Mass Effect: Andromeda Has New Gameplay Fresh From CES 2017
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Mass Effect: Andromeda was promised out of the NVidia CES press conference and we got new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay now We had the promise and it was delivered as we now have some new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to look at here right out of CES 2017. It does look like Bioware had originally wanted to reveal the launch date for the game at the event as the people showing off the new gameplay looked psyched to see the March 21th date on screen but we won't let that distract us from the gameplay here. That is why we are all here right not and that is what we are going to get. All Mass Effect: Andromeda and without all of the bells and whistles that usually go on at these kinds of events that EA usually puts on. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
New hardware and partnerships for VirZOOM at CES 2017 have led us to a place where the first vSports event could be held at CES this year It is a rare instance that we have something here that is about health here but seeing as gaming is getting mixed in we had to have a look at the VirZOOM during CES this year. More so when you look at it as we are getting some of the first vSporting events out here as well. That was at least one of the goals that aimed to be met with the mixture of VR, a stationary bike, and the VirZOOM system all mixed in. Read More…

We'll Soon Be Able To Go To Liberty City In Grand Theft Auto V… In A Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Liberty City is coming to Grand Theft Auto V thanks to the work of some modders out there and it will flow in Grand Theft Auto V just as DLC If you are here then you are most likely excited to see that Grand Theft Auto V is going to be letting us venture across the ocean in game and actually make it to Liberty City. It was on the map and in the distance from the start back when Rockstar Games first launched the game so it seems like it would be about time to see it coming. That is why we are here to show off that Grand Theft Auto V is indeed getting opened up to include this location and all of the other ins and outs that came with GTAIV in the near future. Even More Rumors About Beyond Good & Evil 2 Now & Claim It's A Switch Timed Exclusive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
More rumors for Beyond Good & Evil 2 have appeared and they claim that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch This does seem like the year of the rumor as new rumors have cropped up around Beyond Good & Evil 2 and these ones point that the game will be a timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch right from the game's launch. Don't get your nickers in a bunch just yet as this is all still rumor and nothing official from Ubisoft. It does come from someone who has had a solid track record with leaking Switch info in the past but the latest for Beyond Good & Evil 2 could seem like a little much here. Read More…

The Next Installment Of Call Of Duty Has Been Teased & The Speculation Flies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Just like last year, the next Call Of Duty title has been given a tease and many have their thoughts on where Call Of Duty is going in 2017 Maybe you saw it or maybe you missed it with all of the New Years celebrating going on but the next installment of Call Of Duty has been teased out there in some manner. At least this is the speculation given what happened last year with Infinite Warfare and what Sledgehammer Games posted just at the beginning of the year. They are working on the next Call Of Duty title for 2017 for those who missed the trade-off that has been going on to make sure there is a new title every year. Read More…

Here's A New Montage Of Death Out Of For Honor's Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
A montage of executions from For Honor has been placed online and shows only some of kills that For Honor will let us do in the final game There is nothing like a good montage for a game like For Honor and here we have yet another one that focuses on some of the executions that can be done in the game. It is by no means a showing of all of the kills that Ubisoft has in store for us in the final build, especially since we still have more heroes to meet, but it is a nice collection that is out there to build on. At least that is the hope because if For Honor had only these few shown here then I'd start to question what we are going to get in the final build of the game and what we are really waiting for when the game launches on February 14th. Let's Scan Some More Horizon Zero Dawn Screenshots Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
A new batch of Horizon Zero Dawn screenshots have dropped as a nice gift before Horizon Zero Dawn and for the new year In just about two months now we will be getting to load up Horizon Zero Dawn on our PS4s and a lot of us couldn't be more excited. Not only does the game look great but it is a new IP from Guerrilla Games and we all know we need more of those as rehashing the same old will keep the industry truly stagnant. Of course, just being new isn't something that will make Horizon Zero Dawn sell but it is something that we always enjoy sinking our gaming teeth into. Even if we've seen similar types of games and stories like this out there. Read More…

The First Ever Winners Of The Steam Awards Have Been Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The winners of The Steam Awards have been announced with all of The Steam Awards winners being selected by users for the first time ever Here we go with the start of the new year with The Steam Awards first ever announced winners. While many other outlets and award shows were going on well before the end of the year, it looks like there was one that waited right up to December 31st to be able to give all games a chance. At least those that released on PC via Steam as The Steam Awards were all selected by the users during the big Steam Winter Sale and not some hand-picked panel of judges. These are all by gamers and for gamers while the awards actually go to the developer behind our favorite games that have come out. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 12/26/16 — 12/30/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 31st of December 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site We did it. We made it not only to the end of another week in video games but the end of the year in video games as well. It was one hell of a ride and thankfully we were able to get us all through it. Even though this is generally the week that is the slowest we managed to get you two reviews for The Walking Dead and our impressions of Friday The 13th as it stands right now. There was also a lot of interesting news for both Assassin's Creed and For Honor as well as some for all of those PC gamers out there playing on Windows 10. Read More…

The Obligatory 2016 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
There were a lot of video games that came out in 2016 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here's a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had some movies based on video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It of course isn't a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More…

Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Ties That Bind Part II
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Ties That Bind Part II. This is the second episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did Thankfully there was no real down time between the first episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and the second. That is outside of the time required to download the content as Telltale Games did give us some back to back work here. Hopefully it is a taste of things to come with all of their IPs but for now we are here to focus on The Walking Dead. Read More…
