Halo: The Master Chief Collection Is Announced For PC
by Chris Avila [ Thursday, 14th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The Halo: The Master Chief Collection is now announced and will bring the Halo further into the PC world with many of the titles built for the platform Because I am sure that there are some gamers out there who have yet to play Halo, it looks like the mass of the franchise will soon be available for the PC. Not that we have not been able to see a few titles out there from 343 Industries already, but now the majority of the franchise will be there in one nice big package. A packed titled, you guessed it most likely, the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Read More…

Take A Sprint Behind The Scenes Of World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for World War Z is here to show us the various facets of the game and just where inspiration from the World War Z was used There is still a month from the launch of World War Z so we have a whole lot of time to see more for the game. That is not to say that we have not already as Saber Interactive has placed a whole lot of footage out there already and there does not seem to be much of a change from place to place. It is just how this game is designed as World War Z is relying on the replay factor of each randomly generated swarm AI to keep things feeling fresh. Almost like playing a PvP game of sorts. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Someday You’ll Return takes us into the memories of the protagonist on his journey we will join on within Someday You’ll Return Here we go with a new trailer to take in for Someday You’ll Return as we get ready to go down this dark psychological narrative from CBE Software. This may be the first time you are hearing of this title or it may not be. That does not change the fact that we have a new trailer to look at as our protagonist Daniel remembers things from his past to dive forward to try to find his missing daughter. Read More…

Go All Wild Up In Appalachia With The Latest Fallout 76 Update
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The first of three major Fallout 76 updates is here and will be adding quite a bit to your Fallout 76 adventures The latest for Fallout 76 is here after a bit of a wait and it looks like it will be adding a whole lot into the game than some of us may have thought before. There have not been many changes from what was listed out by Bethesda when they made the announcement of the free DLC, but it looks like the words may not have done this update justice. At least based on this new trailer we have for Fallout 76 that highlights all of these changes and monsters we will see in the game now. More so when you see that the new underground areas will go a few more levels lower than just one or two and be more sprawling than some have seen in the past. Read More…

Ashes Of Oahu Rises Out Of The Formerly Named Nightmarchers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Ashes Of Oahu is the new name and game that built on Nightmarchers and we will get to see Ashes Of Oahu sometime this Spring About this time last year, we caught wind that a title called Nightmarchers failed to get funded through FIG but the team was going to keep working on it to bring it to market. That team being Wyrmbyte and that promise coming to light as we have the announcement of Ashes Of Oahu on its way this Spring. This would be the same game with some changes to fit with what they were aiming for as well as to make sure cultures were respected. Read More…

A New Artistic Platformer Is Coming To PC & Xbox Through Stela
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A new title, Stela, is announced will be bringing its artistic platforming gameplay to the Xbox One and PC sometime this year While it will be on full display at GDC this year, we have the official announcement of Stela coming at us to bring another artistic style game into the fold of the PC and Xbox One. I am not talking in terms of some fancy paint style program but in terms of a new platformer from SkyBox Labs that will place us in a very artistic world while needing to navigate puzzles and the world. It sounds a lot more high-concept than it actually is here, but that is not a deterrent for Stela in the least bit. Read More…

The Forgotten City Is Heading To The Xbox One Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City is no longer a PC only title, as it looks like Xbox fans will also be able to enjoy The Forgotten City this year If you felt like you were being left out of The Forgotten City's release, as it was only shown for PC back at E3, then you will be glad to know it is branching out to the Xbox One at the same time. That time is still late in this year, but Modern Storyteller is poised to bring the game to the platform as well now. Not the largest of surprises given that The Forgotten City is based on a mod for a massively popular title on the systems and many would like to have options when playing these things. Read More…

