A new character for SoulCalibur VI is revealed here with Azwel and he is also new to the SoulCalibur franchise in general One more fighter has joined the ranks of SoulCalibur VI and it is Azwel. If you are not familiar with this character, do not fret. This is a completely new character for the franchise that Bandai Namco has put together for us to expand not only the roster here, but also that of the SoulCalibur franchise. Finally another new one that is not just a crossover character or a twist on an original character of some sorts. I will take it and now have more to look forward to on October 19th when the game drops on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

We have a new look at how the action for Spider-Man was set up and captured as well as a timeline on when all of the DLC for Spider-Man will come at us It looks like we have a one-two punch worth of updates here for Spider-Man just over a week out from its launch on the PS4. One is a bit of a behind the scenes look at how Insomniac Games set up all of the action for the game, including that massive Raft fight from E3, and the other bit is to tell us when we can expect all of that DLC after September 7th. If you were worried that you were going to have to wait a long time after completing Spider-Man's main story, then you will be glad to know that we will be deep in the webs of the DLC almost as fast as the game is coming up. Almost… To kick things off here, we have a look at the motion capture and storyboarding techniques the studio used when trying to recapture the fun and feel of Spider-Man in the game. Read More...

The release date for Battlefield V has been pushed to November to allow for more feedback from the Battlefield V beta and other reasons There is going to be a bit of a longer wait for Battlefield V as the official release date for the game is now set to November 20th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. For those keeping track, that is a whole month longer that we will have to wait to see what DICE has for us in this new game. That is unless you are taking part in the Open Beta, which kicks off on September 6th. Read More...

A new video for Fallout 76 is here to show off how we will build our own C.A.M.P. in Fallout 76 to survive and over-inflate our egos It is time to add one more of those animated films for Fallout 76 to the list as we have a look at how the C.A.M.P. system will work in the game. At least in terms of what we can assume as it is not solid gameplay and more promotional stuff from Bethesda. It is a little odd that this is all we are getting as of late, but it is what it is. At the very least we have a look at how we will be able to set up locations for ourselves in Fallout 76 to head back to, rest, craft, and then defend from the rest of those players out there. We sit down and review Strange Brigade. A Co-Op romp through a very strange and mystical world. Here is our review of Strange Brigade The time has come for us to take on the world with the Strange Brigade. Not only the name of the organization we will be playing a part of but also the latest title to come from Rebellion in the way of a Co-Op third-person shooter. It has had a rather fast turnaround time from announcement to launch and that has cast some weirdness on Strange Brigade since. At least from some of the gaming community. Read More...

New gameplay for Biomutant was shown off during Gamescom and it highlights more of Biomutant’s creation system and procedural level set ups It looks like we have all been good little beings out there as we have been gifted with more to look at for Biomutant after Gamescom here. I am pretty sure that this is not the case as Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic are looking to get more information on the game out there to get more pre-sales, but it was a nice way to start it all off here. Given that Biomutant does not hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC until 2019 they do have a bit of time to get things wrapped up for development as well as get us all excited. That is where we are coming in as we have a whole lot of gameplay to look at and pine through as of right now. Read More...

The release date for Devil May Cry 5 is now set and we have a whole lot more gameplay for Devil May Cry 5 to sift through It has barely been a few months since we first heard that Devil May Cry 5 was indeed going to be a thing and now we are here with a solid release date for the game. Granted, Capcom will not be dropping the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC until next year, but it is a date we can look toward now and wait for. That all said, we can expect to see Devil May Cry 5 on our gaming shelves on March 8th of 2019. Read More...

A plethora of gameplay is here for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as well as a few new looks at the heroes and monsters added into the Assassin’s Creed lore I hope that you are ready for a whole lot of new gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as that is what we have gathered up here fresh from Gamescom. The event may be done and gone, but that does not mean that Ubisoft did not have a whole lot to show off out at the event in terms of the two protagonists and the gameplay demo that was out there for fans and media. In fact, the demo also showed off more of the end game content we will have to contend with when it comes to truly completing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey before all of the DLC starts to drop and fills our time until 2020 when the next one will most likely be dropping. A new gameplay video for World War Z is here and it focuses on the massive and dynamic swarm simulations that World War Z will have within Love it or hate it, World War Z the film gave us a great visual on how the undead swarms can move and attack in a realistic style. There is little doubt on that and I am guessing this is why Saber Interactive has placed some great focus on this part of their game and engine they are working with when it comes to the video game version of it all. There is something terrifying about seeing hundreds of undead sprinting at you and you have limited weapons and ammo. That is why I am glad to see it a huge focal point in World War Z here for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

See the opening minutes of Life Is Strange 2 here and ass how much heavier this addition to Life Is Strange will be starting off It looks like we do not need to wait until September 27th to see how Life Is Strange 2 is going to start off. That is unless you want to walk into DontNod's next installment completely in the dark. I say this as it looks like we have the first twenty minutes of Life Is Strange 2's first episode here to look at and take in. Obviously, if you move forward with everything here you know you are walking into spoilers for the game's story. Read More...

The gameplay demo for Cyberpunk 2077 that many have not seen yet has just been released and now you can see just what Cyberpunk 2077 has for us So much hype has been built around Cyberpunk 2077 and most of the public has not seen much more than a short trailer and a few screenshots. I am not saying that the hype is unfounded as what I was able to spy out at E3 was truly amazing and it made me ready for what CD Projekt RED was building here for us all. Maybe you read my breakdown or maybe you did not. It was your loss if you missed out as the excitement for Cyberpunk 2077 has been building even though it was all clouded in mystery. Read More...

A new “Just The Facts” for Spider-Man is here and this one focuses in on the relationships Spider-Man will have to protect in the game Another promotional video for Spider-Man has made its way out to the internet today and it focusing on the relationships that Spidey will have and need to protect in the game. On both sides of the coin as well as he has some relationships with a few of the villains in the game as well as his usual cast of characters that he keeps his secret from. Although in past videos it does look like Insomniac Games has offered up that secret to a few more than before and we will have to deal with that too. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week in video games is about done but it will still rage on as Gamescom still flows out there. We have a whole lot more for the event to bring you here and we already had so much to show you. More for the upcoming Spider-Man, a little more for Darksiders III, the same footage for a few other games we had behind closed doors at E3, and much more. More like news on two Cthulhu video games in terms of The Sinking City and Call Of Cthulhu. Read More...
