking the zombie story line. Well at least that is the wait until they can experience it live in Black Ops 3 and not just in trailer form. As of right now all of us out there can see what is ready for us to shoot down as we re-tackle Der Eisendrache in Black Ops 3. Read More...

An online co-op mode for Homefront: The Revolution has been shown off and the first details of Homefront's new missions based co-op mode have also surfaced with it Our first look at Homefront: The Revolution's online co-op mode called "Resistance Mode" has finally come. It isn't a huge shock that Dambuster Studios was going to add a multiplayer mode into Homefront here but now we have a nice little look at how some of the 12 missions for the game will play out. That of course being 12 missions just for the online co-op as the full version of Homefront: The Revolution hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 17th is slated to hold a massive 30 hours of solo gameplay to be enjoyed. For the most part these new missions for Homefront: The Revolution that are to be played co-op are aimed toward helping players perfect their "game" and level up but it also sounds like there is a bit more to it. New information for Umbrella Corps has been released and it details a solo mode for Umbrella Corps as well as a few RE4 and RE5 inspired locations to fight in So far Umbrella Corps has had the focus placed on the multiplayer aspect of the game. It has all been a lot of "What would Resident Evil have been like from the side of the trained military group from Umbrella and other corporation vying over the bio-weapons" kind of thing so far. Well it looks like Capcom isn't going to have only that kind of gameplay in Umbrella Corps when it lands in May for the PS4 and PC. In fact there is now a new mode for the game called "The Experiment" that is all about the solo play of Umbrella Corps and how that can pan out. Read More...
