Join In On The Ghost Recon Wildlands Single Player Mission Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
A breakdown of Ghost Recon Wildlands' single player missions has been placed out there giving 22 minutes of new Ghost Recon Wildlands gameplay We've had some pretty good looks at Ghost Recon Wildlands in the past and I am sure we will see a whole lot more as we get closer to March 7th but here we go with yet another one to get us ready to play the single player part of the game here. There is still the multiplayer part coming and heading to beta as Ubisoft is want to do, but here we are to focus on the single player part. Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open-world game after all and even though you will have a squad to control, it should be seen as a huge part of the overall game. Read More…

It's Almost Time To Dominate The Lands Of Conan Exiles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The third developer diary for Conan Exiles has been released and this one focuses on the combat of Conan Exiles as well as how to summon those avatars In just under two weeks Conan Exiles will be moving into early access for those looking to give the game a go on their PC. It is still coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, but Funcom is only giving "the master race" the chance on January 31st for ease of getting some solid responses back to make the game better. That is what these things are supposed to be for and not just a demo of Conan Exiles to generate buzz before launch. That all said here, and back to the buzz, it looks like the third pillar of gameplay has just been shown off so we can all understand how to dominate the game in its many ways. Read More…

Werewolf: The Apocalypse Is Getting The Video Game Treatment Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
It has just been announced that Werewolf: The Apocalypse will be getting its own video game version for us to pretend to be a Werewolf out to save the world It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we were talking about a World Of Darkness MMO coming and then being canceled but now it looks like the universe is being brought back in video game form as we now have Werewolf: The Apocalypse getting the same treatment here. Yes, it looks like Paradox Interactive, the people who own the rights to the IPs, have given way for Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive to give bringing this part of the universe to life and hopefully success. Werewolf: The Apocalypse wouldn't be my own personal choice to come from the WoD here but at least it looks like they are still willing to give it a try and give gamers a taste of the table top games in the realm of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It's Almost Time To Tip The Scales Of War In For Honor's Closed Beta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
New details on For Honor's upcoming closed beta have been revealed and it looks like we'll see nine of For Honor's warriors in action here soon Next week we will see the For Honor closed beta kick off on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC as well as the metagame they are calling the "Faction War." Not a huge secret and people are still holding out hope that they will be in on this beta as Ubisoft still has not sent out confirmations as of the time of this posting on who is in or not. What has just been shared though is just what parts of For Honor we will get to experience in the game here when everything kicks off on January 26th. Read More…

Call Of Cthulhu Shows Us The Depths Of Madness We Will Go To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Call Of Cthulhu has released and we get to see how far Pierce, Call Of Cthulhu's protagonist, will dive into madness Here we go with yet another interesting trailer for the upcoming Call Of Cthulhu game coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year. We've had a few good viewings of the game so far but here we get to see the level of madness that Cyanide Studios is crafting for us here in the game as well as a bit more of the story we will help unfold. Not only that, but as Call Of Cthulhu's character generally go insane no matter the medium you play it in, we also get to see what I am guessing is some of harsher stuff that the game's protagonist will go through as he investigates the weirdness going on in the game's world. Weirdness or madness, either one really works here for all of this. Read More…

