Review â Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Homefront: The Revolution. A reimagining of the franchise to make America great again. Here's our review of Homefront: The Revolution It's been a while coming but Homefront: The Revolution has released and we've been able to dive right into what Dambuster Studios has to offer us. It may not be what was originally in store for us back in the THQ days but since Deep Silver picked up the franchise and put the teams to work to reimagine the game we are in store for another fun ride in a fake historical timeline. It makes sense I swear. Read More…

Ghost Recon Wildlands Shows Us The Ghosts & The Collector's Editions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Ghost Recon Wildlands has been released as well as all of the details on the Ghost Recon Wildlands collector's editions for pre-order It looks like Ubisoft is getting the fun E3 news rolling a little early and it also looks like Ghost Recon Wildlands is going to be one of the game that will be their main focus. This of course makes a whole lot of sense as it was revealed during their press conference last year and next to nothing has come out since. Now we have a nice little trailer to spy upon for Ghost Recon Wildlands a bit early as well as the listing for all of the collector's editions coming for the game. Read More…

The Mechanical Apartheid Of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Has Begun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
A new live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been released and perfectly shows off how the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution has changed the world August 23rd is still a bit out for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided so it is a bit acceptable that we are not getting loads of gameplay video and/or features revealed to us. I have a feeling that will come at E3 where Square Enix already has plans to show things off. Instead we get things like this live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that aims to show us what the world has become after the events of Eidos-Montreal's previous addition into the franchise. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Another Final Fantasy XV developer diary of sorts has popped up and again we are treated to more Final Fantasy XV gameplay and history Here we go with yet even more on the Final Fantasy XV updates as we have another developer diary to look upon as we wait for any other real update for the game. I'm guessing Square Enix is saving all of those updates for the bigger events and not just lost in the mix of the normal hustle and bustle. Although if you are willing to take the time and watch the latest video you'll be able to spy just a bit more gameplay for Final Fantasy XV mixed in and get all hyped up for the September 30th release date again. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Another trailer for Mighty No. 9 has been released to show off some of Mighty No. 9's special moves, attacks, and combos to pull off Every time I see Mighty No. 9 popping back up in the media it makes me worry that it is going to be delayed yet again. Thankfully though it looks like the June 21st release date that comcept and Deep Silver have set is still on and this is just an update on some other features in the game. So let the celebrating continue as Mighty No. 9 is still locked in and now we just get all kinds of cool things to look at as we head toward that date. Read More…

The release date for Hitman's third episode as well as a lot of details on the hit have been revealed as Hitman is heading to Marrakesh now It is coming in just under the wire but the third episode of Hitman is coming and coming up fast. It does seem like Io Interactive was pushing it out for as much time as possible but none the less the new episode lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31st. Literally the last day that it could have and still keep the promise of new Hitman content every month from Square Enix right on par. Two More Maps Have Been Added To Umbrella Corps' Arsenal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Two more iconic maps have been added to Umbrella Corps and we have a look at a whole lot of bonuses available for Umbrella Corps pre-orders Add two more maps to the list of Umbrella Corps maps that we will get to blast our way through on June 21st. It looks like Capcom has brought back both Raccoon City and the RCP building for us to hunt down and kill each other in when the game launches on the PS4 and PC. As if these two locations would be left out of Umbrella Corps in the first place. Thankfully now we get to see both of them in motion for the first time as we let the anticipation for the game kill us like the zombie hordes will do in the game itself. Read More…

Here's Why They All Run In Mirror's Edge Catalyst City Of Glass
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
A new Mirror's Edge Catalyst trailer has been released and it gives us all a look at why the runners run in the world of Mirror's Edge Catalyst This seems like a silly thing to only be hearing about for Mirror's Edge Catalyst as we are so close to the launch of the game. June 7th isn't that far off now and we are only now hearing about why they run in DICE's next addition to the franchise. Of course this is all in jest and based on the title of the launch trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst as we should all know the reason they run by now; at least if you have any interest in the game at all. There are just too many reasons. Read More…

New Vampyr Screenshots Ask 'Who Will You Kill?'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Vampyr have been released and they show off the duality of Vampyr's protagonist as every kill will have an effect on the game's world Slowly but surely we are getting to see Vampyr evolve into an amazing looking title. Now we have a whole new batch of screenshots from Dontnod to show off a bit of the game's world as well as some of the choices that Reid has to make in the game. Reid of course being the main character we will be controlling in Vampyr when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017. Hopefully Focus Home Interactive will be able to get this out the door in the earlier parts of the year but I'm going to guess it will be some time in the middle of the year. Read More…

The fourth and final Overwatch animated short has been released to get us all ready for Overwatch's eminent release date here tomorrow Only hours away now and we all will be hoping into the fun of Overwatch. It seems like a long and wobbly ride but we are on the verge of Blizzard's latest title having its full launch and now the anticipation has hit its high as we pre-download everything to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC to be ready to hit the ground running. This Week In Video Games 5/16/16 â 5/20/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games One more week in video games in the bag and many more to go. Although I have a feeling we are going to be on the lighter side of the news here soon as E3 is rolling in and there will be way more rumors that we can shake a stick at. All that aside though, this one has been fun with all kinds of updates on Final Fantasy XV and Dishonored 2. Not to mention our latest reviews here for Hitman and The Magic Circle. Read More…

Final Fantasy XV's Visuals Are Like Day And Night
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Another new video clip for Final Fantasy XV has popped up this week and this one focuses on Final Fantasy XV's day and night cycle in the game…visually As it turns out we couldn't make it all the way through to the end of the week without yet another Final Fantasy XV video to look upon here. At this rate I am not sure what Square Enix will have left for us at E3 or any of the other events leading up to its September 30th release date. Of course I jest as there is obviously a whole lot more going on in Final Fantasy XV that little clips like this can't fully do it justice but at least now we get to see how the day and night transition cycles happen here. Hard Reset Redux Brings The Over-The-Top Action To Us All Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Old FPS title Hard Reset is being brought back for us with Hard Reset Redux and is heading to PC and Consoles in a very fancy way Put on your "way back" hats as we have another old title getting brought back to us in a much better light in terms of Hard Reset Redux. Maybe you've heard of it or maybe you haven't but that doesn't change the fact that Gambitious isn't funding a nice new version of Flying Wild Hog's title from the past and bringing it right to us. In fact we can all see Hard Reset Redux hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC again here in short time as it is aiming to land on June 3rd. Talk about a quiet lead up and release for something that looks insanely intense. Read More…
