Time To Wake Up
The launch for Time To Wake Up is finally here, and we have one more look at why it is Time To Wake Up
We have been working towards waking up and getting out there to experience Time To Wake Up, and now that day is finally here. The full launch of the game is ready for us to experience and see if the new blinking mechanic that Eye Blink Twice has been working on will work when we play the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. An experience that could help shape future walking simulation titles out there, if Time To Wake Up kicks off the fun that we all think it might. That all said, some of you might not know about the game as of yet, and that's why we are back with one more update to go along with this fun little announcement. Let's have a look and see just what this title is going to offer up to us all if we do want to wake up from our gaming slumbers.
Those of you who might have forgotten what Time To Wake Up is up to now, not that we haven't kept you up to date on it all- let's dig into that just for you so you can figure out if you want to give this game a go. It's a new first-person psychological thriller title where we find ourselves stuck in an endless dream. One that seems to bring us back to our school years and can fill us with so many doubts along the way. We're also not alone in the state, which is a bit more concerning for our sanity. That's where we're going to need to traverse some of the memories we've had in Time To Wake Up by wandering about, solving puzzles, and using the blinking mechanic to shift reality as we need it. This could be moving objects or shifting the whole world in general. All to further along the puzzle-solving and trying not to fall into the horrors of school again. We're going to need to avoid all of those classmates out there, after all. Here's one last look at the game to see if it's going to be your jam when all is said and done.
Time To Wake Up — Launch Trailer
Time To Wake Up is a first-person psychological thriller in which you find yourself stuck in a dream one night. No worries, though. You are not alone.
You hear a voice that is fond of your eyes. Willing to help you out, you both set out to uncover what happened back in school. Will you blink your way out, or will you succumb to the shadows of your past?
Key Features:
- Blinking Is Thinking – Your eyes are the key out of this maze of memories. Blink and change your surroundings, switch and reset moving elements, flood whole rooms, or turn them around.
- Surreal Madness – Alan’s obsession with this book translates into an environment that won’t allow you to leave. Do you think you can manage?
- Traverse Your Memories – Time To Wake Up takes you through surreal school environments. Imagine dim-lit libraries, perplexing playgrounds, toilets with twists and turns, and more.
- You’re Not Alone – In this dream, you hear a voice that will not only help you remember what happened, but also actively open doors for you (yes, also literally).
- Avoid Your Classmates – Nothing good comes out of their staring presence piercing through your eyes. Blink and make sure not to cross paths.
Will it be Time To Wake Up for you now that the game has launched? Will there be more than just wandering about the world and blinking our eyes? How hard will it be to avoid all of our classmates in these memories? Will there be a limit to how often we can blink to move things around, or will it be as often as we like? How dark will the ending of this story go when we finally confront what is truly haunting us out there? Let's have that discussed out in the comments further down the page here. We'll have more, and our review for Time To Wake Up up on the site very soon. You'll want to keep on watching the site for all of those updates and the many other things we'll have to share along the way. Follow all of our socials to see when those go live, as well, so you're not left out of any of the fun that will be ready to enjoy.
