This Week In Video Games 8/21/17 — 8/25/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another fine week of video games in the bag and there was still so much that we did not get a chance to cover this week. I guess that is what having another huge gaming event like Gamescom will do to us all when we are just trying to share it all. I mean, we had a lot of updates and news for Shadow Of War this week and a continued update for South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Not to mention some other great video games getting the announcement like Biomutant and Jurassic World Evolution. Read More...

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Unleashes The Souls From The Deep
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom More gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite has been released and we get to see some of the darker characters for Marvel Vs Capcom in action with the Soul Stone Last week we were shown the last of the roster for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite that will be coming at launch and we were able to see how dark things could go; in terms of characters. Now that we have seen them, it is time to see them all in action and Capcom has delivered us a new gameplay video for the game just to show all of that. Well, at least to show us how these fights in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite could play out when the characters are in the best of hands or set up. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/14/17 — 8/18/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes yet another week of video games in the bag. I swear that seems like the way we start all of these recaps out there. Nonetheless, we have hit the end of yet another week and it was filled with even more updates and news that could have been expected. There was a lot for Shadow Of War and Assassin’s Creed Origins yet again, and sadly we saw that Crackdown 3 had been delayed yet again until next year. Thankfully though, we have Agents Of Mayhem out there to feel those needs and if you are still on the fence for that title, we just published out review for it so you can get a better idea before purchase. The Dark Kingdom Is Rising In Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom More characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite have been revealed as well as more of the new story for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite we'll be experiencing soon Here we go with what I am guessing will be the final story trailer for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite before September 19th. I am guessing that as it also fleshes out the full thirty character roster that Capcom has put together for this next big outing. That and it also looks like we may have a few different stories floating around here in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite unless the showing here doesn't truly pan out as it looks like it will. I know I am seeing another Civil War kind of set up here as two different groups of thought debate on letting Thanos truly join in the fight for it all. Read More...

Get Ready To Tackle The Horrors Of A.I.M.Brella In Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom New gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite was shown during SDCC as well as a new level for Marvel Vs Capcom and new fighters Not the biggest of surprises out of SDCC this year was another announcement for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite in terms of characters, levels, and Infinity Stones that we will get to use in the game. I say it wasn't much of a surprise given the fact that both Capcom and Marvel are well known to be at the convention every year and have such a strong presence that it would have been a letdown for there to be nothing. With Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite still launching on September 19th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, they still have a way to go in terms of showing it all off so it would make perfect sense we'd see some new characters, levels, and stones here. Welcome Jedah To The Roster Of Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite With New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom Another character has been added to the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite roster and now Jedah is joining in the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite fun Here we go with yet another character added into Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite straight out of EVO 2017. Not only that, but a lot of new gameplay for some other characters that Capcom has yet to give us; even in the demo that is currently out there. Well, more one character as Gamora is featured heavily in this new Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, but at least we get to see one match where Jedah is added into the mix. Wait, did I just out the new character that was shown off out at EVO there? Read More...

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Gets A Few New Characters In The Mix With A Story Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom A bunch of new characters have joined in on Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite & you can play with some of them in the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite story demo If you've been living under a rock then you may have missed out on the latest update for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite out of E3 this year. The game had more screen time out there and Capcom took to showing off a bit more of the game's story as well as giving us all a few more characters in the mix that we can now know we will play with. While I know there are some great characters that people are hoping to make it back in for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, but with the latest update here I think you are going to be left wanting when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19th here. Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Shows Off Some Infinity Stone Action
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom New Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite gameplay is here to show off all of those newly announced characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite as well as one of the Infinity Stones We just had a few more characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite revealed to us as well as part of the overall story we can expect in the game's story mode, but now it is time to see them all in action just a bit. There were another eight characters added in and now we get to see seven more of them in action here with the latest update and gameplay trailer that Capcom has given us all to enjoy. Yes, I said seven as we don't get to see Rocket Raccoon any more in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite than we have already but at least we get to see Ultron a bit more in action as well as how all of the returning characters have been mixed up as we wait until September 19th to get our hands on the game for our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom The release date for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite has been set and we have a pretty amazing looking Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite collector's edition to pre-order The speculation for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite's release date has now come to an end and we have a solid date to look at now. Before we only had a few timelines to go by based on words from Capcom and the mere thoughts of all those mere mortals out there. None the less the date has been set and we can all look to pick up Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 19th. Read More...

It's The Time Old Fight Of PC Vs Console For Video Games
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 24th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Video Games It's that time-old question of which is better for video games. Let's pro & con their ability to run our video games My original plan for this article was a thorough explanation of pros and cons of our preferred video games platforms. I could never finish it though because at the end of the day gaming is a lot of things but it should be fun first and foremost. Some people like mouse and keyboard over a controller. This doesn’t mean one is better than the other for video games, it just means some people have different tastes. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/26/16 — 12/30/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 31st of December 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site We did it. We made it not only to the end of another week in video games but the end of the year in video games as well. It was one hell of a ride and thankfully we were able to get us all through it. Even though this is generally the week that is the slowest we managed to get you two reviews for The Walking Dead and our impressions of Friday The 13th as it stands right now. There was also a lot of interesting news for both Assassin's Creed and For Honor as well as some for all of those PC gamers out there playing on Windows 10. Read More...

We May Have A Release Window For Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom In a recent interview for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite is looks like details around when we should see Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite next year have been slipped It looks like next year is going to be a big one for Capcom with all of the anticipated titles and now even more so as it looks like Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite may be joining in some of the great anniversary fun late next year. That is, we may now know about when we can expect to see the game hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and it all looks to be linked into the huge Street Fighter anniversary that is about to go down. At least that is if we take what recently was said during an interview for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite with a bit of faith and a bit of hope. Read More...

The Battle Rages On As Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Gets Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom The next Marvel Vs Capcom title has been finally announced and we can see Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite sometime late in 2017 now What was once rumor is now true as Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite has been given its official announcement out at PSX over the weekend. Slight murmurs began just before the show that the game was coming but given the fact that no one could name the person over at Capcom that let the information slip, we never put much stock in it. That and it was better to have the excitement lead up to the "hidden" new Marvel Vs Capcom announcement and now we have it. Maybe that is just me though as we now wait and see what we will be fully getting on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime late in 2017. Read More...

Trouble Is Brewing In Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Plants Vs Zombies The next major update for Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has been announced and it brings one of the largest maps to Plants Vs Zombies ever this Summer It looks like more trouble is on the way to Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 but thankfully it is the kind that we are all looking for. In this case it is in the form of another major content update from PopCap Games as we are getting a new map, characters, and a whole lot more. Also all of those general updates that EA like to have added in for Plants Vs Zombies here but that isn't something we all care about. Read More...

Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Is Expanding The Battle Further
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Plants Vs Zombies The first free content update for Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is coming and it looks to bring much more to the Plants Vs Zombies world and gameplay Barely a few weeks out from the original launch of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 and it looks like we are getting our first big update for the game. Just like the game before is looks like PopCap Games is still churning out all of new content we could ever want. Well that is a bit of a stretch as I am sure EA won't fund everything that would ever want but at least Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is getting a new big drop of content here on March 8th and for the low price of Free.
