by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of May 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It sure has been one exciting week in video games here and there was so much to cover I did not think we would get to it all. Thankfully, we did and nothing much was left on the cutting room floor. From all the new RAGE 2 announcements and gameplay to the first look at the next Call Of Duty things ran rather high all week. We even were able to see more for Agony and see a whole new survival game with Green Hell. Read More…

Take On A Horde & Many Different Camps With New Days Gone Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Days Gone is here and it gives us a nice look at some end game content for Days Gone as well as some outpost style play We still may need to wait until 2019 to finally get Days Gone on the PS4, but that does not mean we do not have some new gameplay to look at and get excited over. Even if it is all alpha footage for the game, it gives us a nice look and feel for what Bend Studio is working toward and also some of the end game content, or close to the end of game content, we have to look forward too. Not only that, but we also have a nice long look at other kinds of missions and outpost we will have to tackle in Days Gone when all is said and done. Read More…

Green Hell Truly Looks Like It Will Challenge Our Survival Skills
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of May 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Green Hell is here and it gives us a solid look at just how much we will have to manage is we want to survive this Green Hell Earlier in the week we had the announcement that Green Hell was coming and that it was going to put us in the middle of "the shit" of surviving the Amazon Rainforest in first-person mode. The idea sounded intriguing and the little bit of gameplay that came with that announcement was fun, but now we have a whole lot more fresh from Creepy Jar that shows off just how much surviving we are going to have to do. Spoiler alert… there is going to be a lot of surviving we will have to do in Green Hell. Read More…

Titanic New Gameplay For Kingdom Hearts III Is Here Fresh From Some Demos
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of May 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
A bunch of new gameplay for Kingdom Hearts III is out there now after some big press demos showing off some large boss fights from Kingdom Hearts III Recently, select media outlets were given a chance to play a bit of Kingdom Hearts III and see where the game has progressed to. It looks like today was the day that Square Enix lifted the lock on the releasing of all of those impressions and feelings on where the game is at so far which means that we have a lot of new B-roll and off-screen gameplay to look at and dissect. I would have thought we would have needed to wait until after E3 for all of this, but it looks like Kingdom Hearts III is getting a head start like a few other titles out there. I will not complain, even though it makes it seem like we may not have much more to experience here in a few week's time. Read More…

Battlefield V Has Been Officially Announced With A Reveal Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been officially revealed that Battlefield V will be the next game in the Battlefield line and we will have a live reveal next week The headline here kind of says it all, but Battlefield V has been set as the official name for the next entry into the franchise with EA and DICE setting up a live event where the game will be shown off for the first time. I wish there was more to officially state for this reveal, but that is about the extent of what we have been given in terms of details and we will have to wait until May 23rd for Trevor Noah to give us more of the skinny. Him and some of the actual developers for Battlefield V will be giving us those details, but obviously the larger performer is what they are trying to use as the pull for us fans of the franchise and non-fans of the franchise. A Demon Runs Wild In Soulcalibur VI As Yoshimitsu Joins The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of May 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
The next character for Soulcalibur VI and it is another blast from the past of Soulcalibur to cause all kinds of Hell and frustration for others The next character to join the roster of SoulCalibur VI has been revealed and it is none other than one of the fan favorites Yoshimitsu. Fan favorite or character that annoys the Hell out of you when someone selects him given his moves and disorienting nature. At least that is how I always found him when I played him in the past and it looks like Bandai Namco is keeping with a lot of the traditional for him in Soulcalibur VI. I will not deny that this is what has pushed me over the top for excitement for the game to finally launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More…

The huge Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 reveal is finally here. We have you covered with the live stream of the Call Of Duty event The time is finally here and we are about to get more for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 than just a weird title logo, a new zombies mode, and the rumors of no solid campaign mode for the game. Not that that was a huge surprise as it is one of the few givens that we can count on for Activision each year now. Read More…

