by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of October 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week And thus concludes another week in the world of video games. Another fun one out there and one filled with so many new releases and updates that it was hard to make sure we go to everything. Not only that but games like For Honor and Resident Evil 7 kept up the Halloween fix for the horror video games out there. That and that we had new reminders for Wolfenstein II and Assassin’s Creed Origins that will both be dropping next week. Read More…

There Are Some Hidden Treats Coming To Resident Evil Revelations & Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of October 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Switch versions of Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2 will have a few classic titles hidden in the mix On November 28th the Nintendo Switch will be getting its version of Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 added into the mix. More or less, they will be the same titles we had before when the titles launched but with some optimization for the new platform. Pretty much how every developer out there like Capcom goes when bringing their titles to other platforms. As it turns out though, these versions of Resident Evil Revelations will also be coming along with some other fun little mini-games that the other platforms did not get. Read More…

For Honor Has Invited Us To The Feast Of The Otherworld
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of October 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
The Halloween event for For Honor has kicked off and we all get to join For Honor's Feast Of The Otherworld for a short while It looks like all of the Halloween events are kicking off now as we have the next one here and for a title that has been out for a while, For Honor. Hopefully you remember that title that Ubisoft put out at the beginning of the year here. It may have moved to the backburner of your playlist as so many other games have come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC since then, but here is a good reminder as to why you may want to look to pick it back up. At least pick it back up for the next few weeks even though there have been so many other titles to come out since For Honor with some you may still be knee deep in as you read this. Read More…

Hide And Shriek Has Gone Free To Play Just In Time For Halloween
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of October 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Just in time for Halloween Hide And Shriek, the jump-scare multiplayer game, has gone free to play so get out there and Hide And Shriek If you think back to last Halloween, you may remember the title Hide And Shriek getting a little release out there for PC on Steam. It was a little title that was a One Vs One multiplayer title all about fear that Funcom put out there while working on all of their other titles that have come out since. The may premise of Hide And Shriek is that you and your opponent are in a closed location and your goal is to get as many jump-scares pulled off on your opponent through traps, sneaking around, or any other tactics you can think of. All to get the most points and "frighten" them to death. Read More…

When you do all of that, it looks like the things dreams and nightmares are made of will be coming to Dead By Daylight. Read More…

More Of The Amazing Views Coming For Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of October 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds have popped up to give us yet another look at the DLC coming to Horizon Zero Dawn soon November 7th is quickly approaching here and Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds will soon be hitting the PS4. All of this we know already, or at least know already, but it is good for Guerrilla Games to get that reminder out there for those who enjoyed the core game and are looking forward to this next expansion all to keep the fun flowing out there. I know I have been excited to get to travel to far-off lands and find all the new things in Horizon Zero Dawn. Just in case that has yet to be apparent in any of the past coverage for the DLC here. The Empire's Time Has Come With Star Wars Battlefront II
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 19th of October 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
There is a new Star Wars Battlefront II story trailer here to show off more of the single-player mode of Star Wars Battlefront II we will have There has been some sad news out there for the Star Wars franchises as it comes to gaming here, but let us focus on the non-developer-shutting-down side of things and look at Battlefront II that is still coming to us on November 17th. It was not DICE that was shut down, after all, and they have been working hard to try and give us a nice title to play before the next film comes out in December. Just as I am sure EA will want us all to remember. Read More…

New details for Dead Rising 4's upcoming Capcom Heroes mode are here and we are getting more Street Fighter in our Dead Rising 4 for free More of the Capcom characters we are going to get to "play as" in Dead Rising 4 have been revealed and expanded upon here. Of course, I mean all of this in terms of the new Capcom Heroes mode that will be coming to the game on December 5th for those who already have the game on the Xbox One or the PC, and also those who pick up Frank's Big Package for the PS4 on the same date. It is all a free update for Dead Rising 4 and will be adding in a plethora of characters for Frank West to cosplay as and pull off some of their iconic moves on the zombie hordes out there. Now we get to add a few form the Street Fighter franchise into the mix. Read More…

