There is still over a month until Marvel Cosmic Invasion lands on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC, so we still have a whole lot of information to dig up for this beat-em-up game. Tribute Games has been known to make some good ones out there, and we will get to see if Dotemu made the correct choice on December 1st for all of this. At least, officially, we will get to see all of that when MARVEL Cosmic Invasion launches out there. For now, we can keep digging into the game to see if it will be more than just a classic-style game with some recognizable characters. Which is just what we have here to look at today, so we can learn about the game, see how it is being made, and some of the other things that might not be visible right from the start.
Just like many of the behind-the-scenes videos we have had over the years, this one takes us into what it has taken to make MARVEL Cosmic Invasion so far. Beyond the pedigree of the studio, and the choices that were made to give us another in the line of Marvel beat-em-titles. Something that does feel like it has been lacking over the years. With this one not digging into a specific team, but the whole of the universe, as Annihilus sets out to bring the universe to an end. All with this Cosmic Invasion going down like the 2005 graphic novel, but with the change of it happening on Earth with the heroes of the 90s. That is why we are seeing more of the classic looks from the era for the characters, and have yet to see any of the characters from the recent years show up. Not a terrible plan, and a great way to hit all of that nostalgia that sells video games out there. Especially to those Marvel nerds who have never been able to make it past the era this is now set in.
