More gameplay for Barkour is here from the Tokyo Game Show to show off another land we will explore in Barkour
It's time to pack another bag, and get ready for a different mission that is coming when Barkour launches later this year. Not that our hero pup wouldn't already be packed up for this, but here we go with a new look at another area of the world that VARSAV will be sending us to in the game. Fitting that it was shown off at this year's Tokyo Game Show, as this new mission takes us to Japan to thwart whatever is going on there, along with giving us some very themed cosmetics to play around with in Barkour. Some very stereotypical costumes for our pooch, but still, something fun for us to use in the mix of fighting ninjas and samurai in the lands of the Far East. Let's have a little look at what that's going to all entail.
As you'll be able to see in the following video for Barkour, we are going to have a few Japanese-themed locations and enemies to handle in the wild. By name and basic descriptions, you'll be able to tell what they will look like in the game before you see them in action just a bit further down the page. We'll have those samurai and ninjas, even if they do look a bit more on the robot side of things than the human versions. Then there are the pagodas and all of the lanterns we'll be using; all of our parkour skills around in Barkour, along with all of the tech we have. That's in addition to the 3 new costumes that we'll have in the new lands. A Samurai, a Ninja, and a Kitsune-style outfit for our hero to don. You can have a look at all of that in the following video, and I'm certain it's going to look about as much as you have imagined already. Not a terrible thing, but interesting that they are leaning into the stereotypes this hard.