You May Want To Reassemble Your Team For Call Of Duty: WWII & Beyond
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of October 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
We have a new live action trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII and also a look at just where the Call Of Duty franchise may be going This is going to have to be one of the stranger updates we have had so far for Call Of Duty: WWII, but it is an update and something new to spy on just a few weeks before it comes home to our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I wish I could say it is all about some sweet new gameplay that Sledgehammer Games has for us here, but it is mostly all about what Activision has for us to spend more money on the game and get us all to pre-order it well before launch. As if you needed further reasons to do that given that this title is taking us back to the Call Of Duty and looks to offer up some of the new things we should be expecting in future titles. We are just over a week out from it coming home and we sure have seen a whole lot since it was announced and shown off here. More Details For Hunt: Showdown's Early Access Have Been Released
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of October 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
There is still no date on when Hunt: Showdown will be coming to Early Access, but now we know what part of Hunt: Showdown will be accessible Last week we heard that Hunt: Showdown was going to be heading to Early Access as Crytek keeps up the hard work, but outside of that announcement there was nothing else to go on. This of course led to all kinds of extra speculation as to what would be in this version of the game and just what players would get to experience. We even speculated that it would only be about what we have already seen in Hunt: Showdown to date with another beast to hunt down and that being it. Read More…

Resident Evil 7 Will Be Bringing The End Of Zoe & Other Things Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of October 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Resident Evil 7's upcoming DLC has been released and it looks like there is a lot more to Resident Evil 7 going on than we knew December 12th is coming up a lot quicker than we thought from before, but that just means that we will all be getting the Resident Evil 7 DLC and Gold Edition of the game that much faster. Of course, this may not mean much to those who have been waiting for Capcom to release this DLC or only wanted to play the core game, but for those who do not fall in those categories, we will need to take what little bits we can get for it all. Especially since it looks like the End Of Zoe DLC could also be sending us off to yet another addition to the Resident Evil franchise or maybe even some more unannounced DLC for the game in the future. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Shows How The Wrong Country Was Messed With
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of October 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Another trailer for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has dropped to grab more attention for Wolfenstein II as well as hint at another character we will see It is almost time to fight back against all of the horrible ideologies that will be making up Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I am not say that Machine Games and/or Bethesda has had bad ideas for the game here, but that there is definitely a focus on all of the horrible things from humanity's past and what could have been if we did not have heroes like Blazkowicz to save us all. Or at least fight the powers that have risen since the last Wolfenstein game. All of which are things we should have seen if we have been following along for the franchise as well as getting ready for October 27th to land and bring this new game to our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This Week In Video Games 10/9/17 â 10/13/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of October 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one more week of video games in the bag with so much going on this week alone. Some of it in the news and update arena, but also some of it in the major game releases for this week and the next few that will be coming up quickly. Only a few more days until South Park: The Fractured But Whole is out and that is only if you have had time to hammer through the video games that came out this week. The Evil Within 2 and Shadow Of War were also on that anticipation list for so many gamers out there and then we also have Assassin’s Creed Origins the week after that. Read More…

Respawn Entertainment Is Joining With Oculus To Dive Into VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of October 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
It looks like Respawn Entertainment is working on a new VR game but do not hold out for it to be one of Respawn's current IPs with a VR twist It looks like 2019 could be a huge year for all of you whom happen to be fans of Respawn Entertainment and the good work they do. I am sure you have heard of the titles Call Of Duty, Star Wars, and Titanfall so it would be hard to imagine someone reading this who has yet to find one of their titles they enjoy. Nonetheless, it looks like Respawn is heading into a new world of video games here and joining others out there who opted to team up with Oculus to bring us all some new VR content. Like some major VR content from their studio that will aim to further blur reality and virtual reality for us. Read More…
