The Dragons Are Here For Game Of Thrones — The Sword In The Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new promo banner for Game Of Thrones — The Sword In The Darkness, episode three, shows that we may be seeing more Daenerys Targaryen in the game Here we are just over a month from the last episode of Telltale's Game Of Thrones and it looks like we may be getting the third in short order here. At least that would be the normal speculation as a promo banner for the third episode of Telltale's take on the franchise has cropped up. What is interesting here of course is that it proudly displays one of the great fire-breathing worms that everyone jokes about never coming. Well if speculation is true then it looks like we may be getting more of the dragons and their mother in the coming episode of Game Of Thrones. Read More...

PlayStation and From Software have announced that Bloodborne has gone gold and also have given us a new trailer to go along with that If you were worried for some reason that Bloodborne was going to be delayed then you can worry no longer. Bloodborne has gone gold and disks are being printed as you read this. To go along with this, From Software has also put together a nice little trailer to show off Bloodborne for all and what we can look to expect that we haven't seen already. I guess it is just more to try and get us to buy the game that should also help show the power of the PS4 a bit more. Read More...

Atlas Is Getting Mugged In Episode 2 Of Tales From The Borderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The second episode for Tales From The Borderlands has a release date and a new trailer showing off some of the action we can all look forward to It's been some time since we had the last episode of Tales From The Borderlands hit our gaming machines. I guess it would be the first episode and there has been almost a 5 month gap in between which sadly looks like it is placing Tales From The Borderlands on the same level as releases for The Wolf Among Us. Maybe I am being a bit harsh here but this is one of my favorite titles from Telltale as of late and didn't want to have to wait until March 17th for the second episode. Yes, that is the date that we will be getting the second episode for the game. Read More...

An info dump for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun has brought us over 30 minutes of gameplay and footage for the game that was scrapped back in 2012 by Square Enix There is nothing like the sting of losing a title like Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun. Except for the sting of seeing how great the game was shaping up before Square Enix pulled the plug on it and moved portions over to another title that is on the verge of release. That's right. We have some gameplay footage for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun from a forum member over at NeoGaf as well as a whole slew of screens and information about the game that looks like it will never be. Time For Bloodborne's Story To Get A Little Unfolded…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
The official story trailer for Bloodborne is out for all to watch and try to figure out what is going on in the world that Bloodborne is set in The first 18 minutes have already been spoiled for Bloodborne so we all may think we know a bit of the story and how the game will play out. At least in the story aspect of things. You know, how the game starts with us arriving in Yharnam, receiving a blood transfusion from a strange doctor, and ends up clouding our memory. All the fun we could expect for Bloodborne on the PS4. Read More...

ScreamRide Is Coming & We'll Be Able To Scare Riders Sooner
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
ScreamRide has a new launcher trailer and a bit of information on the Demo that is available today for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 ScreamRide had to be one of the more bizarre titles I saw at E3 during the Microsoft Conference. This would be the title from Frontier Developments where we will get to make some insane roller coaster or amusement rides all in the vein of generating screams. More or less a torture simulator when you split hairs only that the NPCs involved in the game don't seem to get injured and love being placed in life-threatening situations. Most people wouldn't find ScreamRide fun, I would think, if there were truly being injured. Read More...

New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Screenshots Have Risen From The Snow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A fresh batch of screenshots for Rise Of The Tomb Raider have been released and ready to be ripped apart by all of us waiting for the next title in the franchise Last week we had a nice look at the new environment design for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Crystal Dynamics will be taking us on a lovely romp through Russia in the next game so we know it is going to be filled with all kinds of snow and dangerous locations for Lara to get into trouble. Sadly then that was really all we had to go with outside of a few little clips from videos past. That is no more as now we have some fresh Rise Of The Tomb Raider screenshots to look at that includes all of those harsh, cold environments as well as what looks like a nice warm desert scene. Darksiders 2 & Other Nordic Games Titles May Be Going Next Gen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
New listings on Amazon show a Darksiders 2 Definitive edition as well as a few other Nordic Games titles coming to the PS4 and Xbox One I'd start by saying that the Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One was a rumor except that as of this time Amazon Still has the page live for pre-order from Nordic Games. So pretty much we can expect to see Death gracing our next gen systems sometime this year after being remastered by Nordic Games. Some may scoff at the idea of another "remaster" title coming out instead of a brand new IP but Darksiders 2 was a title that I personally think everyone should play and very few did so on the PS3 and Xbox 360 so here is a chance to remedy that gamers. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
There is a new look at Rise Of The Tomb Raider and the new environments and effects that we will get to experience on the Xbox One Here we go with a few more updates for Rise Of The Tomb Raider coming from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. It still pains me that I can't list any other platforms at this time but what are we going to do right? Well we'll just keep on keeping on and have a look at what is new in the way of environments and the world for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. That is totally what we are going to do. Read More...

Have A Good Look At Bloodborne's Gorgeous, Gothic Environments
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
A new look at Bloodborne's environments has been showcased and it really highlights the creepy, gothic setting Bloodborne will have If there has been one thing that has impressed me for Bloodborne it has to be the setting and environment for the game. I am a sucker for creepy, Gothic settings and there is no doubt that From Software is bringing the 'A' game for Bloodborne in that aspect. Even when I have had shoddy hands-on experiences with the game this has been one thing that has kept me wandering around and searching every nook and cranny of the levels so I can get the full appreciation for Bloodborne. If you have yet to experience anything for Bloodborne outside of the previous trailers and gameplay videos then rest assured that just below we have a nice showcasing for all of the environments and world I've been gabbing on about. Rumor Mill: Legend Of Zelda May Be Getting A Live Action Show
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
New rumors out there is a Legend Of Zelda live action show is being developed by Netflix from the Wall Street Journal It's only been seven years since we had that IGN April Fool's joke about there being a live action Legend Of Zelda film in the works so it is about time we get that all spinning up again right? Of course it is. Only this time it isn't April Fool's Day and this doesn't look like some elaborate hoax to generate web traffic to the IGN website. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/2/15 — 2/6/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 7th of February 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Well that was a fun and stressful week for video games and for us. It may look like we favored the same small group of games all week but in all honesty Mortal Kombat X, Game Of Thrones, and Dying Light just had so much to cover. Hells we even had three reviews this week and two of them were in that short list you just read. Nothing like being able to keep us all up to date on titles that are currently out there hoping to win over the collective and ever black hearts of us gamers huh? Read More...
