by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 5th of January 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It was a short week again, but it was another fun week in the world of video games. It was also the first of the new year here and we had a bunch to look at and get ready for. Some of which were only small updates to games like Feudal Alloy and S.O. Read More…

S.O.N Has Some New Areas To Look At As We Wait A Bit More
by Chris Avila [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
A new teaser for S.O.N was released to show off new and old areas for S.O.N as we wait for an official release date to come One more teaser for S.O.N is here again to keep us waiting just a bit longer for the game. Originally it was slated to release back on December 11th, but RedG Studios had to delay it until some still undefined time. It seems the nature of the beast here and I suspect it will make for a better game. That is at least the hope. Read More…

Unreal PT Is Here To Try To Recapture The Demo We All Loved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Another attempt to recreate PT is here with Unreal PT bringing everything we know about the demo to life and in VR this time If there has been one game/demo that caused a whole lot of stir when it dropped it would have to be PT. It was nothing more than a promotional thing for another game that was canceled, but it caught the hearts and minds of so many gamers out there that it became not only an amazing PS4 experience but had others trying to recreate the whole thing. Usually these have been met swiftly with cease and desist notices being sent to whoever is doing so. That is why we are going to spread the word now that we have another entry into the phenomenon with Unreal PT so you can hopefully download it and see just what a load of passion and time can do for PC gamers who may have missed out. Hitman HD Enhanced Collection Is Announced & Bringing Two More Classics
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
An announcement for the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is here and brings two more Hitman titles into the HD ring very soon Talk about an announcement that seems out of nowhere as we now have word that we are getting a Hitman HD Enhanced Collection for the PS4 and Xbox One. Not only getting it, but it will be bringing two more titles from IO Interactive into the HD arena on January 11th. That is one hells of a turnaround there, especially given that Warner Bros. just brought us the release of Hitman 2 not too long ago. Read More…

Surviving the zombie apocalypse of Dystopia Rising is rough but fun for all no matter how much you know of the game and setting It has been several generations since the world has come to a cataclysmic ending. Humanity has risen, fallen, and slowly endured in the remaining rumble left behind. Strange mutations have developed in the radiation, creating new generations of humanity. Each unique in abilities and leery of outsiders. Read More…

There Are Some Many Video Games To Look For In 2019
by Chris Avila [ Thursday, 3rd of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
The New Year for Video Games has started and it is time to have a refresher for some of the video games that are slated to release soon We have officially kicked off the new year and that means we have a whole new year of video games to look forward to. Not just the ones that have been announced and slated for release already, but also all of the other ones that have yet to be announced as well. There are so many possibilities it is hard to keep track of them all and we need good reminders of them. This is why I am writing all of this as it is time for a nice little recap of what we should expect in way of video games for 2019 and beyond. Read More…

Feudal Alloy Has A Set Release Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The release date for Feudal Alloy is now set down and we can expect to be playing Feudal Alloy very soon Almost a year after we first heard of Feudal Alloy over here, we are seeing the game finally come to market. Yes, that means that the release date has been set down and we can expect to play this game from Attu Games on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch on January 17th. Not much time between now and then, but that just makes it all that much better. I mean, we could be waiting until 2020 to play Feudal Alloy and I would be rather put off at that point. Read More…

Fallout 76 Will Be Getting More Vaults & Player Vending
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
The first update coming to Fallout 76 for 2019 has a few more details now with one being a solution to what Fallout 76 players have started No matter where you stand with Fallout 76, you have to admit that it looks like Bethesda is trying to do the right thing with the game. Sure, there have been missteps and many fans out there who have been completely let down by the game as it was not what they were expecting, but at least it has not been completely abandoned and we are seeing more updates to the game. More than just bug fixes too as we have yet another update for Fallout 76 that sounds like it will be bringing along some new things to the game as well as solve some of the issues that players have fixed themselves. At least fixed without having true Mod support for the game. Read More…

Bright Memory Is Hitting Early Access Very Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
The first-person Hack-N-Slash FPS, Bright Memory, will be coming to Early Access on Steam with about a third of Bright Memory’s content If you have been paying attention to smaller developers out there then you may remember a little title named Bright Memory that was granted funds and had a team of one working on it. It looks to be a blending of hack-n-slash gameplay with a bit of an FPS mixed in and now it looks like we will be able to give it a go on January 12th. That is when Bright Memory is heading to early access over on Steam so those interested in the game can see how it has come along since it was first showcased in 2017. Read More…

Ubisoft Seems To Be Teasing Something In One Of Their Franchises
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
A new tease from Ubisoft is out there that could be leading to a major announcement for one of Ubisoft’s franchises There may be a big announcement out of Ubisoft here in the not too distant future as it seems like they are teasing something. At least that is how many have been taking it based on things popping up in Ghost Recon: Wildlands and now a teaser video that has been placed out there. It could also mean nothing at all, but given how the internet runs now, it has led to murmurs of a new Tom Clancy game or maybe even a new sequel to one of Ubisoft's other titles. At least given the content in the video here. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 12/26/18 — 12/28/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 29th of December 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes this year's coverage of the world of video games. We will obviously be back in 2019, but here we are at the end of 2018 and riding the fun wave all the way. There are still a few more days until then, but this will be our last one until then as I doubt we will see much more for those video games like Jump Force and Resident Evil 2 before then. I mean, there could be some other updates for games like Afterlife before then, but I do not think that will happen. Read More…

The Obligatory 2018 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
There were a lot of video games that came out in 2018 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here’s a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More…

Leon’s Backstory Is A Bit Different In The Resident Evil 2 Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
It has been pointed out that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be changing Leon’s backstory a bit than we knew in Resident Evil 2 The differences from the Resident Evil 2 Remake and the original game are growing outside of just visuals and a bit of level design as it has been spotted that story elements are being shifted a bit too. This is something I always figured Capcom would do here too, but now we have more proof as it looks like Leon's backstory is getting shifted a bit too. Some say to a less dark place than we knew in the original Resident Evil 2, but it feels a bit more fitting given what we will be experiencing in the game. Read More…

Devil May Cry 5 Will Have Some Odd Live-Action Mixed In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A new tease for the live-action parts of Devil May Cry 5 have been revealed and it looks just as odd as Devil May Cry has ever looked before One of the more odd things added into the Deluxe Edition of Devil May Cry 5 has to be the inclusion of live-action options for the cutscenes in the game. Given that this edition is the only way to unlock them during the game is the first part, but also it is live-action mixed into an all-digital game. It seems like a waste of money on Capcom's end, but they are going to do what they are going to do. Read More…

Relive The Story That Will Lead Up To Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
A nice recap of the Metro story so far is here to get us all ready for when Metro Exodus finally launches next year It has been some time between the last title in the series and when we will be seeing Metro Exodus. About five years or so have passed by in the real world and about two in the game world. There is a whole lot of information that we could have missed or let slip through since 4A Games delivered us a title in the franchise. That means that there is a lot riding on Metro Exodus at this point so we may need to recap a few things before diving in on February 15th. Read More…
