No Return Address Offers Up A New Night Shift Job For Us To Power Through

No Return Address

A new psychological horror warehouse game, No Return Address, is on the way to us and here is a teaser for what No Return Address will bring

It seems like gamers just can't get enough of those job simulations out there, and now we have another on the way with No Return Address. Although this one is another of the horror flavor when it comes to the warehouse workers, so that does mean that ASK GAMES is doing more than just having us work a virtual job on the PC. We'll still have to do some of that, but just like other titles like it, No Return Address will have some other disturbing things going on out there. I'm going to also guess that there will be something else that is keeping us locked into the job too, as it would always be easier to just leave right from the start. Even if that would mean that there would be no game for us to play.

As it all seems to go in No Return Address, we are going to be tasked with something that seems rather easy from the start, but will turn sinister fairly quickly. That task, well, it's sorting through packages to make certain the proper ones go out, and the strange ones get sorted away from the world. We'll need to make sure we make as few mistakes as possible, as those will have some bigger consequences over time. Seeing as many of the weird packages will look fairly obvious in No Return Address, it's hard to tell how difficult a task this will truly be. This is only a teaser for the full game, so it might start rather subtly, or lead to us needing to allow random voodoo dolls through the process. We'll have to wait and see, but we do have the teaser for it all just a little bit down the page.

No Return Address — Teaser

The night shift at the distribution center was supposed to be just another routine job. Check the packages, sort them, and don’t make mistakes: send the ordinary ones forward, and move the strange ones to reject. But before long, the boxes begin to contain things that should never be there. Each new discovery builds tension, and the familiar routine slowly turns into something far more disturbing.

You have to keep working, make decisions, and avoid confusing the ordinary with the things that should never be sent any further. Every choice affects how the night unfolds, while random discoveries and different outcomes make each playthrough feel unique.

No Return Address is a psychological horror game where fear grows out of simple work, human error, and the feeling that something extra has found its way into the center tonight.

Features:

  • Simple and intuitive sorting mechanics
  • Tension that grows with every new box
  • Different events and outcomes based on your decisions
  • Random elements that change each playthrough
  • A short atmospheric horror experience with a strong sense of unease

How does No Return Address stack up with what you were expecting in a horror game? Will we need to keep an eye out for more mundane items as the game progresses? How many boxes will we need to go through before we finally make it to the end of the shift? What will be keeping us locked into the job and not just running for the hills? Let's have that discussion in the comment section down the page here. It looks like things are only starting for No Return Address, so expect us to have all that we can for the game going forward. I'm guessing that we'll have a full look at the game soon, now that we have the teaser out there. It is coming from a smaller team, so it can be up in the air.
