Lady Hellbender Is Here To Meet Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of August 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Guardians A new gameplay segment for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is here to show off how and whom the Guardians are trying to con After the first mission trailer for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy popped up out there, I know I was curious to see how things could play out and expand down the line. For those that do not remember, this was the bit of the trailer to showed off the dialog options and how the game could shift based on our choices. Now, we get to see what Eidos-Montréal has in line for the Guardians after that choice and if we opted to put Groot in the big box to hand over to the collector we are dealing with. Read More...

Fatal Frame: Maiden Of The Black Water Will Be Snapping Us Back In October
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of July 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Fatal Frame The release date for Fatal Frame: Maiden In Black Water is set down in October now and we can gear up to take on the spirits in Fatal Frame once more It looks as if our assumptions paid off and now we know we will be seeing Fatal Frame: Maiden Of The Black Water launching again on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC in October. To be specific, October 28th will be when we can expect to see this one out there and aim to take more pictures of the restless dead with our super camera. That is a way over-simplification for the idea of the gameplay for Fatal Frame but does cover the basics for those completely new to the IP and looking to have a good horror game for the Halloween season. Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Is Delayed Until September Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of July 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Kena A new delay has hit Kena: Bridge Of Spirits that will push Kena out another month and into September now The wait is going to have to continue for Kena: Bridge Of Spirits, as there is now a delay of the game announced here. August 24th will no longer be the day to look at for the launch on the PS4, PS5, and PC but now we are looking at September 21st for the release. This is something that Ember Lab is sad about, but should make Kena a better game for all of us to experience and enjoy. Also, it is only a single month and not a year of delays, so we have that little bonus to take in and be happy about too. Read More...

Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous Is Changing Things Up For The Visuals
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Pathfinder New changes are coming to Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous to further the game beyond Pathfinder: Kingmaker had before for us It should not be that big of a surprise to hear that Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is aiming to build upon the best part of the previous title that Owlcat Games put out there before. It is how we can keep things in the industry flowing and make sure that we are not just getting the same games over and over. That and a way to let some of the teams out there shine a bit more with the technology that is being used for it all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/12/21 — 7/16/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of July 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Finally, we are back to having an average week of things with all of these video games and their announcements. Not that we do not enjoy being bombarded with news and updates, it is hard to appreciate them all and see smaller titles like MADiSON and Chernobylite have a chance to shine. It also gave us that well-needed time to get those reviews for Ragnaröck and Minute Of Islands out to you. Both are vastly different video games, indeed, and worth some time to check them out on the site to see if they will be your jam. Read More...

Review — Minute Of Islands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Minute Of Islands We sit down and review Minute Of Islands. A new platformer with a dark story to tell. Here is our review of Minute Of Islands It has been a whirlwind of events and things here recently and one of those things that fell through the cracks for some was the launch of Minute Of Islands. This is that latest title to come out of Studio Fizbin and Mixtvision for all the consoles and PC out there. Minute Of Islands had the timing to launch during some rough times for making sure it did not fall into obscurity out there, but that does not mean we did not take notice. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next update for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is almost here & we can get hyped for where this Call Of Duty will take us The next update is almost here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and this one will have the dark æther expanding into Mauer Der Toten. That is, new portals will be opening up in the world and we will have more of the undead forces rushing us all once again. That also means that Treyarch is ready to give us that next update for Call Of Duty to expand the story more and keep us engaged just a bit longer with the game. It is a trickle-down thing, but that does mean we will have more to see and shoot in the game soon. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of July 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Clash Get ready to clash a bit more with the latest title announced out there with Clash: Artifacts Of Chaos Start training now, as it looks like 2022 will offer us up another brawling style of game with the recent reveal for Clash: Artifacts Of Chaos. This would be a new title coming out of NACON and ACE Team during their big event and is poised to slam the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC when it does land. Something we will have to do in the mix of all of the chaos here, with the game aiming to take the brawler style in a bit of a twist. There Will Be Some New Views With The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Gollum The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum has a little more to see with some hype around how Gollum will encounter things we have never seen before The tease we had last week for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum has finally paid off and we have a little more to look at for the game. We still have to wait until 2022 to get to play it, sure, but that does not mean that Daedalic Entertainment did not give us some things to take in to get hyped about. We have seen things that have shown it off to be a solid stealth game in this universe, which is further driven home here, but there is also talk about some parkour mixed in to it all as well. I have a feeling that is a way to describe how Gollum will be moving about the world and staying out of sight of the Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and that pesky Wizard out there. Read More...

Kingdom Of The Dead Will Take Us Back Into A Different Era Of FPS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Kingdom Of The Dead A new retro FPS, Kingdom Of The Dead, is coming and it looks like Kingdom Of The Dead will play with some lights to give us some old fun There is certainly a run on "retro" style video games as of late as we add another to the list with Kingdom Of The Dead. Retro in the way that the teams are opting to go with the lower-end visuals and styles to bring us a new game and then hopefully focus on the gameplay mechanics a bit more. That is the hope once again with this new title as we have from Dirigo Games that looks the part. From the gameplay here for Kingdom Of The Dead, it also looks like it could walk the walk when it does launch on the PC in 2022. Read More...

The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Teases The Elves Before A Larger Showing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Gollum Gollum is here just before Nacon Connect to tease us with something new for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum It has been a bit since we had anything of substance for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum and… we are still going to have to wait a bit more. There has been a promise that we will get something more from Daedalic Entertainment on July 6th during the Nacon Connect event. That does not mean that we do not have something small to take in and tease us all a bit more. Even if it does not show off Gollum in any of the footage we have here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of July 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Tsushima Ghost Of Tsushima will be getting its full upgrade with the recently announced Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut It is all the rage to have a Director's Cut of something in today's market and now we are going to be seeing a version of that for Ghost Of Tsushima over on the PS5 and PS4 now. This is a new version of the game that will be offering up all of those bells and whistles we have expected from Sucker Punch to bring to the new console, but will also be coming to the last-gen system too. Well, at least the parts that will work on the PS4 as I do not think we will see the adaptive triggers and the like for that version of Ghost Of Tsushima there. Read More...
