SAROS
Learn a bit more about the fun features coming to SAROS when it launches, so we can feel further invested in the world of SAROS
SAROS is still perfectly on track as of now to land on the PS5 this coming April 30th. Let's keep the hopes up that Housemarque is staying on top of all of that, so we can make sure to have another title to add to the growing list for the month. Even if SAROS is going to be one that will be for those playing on the PS5 only. It is what it is, but that does mean that there will be a bit of fun for those gamers. That is, the game is going to be using all of the options available with the hardware to make sure we are as immersed in the gaming world as possible. Not to mention, it looks as if they have found a way to almost eliminate one of those things that seems to drive everyone crazy in the past. Let's have a look at all of those features coming to the game now.
Beyond the basics we can assume for a PS5 game, it does look as if SAROS will be leaning into the 3D Audio, haptic feedback, and various adaptive trigger features. It is almost weird to think that it would not be a standard in any title that is coming to the PS5 in the current state of things. The following video for it all does show off how much fun it could all be, as well as how some of it will feel like it is coming from all angles. The most interesting feature listed for SAROS, though, has to be the "near-instant" loading screens that it is claiming. There's no real signifier on how quickly that will be over other games, but it does sound as if there will be none of those squeezing sections or various other tricks used to hide the fact that things are loading. Unless this is all the new way to market those tactics. There have been many games, even in the PS4 era, where it felt like there were no loading screens, but they were just implementing smart tricks so we never noticed them. I'm sure we will find out soon.

Did you expect SAROS to have many new features that we've never seen before in the game? Should it be expected that all of these features will be in every title coming to the platform at this point? Is this all just fancy marketing to grab our attention to think these are something truly new? Will there be next to no loading screens in the game, and not just a fancy way of hiding them as we've had with other titles? Let's hear it all out in the comment section down the page here. I'm sure this is not the last we're hearing for SAROS before the game launches. When more is out there for us to share, and with some substance, it will be on the site and all of our socials. Just make sure you are following all of them so you don't miss out when the updates are going live.