Necromunda: Underhive Wars Is The Next Warhammer Title On Its Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Another Warhammer title is in the works with Necromunda: Underhive Wars and it aims to tackle the Necromunda game in a tactical RPG setting Maybe you were sitting around and thinking that we needed another Warhammer 40,000 game out there after the success of Mordheim and that it also need to be set in the Necromunda setting of the classic game. It isn't just you as it looks like Rogue Factor was doing that too and so was Focus Home Interactive as they are working together to bring us yet another title in the universe just as described. Yes, now we have Necromunda: Underhive Wars here to be announced for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on its way due to all that success and also to bring another version of the universe off of the table and into a digital world setting. Get Ready To See The Nine Deaths Of Six In Little Nightmares
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The release date for Little Nightmares has been set and it looks like Little Nightmares is also getting some rather cool bonuses to collect It looks like the date has been set and we now know when Little Nightmares will be hitting our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC. Tarsier Studios has been hard at work to get us a really cool and creepy title to play here and it looks like we will all be diving in and watching Six die, or not, on April 28th here. The or not really refers to your ability to navigate the poor girl through the world of Little Nightmares and make sure she doesn't die and not the actually picking up of the game. It looks like a bunch of great titles we've all loved crammed into one big game with an amazing aesthetic so I'm pretty sure that many of us will at least give the game a try if not full purchase when it finally lands. Perception Is Expanding As It Now Looks Like The Game Will Hit The PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
First-person horror game Perception has just been slated to hit the PS4 as Perception is also slated for a release sometime this year Here we go with yet another video game that you may or may not remember is in the works but is getting an update and that title would be Perception. This would be the game that hit Kickstarter back in 2015 to help get The Deep End Games some funds to build and prosper. It is also the horror game that has us playing as a blind girl who has to use echolocation to move around the game's world to stay alive from all of the supernatural horrors dwelling within now. Now do you remember Perception or do you still need more? Read More…

Three More Warriors Join The Fight In For Honor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Three more heroes coming to For Honor have been shown off for each faction and all look to bring spear fighting to For Honor in their own different ways The full roster of warriors coming to For Honor is almost filled all the way out as we now have three more to add to the ranks. Not a moment too soon either as we are looking at the beta for the game to kick off here in just over a week and then we have the official version coming from Ubisoft on February 14th still. All of these heroes need to have their spotlight and time in the sun before then and time is just running out. Not that I don't think we'll finally get to see and experience them all when For Honor's beta kicks off, but it would be nice to see them all as I'm still going to say that it is a server test and not a beta given that the team would have no time to fix any glaring issues spotted in the two weeks they would have. The Lines Are Being Redrawn For Injustice 2's Factions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
A new story trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped and it shows off the big bad of Injustice 2 as well as quite a few new characters to join the fight We spoke of this yesterday and now we are here with a new look at Injustice 2 and confirmation that Darkseid will be a pre-order bonus mixed in there. What we didn't speak on was the fact that we would be seeing a new story trailer for the game from NetherRealm Studios and many new characters being added into the roster; even though we are still waiting for character breakdowns now. With all of that though, we now know that Injustice 2 is going to ride on from where Injustice left off and then throw in a whole lot of curve-balls to shake up not only the game but the world. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The season pass for Resident Evil 7 has been given a bit more detail for those who want more Resident Evil 7 before the end of the year With only a few more days until Resident Evil 7, we have a lot of excitement and fear to get in check. January 24th is just around the corner and we've seen a whole lot more for the game from Capcom and there is of course still a whole lot more we are only going to get when the game lands. It also looks like three is a whole lot more coming to Resident Evil 7 after it launches and into the rest of the year. More so now that the Season Pass has finally been given a bit more detail to it all to entice us to shell out the little bit extra to be sure we get the full experience here. Read More…

It Looks Like Injustice 2 Will Be Bringing Darkseid In Via DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
It's been spotted via the Injustice 2 pre-order page that Darkseid will be a playable DLC character for Injustice 2 at launch Last week we got official word that Injustice 2 would be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th here. Then we ended the week with a nice little tease from NetherRealm Studios that we would be getting another big reveal this week as well. But before all of that, it looks like we have another "leak" of sorts as the pre-order page for Injustice 2 was spotted listing out another character coming to the game via some day-one DLC for those who pre-order the game. That character has been seen in the first title in a smaller way but now it looks like Darkseid will be mixed into the fight and not just via a level transition animation. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 1/9/17 — 1/13/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 14th of January 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site I don't think there is a gamer out there that can claim this wasn't a huge week for all things video games. There was something for everyone this week; even though some of the news was a sad note for a huge portion of gamers out there. With this I am talking about the cancellation of Scalebound, but at least we had all kinds of great news for the Nintendo Switch, For Honor, and Resident Evil 7 to name a few. We are getting into a lot of fun waters here and a lot of great titles are on their way so we know that things should be getting crazier here. Read More…
