Stray
The Switch 2 launch for Stray is finally out there, and now everyone will have a chance to experience what Stray offers
All you gamers who love cats, which is likely a high percentage, can now lie out a bit more in the sun with the game Stray. More so, the Switch 2 gamers out there who want to take the game that BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive brought to us so long ago, as the game has officially launched on the platform. That should bring the game to every main platform that we game on. At least for games that are as interactive and colorful as Stray is. There's not much more to say than that, as the game has launched on the platform, so you can now help your abandoned cat survive a post-apocalyptic world that is filled with robots and other creatures trying to make sure organic life does not carry forward.
Okay, that was the basics of what Stray has to offer up, in terms of story. The game itself, for those few who are just now learning about the game, is a platformer where you do get to control a cat. A cat that also has a robot friend in a backpack that can talk to other robots that are still wandering about the world. A world that looks as if it hit the cyberpunk era before things turned sideways and human life was removed from the planet. The rest of the gameplay in Stray is just navigating the world, solving a few puzzles, and learning more about where the great food givers have gone to. Along with some solid platforming mechanics that use the real-life cat's motions fairly well to pull all of this off.
Stray — Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Trailer
Stray is available now on PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 1, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Lost, alone, and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find their way home.
Did you have to wait for the Switch 2 to have Stray on it before you could play, or will this just add one more option to how you will be able to play it all? Could all of the platform releases have us building to another title in the IP, or will we always be left wanting more of what this world has to offer? Are you one of those gamers out there who does not like cats as the internet demands we all do, and would you want to see a similar title only with a dog? Let us discuss in the comment section to hash it all out. That is probably all we have to say for Stray, unless the future offers up a sequel. If it does, or there is more, we will have it on the website for you. Watch it all here or on any of our social channels to see when we have all of the extra fun to share.
