The Next DLC For Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Looks Nightmarish
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Shadow Of The Tomb Raider's next DLC has been dated and it looks like this Tomb Raider addition will go a bit darker than expected The fourth DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been announced and dated here and it is called The Nightmare. A very ominous sounding bit of DLC for Eidos-Montréal to pump out there, but still very fitting with the franchise. At least as I see it. It could be a lot different when we actually get to play it next week on January 22nd, but for now, we will go with what we know. Read More...

The Obligatory 2018 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2018 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here’s a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

Close To The Sun Has A New Publisher & Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Close To The Sun A new publisher is here for Close To The Sun as we head into 2019 and also get some new gameplay for Close To The Sun too boot We have not had too many updates for Close To The Sun here on the site, but it is high time that we did. Especially since we are all clamoring for some gameplay and to find out just when the game is going to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Something that should be a little sooner and easier to do as Storm In A Teacup is now all partnered up with Wired Productions to do just that for Close To The Sun. A happy day indeed for those looking to see if the Unreal Grant was going to be enough or if they were going to be able to focus on making the game we have been looking for since its announcement. It is not too much in terms of the latest version of the franchise that HumaNature Studios is still working on, but it is just a bit more to keep us going. Review — Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero We sit down and review Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden. A tactical game that is a little XCOM with a little Fallout. Here is our review of Mutant Year Zero It seems like it has been a good long while since we have had a tactical RPG in the mix and Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is here to try to scratch that itch. If the name sounds familiar, besides following all the video game news, then you would be right as this is also The Bearded Ladies’ crack at bringing an old Swedish tabletop game to life. At least to life in terms of video games. Read More...

Go Back In Time With New Gameplay For Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Ancestors A plethora of new gameplay is here for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey so you can see just how the game has evolved to the Ancestors we have now Finally we have some of the first real gameplay to look at here for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey all fresh from The Game Awards. Sure, we have had some nice little teases from Panache Digital Games in the past with some screenshots, but that is not true gameplay. Given that this is a huge deviation of gameplay style for the creative director of some Assassin’s Creed, there is a lot riding on Ancestors before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In terms of reputation more than anything as this is a deviation from what we know. Read More...

Farrow Has Snuck Into Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of November 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero A new mutant has joined Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden as Farror shows off her skills and how she will be needed to make it through the Zone of Mutant Year Zero It definitely looks like The Bearded Ladies have been playing a few things close to the chest for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden as we have only seen a few of the characters we will have to control in the game when it launches next week. In fact, we have only had the same three playable characters shown off since it was first announced and in everything that Funcom has put out there to date. Given that this version of Mutant Year Zero will house characters only made by the dev team, it would make sense to see our options leading up to launch. Read More...
