A new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is here, and now we get to see how Yoshi will be part of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Many of us knew that Yoshi was on the way to us all in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie that is coming this April 1st, and now we get a chance to see how Yoshi will be part of the new team. Along with that, we have a few other fun nods to the classic Nintendo IP out there that Illumination has been able to slip in. Many more, I am sure, are going to be in the final cut of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, so do not get too worried things will be spoiled here. This one is all about Yoshi and how that might shake things up a little bit out there once our heroes welcome the fun -loving dinosaur into the fold. Even if it does seem like others might not be okay with that from the start…
That all said, there are the normal spoiler warnings needed for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie here, as this does show how the duo meets up with Yoshi in the mix out there. Oddly, as the plumbers are called in to fix a plumbing issue and not to save the day, as is the usual case in the Mushroom Kingdom, but also a clever way to add a little tension for the young ones, while giving a fun character addition in the mix. Along with highlighting various other Easter Eggs for those fans of the Super Mario IP out there. I will not say much more on that to keep any spoilers hidden from those who do not want to watch the latest trailer. Just know, they are not as subtle and will be fun things to see when the film hits theaters out there. We can all wait a few more months for that, right? The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros., and follows The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which was released in 2023 and earned more than $1.3 billion worldwide. Both the 2023 film and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie are produced by Chris Meledandri of Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo.
The film will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and will be released worldwide by Universal Pictures.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is directed by returning filmmakers Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, from a screenplay by returning screenwriter Matthew Fogel, with Brian Tyler returning to compose the score.