The Wait Is Just A Bit Longer To Fully Enter The Green Hell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A delay has hit Green Hell pushing its Story Mode out a bit as well as the full release of Green Hell out of Early Access If you have been holding off on Green Hell until it fully releases, you will be waiting a bit longer as it looks like there has been a delay in its production. This is something that sounds weird as Creepy Jar has had it out there in Early Access for a while now and the only thing we are seeing getting the delay is the Story Mode 1.0 update for the game, but it is causing the game to get pushed out a bit. At least in terms of the full release of Green Hell as it looks to be aimed to move from Early Access with the Story Mode update in Summer of this year. Read More…

Hunt: Showdown Is Making Its Way Over To Xbox Game Preview Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Hunt: Showdown is still in development, but it looks like Xbox gamers will have a chance to join the Hunt this coming Spring More or less, the headline says it all here as it looks like Hunt: Showdown is now heading to the Xbox Game Preview program for more gamers to experience. Just in case you have missed out or did not have a chance to experience the game yet on the PC where Crytek has had it in Early Access for a while already. Some of us do not want to play out games on PCs, which is fine, and now a new option to play Hunt: Showdown is coming. Sometime this Spring we will be able to give this a new go and see just where the game has evolved to so far. Read More…

Fate Does Not Want Us Dead In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The latest trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is here and with it comes some new bosses and enemies we can expect to fight in Sekiro There is just over a week left to wait for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and now is the time that it looks like FromSoftware will be diving deeper into all of those bosses and enemies we have been waiting for. At least if the official launch trailer for the game that just dropped is any indication from it all as we get to see all kinds of new beasts and monsters mixed in with a load of story bits going around it all. Sure, it does not do much in the way of keeping players surprised in many instances of Sekiro, but it does great for marketing. Read More…

Have A New Breakdown Of The Supernatural Abilities Of Control
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A new deep dive into the abilities of Control is out there where we get to see the different abilities and powers we will wield in Control We finally have some new updates for Control to look at and this one goes all in on the abilities and powers we will get to use in the game. Not that we did not have a clue what we would be seeing from Remedy in this form as we have seen all of the telekinetic abilities and the gun in past trailers. Now we get to find out that there is a bit more to it all than we previously thought. It still boils down to two main things in Control in this form, but we have the chance to see how we will be able to use them all in the game. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 3/4/19 — 3/8/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of March 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and all kinds of stuff was out there for our favorite video games. It felt like the same rollercoaster we have been used to as of late with the ups and downs and teases. Just like the new gameplay we had for Days Gone and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Also some new stuff for Mortal Kombat 11 and sadly a delay to The Sinking City. Read More…

Hack & Stealth Your Way Through The Upcoming Evotinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of March 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
During the China Hero Project showcase, we received a new look at Evotinction that will combine stealth gameplay with a bit of computer hacking Add one more game to the interesting ones to keep an eye on as we have Evotinction to take in here. This would be a new hack and stealth title from Spikewave Games where the gameplay sounds about as you would suspect. We need to sneak around some kind of futuristic location while hacking into systems around us to help keep hidden or keep the enemy moving right past us. That is Evotinction in the most basic of nutshells as it was recently shown off for the world and heading to the PS4. Read More…

You Will Not Be Surviving Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of March 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
We will be getting a blast from the past with Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin as we tackle the classic Quake Engine using modern day systems This one goes out to all of your retro gamers out there as we have a new one, Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin, coming at you in a way that you may fully enjoy. This would be a new FPS title from KillPixel heading to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One at some point all crafted with the original Quake engine from so long ago. Yes, it is a step back in the world of game development but it does look like Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin will hit all of those feelings that you are looking for. At least if you are down for some old classic style gameplay but in a more modern setting. Read More…

The Sinking City Has A New Release Date To Look Forward To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of March 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The release date for The Sinking City has been pushed out to give us a new buffer for The Sinking City and other video games coming soon It looks like the release date for The Sinking City has been pushed out again and the wait continues. It is usually a horrible thing when something like this happens, at least for all of us gamers looking forward to the game, but it makes perfect sense for Frogwares to do. Not due to anything pointing to The Sinking City not being the game we have been expecting, but in line with the game getting lost in the mix of all of the other titles out there. That would be the reason we have been given for the delay for the most part. Read More…
