Rumor Has It We Could See Assassin’s Creed Empire Before The End Of 2017
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A retail listing for Assassin’s Creed Empire has many thinking that we could see the next Assassin’s Creed title before the end of this year The rumor mill is back at it again and here we are with more Assassin’s Creed Empire rumors and speculation of sorts. That would be the assumed titled from all of the other leaked information for the next title in the franchise that Ubisoft has yet to confirm. None the less we are here because it looks like that time to confirm things is dwindling down as a Swiss retailer is already showing Assassin’s Creed Empire as having a release before the end of 2017. The fourth quarter of 2017 to be exact and seeing how the site is still listing it as of this article, it may be something to take a look at for now. Read More...

Review — Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Styx We sit down and review Styx: Shards Of Darkness. The goblin is back and there is even more to steal & kill. Here's our review of Styx: Shards Of Darkness Styx is finally back and doing what he does best in Styx: Shards Of Darkness; stealing and killing. It's been a long wait since he was the Master Of Shadows and brought his fun to the screen but Cyanide Studios didn't want the little guy falling into the darkness of obscurity and brought us yet another experience through the eyes of the thieving goblin. Hopefully learning from any mistakes and adding in just enough new items to make the game feel the same but enough to warrant the extra funds that Focus Home Interactive doled out for the game. None the less, here's our review on Styx: Shards Of Darkness and just how the game did in our eyes. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/6/17 — 3/10/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 11th of March 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more grueling week of video games in the bag here and it was yet another one filled with all kinds of fun. We had some of the aftermath of GDC to still filter through here as well as the start of PAX East and soon SXSW. Those are just the conventions for all these video games at that as we also saw a whole lot for Injustice 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda flow out here this week. Also we have official word on when Outlast 2 and Styx: Shards Of Darkness will finally be hitting our homes. Read More...

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Cast Is Here With Gameplay Coming Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of March 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy New screenshots for Guardians Of The Galaxy have been placed out there with word on when we'll see Guardians Of The Galaxy in action before launch We've all been waiting for something to come out officially for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy title that Telltale Games is working on but since its originally announcement back in December all we've had have been rumors and speculation. Things like the "leak" that we may see the first episode at least before the end of April, the 25th is still the date in rumor, as well as very little on what the game's story will actually revolve around. Given that Marvel has made it clear that their video games don't need to follow the Film and TV franchise continuity if they don't want to, this version of the Guardians Of The Galaxy is rather up in the air and still fraught with mystery. Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Has Its First Bit Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of March 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The first bit of gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is finally here and now we can see how Shadow Of War has progressed from its predecessor Just as promised last week, here we go with some solid new gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Not only does it show off some amazing combat but it looks like Monolith Productions has gone out of their way to vastly improve the Nemesis mechanic in the game as it could very well leap over to many other aspects and characters in the game. Mix that in with some cinematic and over-the-top looking battles, Shadow Of War looks just like where the game needed to head toward and so far so good. Especially since it looks like things can go well or south real fast depending on how you deal with the aftermath of taking down an enemy stronghold. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of March 2017 - 08:00 PM ]

That's not exactly why we are here though as not only is Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive bringing the game to us but they are also bringing in the ability to play the game with a friend. Not the friend that we've seen already for Styx in terms of his clone but we are getting Co-Op game play in Shards Of Darkness. As if setting up all of our kills solo wasn't going to be fun enough but now we can do it with any of our friends who also enjoy slaying with this little goblin. Read More...

See How A Goblin Is Made Here For Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. This is why we have a new developer diary of sorts to show off Styx in his new light as well as to get to know his personality a bit more and just to enjoy another great IP that is coming out of Focus Home Interactive.
