New Magicka Game Announced

Since its release in 2011, Magicka has given fans all kinds of spell to blow each other to pieces with. The Indie title has been a great hit for ArrowHead and Paradox, especially if you include the massive amount of DLC available. Now Paradox is taking Magicka and leaping into the world of mobile gaming. Announced today is Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet, developed by Ludosity. Grand Theft Auto V Pushed Out Of Spring

Rockstar has announced the release date for their crime epic Grand Theft Auto V. Unfortunately it's releasing later than originally expected. Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V will be released on September 17th for Xbox 360 and PS3. Originally Rockstar had it slated for sometime in spring. This may come as a disappointment to those looking forward to the game but I rather have them take their time instead of releasing a broken game with a boatload of patches. I'm sure you did as it was being over shadowed during the 2012 VGAs with some video engineer's want to show more of the orchestra than the actual trailer. The Phantom Pain - New IP Or Sequel/Prequel

Since the first trailer for The Phantom Pain was shown during the 2012 VGAs, there has been a butt load of internet chatter and "conspiracy theories," if you can use that term here, over if it is linked to the Metal Gear franchise or a new IP from a new studio. Internet sleuthing seems to point more toward the prior over the latter, but what if it is a whole new IP? Yea, I get that the people who are supposedly linked to The Phantom Pain are known for all their quirks and fun ways to announce their upcoming titles, but what if? New Tomb Raider Screens Burning Into My Eyes

It's hard to believe that we haven't had anything of worth to write about for the upcoming Tomb Raider re-boot since E3. Yes there has been the announcement of the launch date (3/5/2013) and the collector's edition of the game, but all of the visuals and details of the game have kind of been in hiding. Family Guy Back To The Multiverse Preview

Family Guy fans have something to look forward to in a few weeks when Family Guy Back To The Multiverse releases. Back To the Multiverse is based on the concept of the Family Guy episode Road To The Multiverse. In case you have never seen the episode it's about Stewie who creates a remote that allows him and Brain to travel to parallel universes. These parallel universes are the same time period as their universe but exist on their own. Each universe has its own unique twist that makes each one radically different then their own universe. Grand Theft Auto V New Screenshots

Rockstar has reveled some new screenshots for their next big crime epic Grand Theft Auto V. Very little is known about the game relating to story details and characters. What we do know though is the game takes place in Los Santos which is a fictional version of Los Angeles. If you all remember this was one city that was featured in 2004's San Andreas. Los Santos was also accompanied by fictional versions of San Francisco and Las Vegas though it is unknown at this point if they will be returning in Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar has been keeping Grand Theft Auto V information scarce since the games announcement and has not even given a release date. Read More...

We talk video games, last week's E3 and reminisce the humble beginnings of Aggrogamer and the Aggrocast. The first half of the show has regular characters Matt and Corey, as well as Aggrogamer's own Chief Editor, fresh from E3 2012, David Becker. E3 2012 Impressions: Tomb Raider

Here we go for round two of the major showing of the Tomb Raider reboot and still nothing playable at E3 2012. While there was nothing playable on the show floor, there was a nice little demonstration behind the scenes that was all game play. The only caveat was that we were only allowed to sit and watch. Even with that being the case, I do have to say I was blown away with what I saw even though some of the game play mechanics seemed a bit off in terms of making sense in the world. You all may have noticed lately the onslaught of things like Online Passes, On-Disc DLC, and DLC that have been announced and made before release. Many of you may be under the impression the publisher/developers are just being greedy and trying to squeeze out every penny from you. What you don’t know is the inner-workings behind the scenes. The publishers are losing money this gen due to higher cost of development, and lower economies. They also have long standing arrangements with stores like GameStop where if a game flops they will buy back the product at full price or eat the cost and make zero money back if the store decides to price cut it down to move inventory. After two hand surgeries, Brian - more importantly, the Aggrocast - is back at full strength. Corey and Matt join Brian for a podcast talking about the great clickfest that is Diablo III. The guys also touch on Bioware/EA's woes with Star Wars: The Old Republic, 38 Studios going into loan default, as well as the various court cases swirling around the industry at this time. Without the law books on the table, the guys also touch on what they've been playing including Wet, Bulletstorm, Witcher 2, Torchlight 2 beta and some game called Diablo III.
