There has been a lot of build-up to the events we are going to get in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, as well as a lot of years between titles. I mean, Activision and Infinity Ward pump out a game each year, and they do stagger the bits that they show off for the campaign of the game when it comes to story. You would not be blamed if you did not know the full story up to now, and before we dive into the events of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 when it launches on October 23^rd for everyone out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. That is why it is always nice to get a solid little recap to see where we are in the grand scheme of things in the IP. Okay, so saying this is all of the events of the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare line to lead to this does feel a bit misleading. This feels quite a bit more from just the third game than the whole new run of games that have the Modern Warfare tag to it. It is also interesting to see all of the events that did transpire, but there is little context for how it is going to build into the larger story we are going to experience next month. I am sure there is a way, and hopefully more than just linking characters between all of it, to get us there. Even if it is interesting to see that we only really need two minutes of a recap to get us to the point we are ready for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 as of now. I am sure there are a lot longer recaps for those who need all of the lore, but this is the important stuff, it would seem.