Our Mettle Will Be Tested As We Try To Escape The Green Hell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new survival game, Green Hell, is coming and Green Hell looks to give us all the fun of a survival game with all the horrors we would face if it were real If you ever wondered if you could survive the dangers of the Amazon Rainforest if you were lost there, then you are closer to wondering now more as Green Hell has been announced and is all about just that. Well, at least about that minus all of the real-world danger and death that would most likely come to most gamers, but I digress. Green Hell also happens to be the first title from the newly formed studio Creepy Jar as they take the survival game genre and crack it up, then ripping off the knob. Read More…

Lara Is Ever Evolving To The Point In Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
A new developer interview for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it takes us through the evolution of Lara from the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise to now I know we are all waiting for another big update for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as all we have had since its first leak has been a nice looking CG trailer for the game. It showed us what Eidos-Montréal was aiming for, sure, but it did not give us any actual gameplay or too many details for the game. I have a feeling this was to hold off until Square Enix's big E3 showing that is planned but to give us all a taste. Read More…

Metro Exodus Has Been Delayed Just A Bit But It Could Be A Good Thing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
A slight delay for Metro Exodus is set out there and now we will not be seeing Metro Exodus until early 2019 instead of late 2018 Do not expect to see Metro Exodus anytime this year, at least in its final form, as it has now been quietly delayed. I say quietly as there was not a huge announcement or statement out there from 4A Games or Deep Silver on it not hitting the PS4, Xbox One, or PC in late 2018 and now aiming for Q1 2019. No, this update was kind of slipped into the middle of the full statement on the parent company's earnings report. Something that a casual fan who is excited for Metro Exodus may have missed but, thankfully, you have us out there skimming through it all and catching it. Read More…

Travel To Shores Unknown With The Latest For Agony
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video for Agony is here to show us a little more for the game but also introduce us to the main musical theme for Agony If you were curious on the music that will be accompanying Agony when it launches on May 29th, and I am not talking the usual ominous kind horror games come with, then you will be pleased to know that we have a music video showcasing just that. Well, more showcasing the main theme for the game and not all of the music that Madmind Studios will have in the game there but beggars cannot be choosers. At least not when it comes to Agony as it is the latest that we have and we should all kick back and enjoy it. Read More…

Insanity Rules In The First Gameplay For RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of May 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The first gameplay for RAGE 2 is here and it looks to outshine the previous RAGE in many different ways from shooter to open-world Just as we were promised, we have the first bit of gameplay for RAGE 2 to gaze upon and so far it does not look like we are going to be let down in the hype arena. Not only that, but it looks like it all also came along with some other news from Bethesda for the game for us all to digest and get amped up for another large showing at E3 this year. Like, for starters, that RAGE 2 will be a collaborated effort between Avalanche Studios and id Software and not just a solo gig. Read More…

Boss Key Productions Has Been Deemed âNo Moreâ
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Fresh on the heels of Boss Key Productions’ last title announcement, Radical Heights, it looks like Boss Key is going to be no more Sad news for those who have been completely enamored with what Boss Key Productions has put out there for us, as it looks like the studio is "no more." Yep, it looks like the studio is being shut down after only a few years of trying to put out video games that never truly found an audience or fandom. Well, at least one that made all of the work and effort Boss Key Productions put into them viable to keep going. At least that is part of the assumption based on the official announcement that came from the head of the studio. Read More…

Rid The Town Of Blood Plague With New State Of Decay 2 Gameplay
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 14th of May 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
New gameplay for State Of Decay 2 is out there to give us a look at how State Of Decay 2 starts and progresses just a bit further in New gameplay for State Of Decay 2 is here now and captured in wonderfully high settings for those looking to see how smooth or nice the game will run. It is no secret that Undead Labs is going to try to make it look and run as best it can on all of the Microsoft platforms, but now we have some solid proof that it will be at least visually stunning when we are all finally able to load it up and dive into the end of the world. Not that anyone was truly expecting State Of Decay 2 to be the next big breakthrough in visual effects for video games; it is just here to be noted that it will at least run at some higher level of detail than many gamers out there may be able to support at this time.
