by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of August 2010 - 02:08 PM ]
BioShock fans can rejoice, at least a little bit. While the final DLC pack for BioShock 2 is on its way here in the coming months, it has been officially been announced that the franchise will live on. Even though we will have to wait until 2012 for the next incarnation, the previously dubbed Project Icarus has been revealed. Welcome to BioShock Infinite. While I do say next incarnation, BioShock Infinite is not a sequel in terms of story though. Read More...

Fable 3 Is Finger-Licking Good
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 9th of August 2010 - 01:05 PM ]
Peter Molyneux's popular title Fable 3 is being released in October. This week we got a full opening cinematic that would make Colonel Sanders giddy with excitement. Although the main character is created by the player, this cinematic follows the adventures of everyone's favorite feathered football, the chicken. Fable 3 takes place during an age of industry and we see a lot of that highlighted in this trailer. The entire video is obviously a metaphor for our hero; you are the same as this 'brave chicken' - challenging Albion and its dangers. Read More...

Just when you thought that maybe there was nothing left to be done in BioShock 2 another DLC pack is sent our way. First it was more multiplayer. Then it was more "single" player in the form of harvesting challenges. Let's see what 2K Game is going to try and milk us for this time. Most likely more map packs for a multiplayer mode that is getting a little on the light side. *[Insert Press Release Opening Noises]* Oh, well isn't this interesting? by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of July 2010 - 10:34 PM ]
After waiting for more of Rapture and BioShock to be announced at E3 in the form of BioShock 3 or a BioShock MMO. I was dubiously let down in my search for that. But at least I found a Big Daddy and a Little Sister there. That and 2K Games just announced some upcoming DLC that adds onto the single player mode of the game. Awesomely Epic. Here is what we will be getting for $4. Read More...

Jigsaw Wants To Know Your Breaking Point
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of July 2010 - 08:20 PM ]
After posting about what I saw and got to play at E3 for Saw II: Flesh And Blood, I'm sure that most of you were still sitting on the side of the fence with all the non Saw film lovers. Hey, I was on top of the fence, slowly walking along it to see if I would fall before I got a bit of hands on. This is why I am bringing you something to help make up your minds a bit on Saw II. Here is the video clip they used to show off the game at E3. By the looks of it, the producers got a hold of the creative people behind the trailers for the films, as this trailer is clipped just like the old promotional videos for the movie franchise. Arkham Asylum 2 To Be 'Darker' In Tone
by Brian Goodman [ Wednesday, 21st of April 2010 - 04:11 PM ]
Thanks to 1up.com for reporting on a Chicago Comic-Con panel that long time Batman voice Kevin Conroy was speaking at. Conroy has reportedly said that Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 will be "really really dark" and that legendary, iconic villain, Two Face, will be making an appearance. I say awesome. I, like everyone else, loved everything about the first Batman: Arkham Asylum and I feel it speaks really well that an unknown newcomer like Rocksteady Games can rock our worlds with the first good Batman game ever (and a rare piece of quality licensed work). Its nice to see them not only expand deeper into the Batman universe, but also do so with the finely polished third person gameplay the market had not seen in a long while. Lets just hope as much effort goes into adding depth to the gameplay formula that made the first one so great. Read More...

Could We Be MMOing It In Rapture Soon?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of April 2010 - 03:22 PM ]
This is still just a rumor and based of sources from Destructoid. I'm not one to post a bunch of rumors. I hate when they are good ones and then they end up being false or a joke started to get views. I really hate it. But this is a rumor that I think most of the fans of 2K Games would go ballistic over if it was made to be a joke or for publicity. It's also one that I am sure that any fan of BioShock would love to be true. If you could not deduce by now, the rumor is BioShock: The MMO. Read More...
