Jean-Claude Van Damme Is Kicking Some Major Ass In Mortal Kombat 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of September 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat 1 is ready to show us all how Van Damme is going to look so we can bring Mortal Kombat full circle further It only took the team at NetherRealm Studios thirty years to get here, but here we are with Mortal Kombat 1 and Jean-Claude Van Damme actually being in the game. Not as a full fighter, sadly, but as a full skin for Johnny Cage in the game. This is nothing new for the announcement as it was let loose a while ago, but now we have some solid gameplay to see and hear how the actor will be in Mortal Kombat 1. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 1 Will Have Even More Blood Flowing In The Game Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of September 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat One more blast from the Mortal Kombat past is here to expand the roster of Mortal Kombat 1 just a bit more This seems to be a big week for vampires, as now we have the announcement that Nitara is coming in with Mortal Kombat 1 on September 19th. You read that correctly. NetherRealm Studios is dropping the Outworld Vampire into the fight from so long ago and with all manner of updates that we should be looking for. Although, at this point, it feels like they were just looking to remake Mortal Kombat: Deception for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC instead. I jest, but it does feel like the roster is mostly coming from that title and various others that were not all that well-received. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of August 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat We are about to head into Mortal Kombat with the opening cinematic we are going to get in Mortal Kombat 1 While we had some fun looks at Mortal Kombat 1 during Gamescom 2023 and had a few more characters confirmed for the game, we had one more big thing flow out there before the September 19th release date for the game. A nice little bit that could potentially hype us all up for what NetherRealm Studios is working on or spoil some of the game for us. To this, we are talking about having the opening cinematic for Mortal Kombat 1 that will lead us into the first main fight in the story. Read More...

The Rulers Of Outworld Are Out There In The World Of Mortal Kombat 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat Even more Mortal Kombat characters are back in action and ready to rule things again in Mortal Kombat 1 yet again There is now less than a month left before we have Mortal Kombat 1 on our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC with September 19th looming closer. You probably already knew all of that as NetherRealm Studios has hammered that home since the original announcement. What we did not know, and was shown off during Gamescom 2023, is that we are going to see more of the original power players of Mortal Kombat back in the mix and doing all manner of terrible things again. Even if the story should have meant that Fire God Liu Kang should have made it not a thing. Read More...

Invincible The release date for The Invincible is set so all gamers will have a chance to experience the story of The Invincible We have a launch date now for The Invincible and it looks as if we are only going to have to wait a few more months for the game to land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A few more months as is in Starward Industries is looking to drop the game out there on November 6th of this year. I do not know why we needed to add that part, but it felt needed for this launch. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III Blasts Us All In The Face With The First Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of August 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The first gameplay for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III is here to give us a better idea of how far the Call Of Duty IP is going this time The day is here and we finally have a solid look at the coming gameplay we will experience in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III. To an extent, it feels, with it feeling more like a showing of what Sledgehammer Games is able to do with the engine and less of how it is going to function when we get it in our hands-on November 10th. Then again, this is a Call Of Duty title, so I do not suspect that things will feel much different in terms of the mechanics of point-and-shoot. It does feel like it is all lightyears ahead when it comes to the visuals of it all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of August 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The big villain for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III is here to give us more of what we should expect in this Call Of Duty release The teasing for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III has finally started to kick off with what we had yesterday showing it would drop on November 10th this year. Now, we get a new look at the antagonist we are going to be facing off with in the game. Not that Sledgehammer Games has changed it up from the original version of the game, but it is nice to see how Makarov has evolved from the last time we saw him in a Call Of Duty title. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III Is Coming To Us All This November
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of August 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty has a release date with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III hitting us all this November After all of the highs and lows out there for Activision and its IPs, we have it confirmed now that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be on the way this November. Maybe this is not the biggest shock out there with the next title in the line coming out with Sledgehammer Games behind the wheel for this one. It is a little off to have the next Call Of Duty completely confirmed this late in the cycle. I will blame the ongoing business issues with the parent companies. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 1 Has Us Embrace The Chaos With New Characters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of August 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat Three more fighters are here for Mortal Kombat 1 and we get one more Mortal Kombat deep cut for another Kameo fighter The fighters are coming out in droves for Mortal Kombat 1 with three more banished into the realm and one more showing up as the next hot Kameo spot. Most of them also some deep dives into the games from NetherRealm Studios that some fans might see these as new characters if they do not have their lore all the way up to date. There have been a massive amount of characters in the run for Mortal Kombat, so that makes sense. Now, though, we get to see as Reptile is back, along with Ashrah, Havik, and Sareena. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 1 Gets Some Time Back Into Its Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat One more Mortal Kombat character is back in the mix for Mortal Kombat 1 with Geras getting a debut Just when we thought we were going to have a lull for Mortal Kombat 1, a new fighter comes onto the scene with a smashing new trailer to behold. A new fighter for this entry but one that NetherRealm Studios has already given to us before. Here we go with Geras coming back from Mortal Kombat 11 to show more of what he is made of as well as make sure Lui Kang is keeping the peace as was dictated in some off-screen conversation. That is the long and short of what we have in the story here for this before the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 19th. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/25/23 — 7/28/23
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of July 2023 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, things took quite a bit of a turn with SDCC popping off and keeping the whole team's attention for all things video games and pop culture in general. Thankfully, we were able to hop back in this week, get caught up, and still have more to share for titles like Mortal Kombat 1, Spider-Man 2, and Star Wars Outlaws. That is, we only want to focus on the video games we had the chance to check out and talk about during the event too. Read More...

Star Wars Outlaws Smuggles Out Some New Information From SDCC This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of July 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars Star Wars fans had a whole lot more to take in at SDCC this year with some behind-the-scenes looks at Star Wars Outlaws Strap in and take a seat, as we have more for Star Wars Outlaws fresh out of SDCC that just wrapped up not too long ago. Not much in the way of gameplay, with most being what Massive Entertainment has already shown the world up to now, but there is a bit more of what to expect in the game when it launches. Some of it great and new and some of it more of what Ubisoft has in many of their titles already. The latter being that there will be many cosmetics to use in Star Wars Outlaws for the characters and vehicles in the world. Read More...

More Characters Are In Our Blood Out Of SDCC For Mortal Kombat 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat More characters for Mortal Kombat 1 have been announced out of SDCC along with more guest characters coming in for Mortal Kombat 1 In general, SDCC does not feel like the place where new information for Mortal Kombat 1 would have been dropped out there, but gods did we have a massive drop of information out there this year. Quite a bit of stuff that feels like NetherRealm Studios would have given us if the more traditional video game conventions would have been happening, but had to wait until they could pack a room with fans. Not only that, but to make sure we were all excited for that September 19th release of Mortal Kombat 1 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...
