by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 9th of November 2011 - 02:47 PM ]
The latest developer's diary is up at the Elder Scrolls Community page, and this time we are taken into the world of Cyrodiil and we see this world brought to life. Full of character and lush landscapes, this massive world is a time sync TES fans know and love. If you haven't checked it out yet I also recommend for the more technical reader to check out the brief history of Cyrodiil. Read More...

The Sound Of Skyrim - Making A Dragon Sandwich
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 7th of November 2011 - 02:01 PM ]
There are a ton of factors that go into making a game: graphics, UI, scripting, but one feature that really stands out and can make or break a game is the sound. Bethesda has released their latest podcast featuring Mark Lampert - Bethesda game studios Audio Director - giving a full look at what went into making the music and sounds of Skyrim. I've always found voice acting and soundtracks to video games such an interesting element, so it's always fascinating to see how much goes into it from the other side of the screen. Read More...

Scrolls Gets To Keep Its Name
by Matt Waitt [ Thursday, 20th of October 2011 - 07:25 AM ]
Markus Persson (aka Notch), the man who brought you Minecraft has won a legal battle against ZeniMax Media/Bethesda Softworks. His new project, entitled Scrolls, seems to have caught the attention of one of the big dogs.  The trouble began when a law firm representing ZeniMax contacted Markus saying that he was being sued for having a game title with the likeness to The Elder Scrolls. By Mennen! A New Episode Of Nuka Break Slipped Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of October 2011 - 02:48 PM ]
I've been insanely busy over the last few days, but it looks like the next chapter on Fallout: Nuka Break just hit like the latest episode of The Walking Dead. Only that unlike TWD, F:NB doesn't fully pick up where we last left off. Be it because of some shady stuff the producers and writers don't want us knowing yet or be that I missed something. So What Did You Think About Rage?
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 10th of October 2011 - 11:23 AM ]
Now that Id Software's new IP is out, what do you guys think about it?I was thoroughly impressed with the demo Id showed off earlier this year at PAX East and eagerly waited for its release in August, but sadly it was pushed back to October. I was perfectly ok with that since I knew the finished product was going to blow my mind into oblivion, but I guess it is safe to say that I'm slightly disappointed. Read More...

So two weeks ago Fallout: Nuka Break made its debut on the internet with its first episode. In what seems to be a bi-weekly set up now (according to the annotations in the new episode), I bring you Episode 2. Yea, that whole sentence was redundant but you still read it. Read More...

Knuckle Bumps To The Gamers Behind Fallout: Nuka Break
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of August 2011 - 10:28 AM ]
So there was that abomination that occurred with Mortal Kombat's web series. I've all but given up on trying to care about any web series that are based on popular video game franchises. That is until I caught Wayside Creations' rendition of Fallout, aptly titled Fallout: Nuka Break. Read More...

Review: Brink
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 23rd of May 2011 - 09:59 AM ]
Brink is a fast paced, multi-faceted first person shooter, and brought to us by Splash Damage and Bethesda Softworks. With its intuitive free-running style game play, and great stylized graphics, is it enough to keep this title from the Brink of extinction? Brink is set in the near future, where two factions battle for control of a floating city known as the ARK. Read More...

Hunted Gets A New Game Play Trailer
by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 31st of March 2011 - 10:40 AM ]
It's dangerous to go hunting alone and in the latest game play video from Bethesda and inXile entertainments Hunted: The Demon Forge I wouldn't want to be out there by myself anyways. One of the best things in this video is that we finally get to hear some of the awesome voice over work we have all come to love from Bethesda Studios. Not to mention at the beginning of this month it was announced that Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus: Blood and Sand) would breathe life into the seductive temptress Seraphine.
