A release date is finally set for Twisted Tower, as the wait will be over for Twisted Tower this coming August
It feels as if it's been a bit of time since we had anything to share for Twisted Tower, but we're back with it. Back and with a release date for the game to land on the PC out there. After giving Atmos Games all of the time to work on the game, 3D Realms is ready to ship the game out there on August 18th. Just under the three-year point from when Twisted Tower was announced to us all. A great way to get started with all of the horror out there that is coming with this new first-person shooting title that seems to be blending fairytales with all manner of other nightmares that have taken over. We'll know for certain in just over a month when it launches out there.
Given the gap of time since we first heard about Twisted Tower and now, let's have a bit of a recap for the game. As mentioned, it's a first-person shooter title that will have us exploring an abandoned 1950s resort that looks to have pulled inspiration from BioShock and Disney World, just without the need to snag the IP agreements. From there, we are going to need to go on a shooting rampage of survival in Twisted Tower to make sure that none of the horrors inside lead us all to an early grave. Not to mention, free the corrupted fairy tale creatures from the nightmares that they find themselves in. All while running, gunning, jumping, and many other things in this new twisted land. Twisted Tower — Release Date
Step right up! Saber Interactive’s 3D Realms publishing label and indie developer Atmos Games have revealed that Twisted Tower, the action-adventure FPS set in an abandoned 1950s theme park straight out of your nightmares, will launch on August 18 for PC via Steam. Battle legions of corrupted fairy-tale mascots and overcome deadly traps and puzzles to climb the tower and uncover the dark secrets of the past.

From Atmos Games, the indie studio helmed by Thomas Brush, whose prior hits include Pinstripe and Neversong, Twisted Tower splices Disneyland and BioShock together to create a macabre world of mischief and mayhem. A funhouse of silly mascots may be looking for a hug from you, but you'll have a wide range of wacky weaponry to blast them away in fast-paced, hard-hitting action. Survive the ascent through the resort's many worlds, including unique paths to discover on new playthroughs, and see if you've got what it takes to save the love of your life at the top of the Twisted Tower!
