Overwatch During Blizzcon it has been announced that Overwatch is hitting the consoles and it is getting an Overwatch: Origins Edition to do so As was to be expected it looks like Overwatch is getting a collector's edition of sorts and in this we have a solid confirmation that it is also heading to the PS4 and Xbox One platforms In addition to the already known PC version. Well more of a special edition and then a collector's edition if we want to be more succinct about this here for Overwatch. Both of which will be bringing a whole slew of goodies not only for Overwatch but pretty much every other major IP that Blizzard currently has up and running. Read More...

Another Horror Title In Space As Syndrome Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of September 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Syndrome A new horror title named Syndrome has been announced and it looks like it is taking pages from all kinds of horror video games out there Horror fans you can add another title into the list as it looks like Syndrome has been announced and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux platforms in Q2 of 2016. No this is not a horror title about what would happen if the villain from The Incredibles won the day but a sci-fi horror title being made by Camel 101 and Bigmoon Entertainment. Syndrome may not need that definition after you see how it is slated to bring the classic horror genre back into video games. Read More...

The Merc' With The Mouth, Deadpool, Is Hitting Next Gen Systems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been announced that Deadpool will be making the leap from the PS3 and 360 to the PS4 and Xbox One this November bringing all of the Deadpool goodness with him Talk about a "remaster" of sorts coming out of nowhere as Deadpool is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One almost two years after it hit the PS3 and Xbox 360. This would be the High Moon Studios game that came out in 2013 that also had a lot of mixed reviews based on the titular character Deadpool. I am sure that Activision isn't doing this because of the most likely success of the Marvel franchise recently and the new film on the way. Read More...

Then there is all the new stuff we had for Mad Max and all the multiplayer beta stuff for Black Ops 3. Oh and let us not discount the fact that the PlayStation Experience is coming back this year even though it is heading off to another city. Read More...

Get The BFG Ready As We Have A New DOOM Gameplay Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released out there and it shows off some good old fashions demon killing…and the BFG Sometimes in the hullabaloo of things stuff gets lost in the cracks as was the case here with the most recent DOOM trailer that was released. There have been so many new things going on due to Gamescom and a plethora of title releases that this new DOOM trailer was also missed by us here as well. We are sorry for that id Software and now we are going to make up for that. Granted it will only be in the way of showing off the new DOOM trailer to all but at least it is something. Read More...

This Is How Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Is A British Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer diary of sorts for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture has been released and details out how Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is a very British Apocalypse Well Everybody's Gone To The Rapture hits the PS4 in a few weeks on August 11th. We've seen some good things for it up until now and it looks like The Chinese Room has created an amazing experience in storytelling with the game. I have yet to play any part of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture but I have seen so many little videos and explanations that I feel that I get what the game is going for and what we all will most likely experience; even if Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is not an apocalypse story that was designed for someone with my background. That background being not having grown up in a rural town in the British Isles. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
News about the DOOM multiplayer beta and alpha have come out of QuakeCon 2015 as well as a few new looks at the gameplay for DOOM It would make sense that out of QuakeCon we would get some new information for DOOM wouldn't it? It is one of the larger showcasing of Bethesda's titles and we all know DOOM is going to try and make a huge splash when it finally launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hells, DOOM helped do wonders to get the pre-orders for Wolfenstein: The New Order to spike among those who were not willing to take a chance. This was of course to the fact that id Software was offering beta access to the DOOM multiplayer with the pre-order and TNO turned out to be an amazing game. Read More...

Three More Heroes For Overwatch Emerge To Dazzle Our Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We have more gameplay for Overwatch to show off three more characters as well as a bit of a wrap up on the core gameplay for Overwatch Here we go with even more gameplay and characters for Overwatch here to gawk at. Not only is it more gameplay for the game but it is also a good look at the 'non-female-stereotype' female-stereotype character that everyone praised Blizzard for when she was first announced. I am talking about Zarya the heavy Russian combatant that pretty much looks and plays like every other heavy Russian stereotypical female character in video games. But hey, Overwatch is made by a studio with such a following that no one will care about that and just spin it up on the PC to enjoy for decades as it is another new IP of theirs in the end. Review — Hatred
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hatred. Is It Worth Your Time or was it all PR hype to grab your attention with the hyper-violence? Here's Our Review of Hatred If there has been one title recently that has made a huge splash in a short amount of time it was Hatred. This is the twin-stick shooter title from Destructive Creations that was denied on Steam and then allowed back after much outcry. Mainly all of the negative press being aimed toward the ultra-violence that is portrayed in this AO title only on PC that has garnered its claim to fame but we had a chance to give it a good solid play through and we have our own thoughts on Hatred. Without gilding the lily any longer or pissing off the game's protagonist much more, here is our review for Hatred. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Blood Bowl 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Blood Bowl 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It E3 isn't always about the biggest and best AAA titles but also little gems like Blood Bowl 2. This would be the fantasy, strategy title from Cyanide Studios and Focus Home all set around an epic football game where there are little to no rules that need to be abided by. At least when it comes to the safety of the players on the field. Fans of the franchise should already be well aware of all of that for Blood Bowl 2 but none the less I was able to get my hands on it at the show well before the September release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. Watch Bethesda Softworks' 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2015 - 02:00 AM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Bethesda Softworks Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below It is that time. Time to kick off E3 with the first official press conference of the event for Bethesda Softworks and their game studios. They have already let the cat out of the bag on a few items to see like Fallout 4, DOOM, and the recently slipped Dishonored 2. That last one doesn't feel like it was something we weren't going to be seeing anytime soon from Bethesda but it apparently slipped out during rehearsals from this press conference. I am sure that we will also see something for BattleCry as well even though Bethesda hasn't said anything directly about it but as it was a big feature last year it only makes sense. Read More...

Two More Heavy Armored Characters For Overwatch Shown Off For You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Two of Overwatch's armored badasses are shown off this week with a lot more Overwatch gameplay in the mix as well Being that it is the calm before the storm of E3 I guess it is nice that we have two more characters to look at for Overwatch here. Not only that but I think Blizzard planned well as it is both of the tank looking characters for the game as most of us are going to need to be as beefy as Pharah and Reinhardt look in Overwatch while traversing the show floor for E3. All joking aside there though let us get back to the fact that we have loads more gameplay here to look at and pick through for Overwatch. While it is all "alpha" gameplay I have a feeling that we are going to be getting that beta for the game here in short order after all of the characters are shown off in their glory. Read More...
