This Week In Video Games 8/19/19 — 8/23/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of August 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The news for all of our video games just keeps flowing out there. More so as we have all of the info flowing out from Gamescom in the mix of things too. Not the biggest of shocks as we had so much promised for Cyberpunk 2077, Marvel’s Avengers, and Bloodlines 2 before the event even started. Even more to come for all of the video games after the show too as things have been held back in wait for Borderlands 3 and Blair Witch too and that is only slowly getting out there now. It is just another great week for it all. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Offers Up More To Bite Into
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of August 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 A longer gameplay demo for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here to show off how missions will flow and the various options available in Bloodlines 2 Now that we had a nice look at the visuals for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 earlier in the week, it is time to see just how all of that will function in practice. A bit more than we have seen from Hardsuit Labs in the past at that, as we have almost a half-hour of gameplay to take in and enjoy. Most of which looks like it is the longer version of the bits we have seen already for Bloodlines 2 and what was shown off at previous events, but it is for the public now and we can all enjoy. Such a turnaround here for Bloober Team and more of us will get a chance to experience how this franchise will carry on in lore and now video games. Also just how the team is going to try to recapture some of the insanity we will be experiencing in the game to go right along with what we know from the Blair Witch films. Oh, The Vivid Details Of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of August 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 A new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 out of Gamescom is here to show how amazing Bloodlines 2 can look Here we go with just a bit more for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 fresh out of Gamescom. I do mean a bit, but it is a nice little look at just how the game could look at its best from Hardsuit Labs. Of course, this also is all about those who will be running on a system that can use the GeForce RTX technology to help run their version of Bloodlines 2. This looks to be more for the PC gamers out there more than for those looking to pick the game up on the PS4 and Xbox One. Read More...

John Wick Hex Is Diving Deeper Into Gun Fu Than We Imagined
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
John Wick A new developer look at John Wick Hex shows off more of the game's Gun Fu mechanics that has made John Wick such a fun franchise to date We all want more for John Wick Hex and now we have just that with a new look behind the scenes of how Bithell Games is going to work in all of the fun Gun Fu moves we have grown to love. I mean, that is one of the staples from the franchise and it would be odd if it did not truly show up in the game. This is why it is good that Good Shepherd Entertainment has brought us all a new look at John Wick Hex and how there will be more than just flashy animations once we start shooting and moving in the game. Blair Witch More gameplay for Blair Witch is here to highlight how Bullet, the dog, will be instrumental to use in Blair Witch We just had a nice new look at Blair Witch last week with more information on Bullet the dog from the game. Last time we saw that Bloober Team is going to make things flow a bit through a system of keeping Bullet friendly. Not much else was shown beside some head scratches and barking in that gameplay. Now we have a new look at the various commands we will be able to issue to Bullet in Blair Witch and how much more useful he will besides keeping your own personal stress and fear down. Read More...

New Blair Witch Gameplay Shows How The Dog Will Play In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Blair Witch More gameplay for Blair Witch is here to show more of the horror and just how the dog will affect the world of the Blair Witch Here we go deeper into the woods of the Blair Witch, as new gameplay footage is out there before the August 30th release date. Not that surprising that we would be getting it at this point and I will not scoff at what Bloober Team is willing to share. Especially given how their past titles would work extremely well for the franchise here. You can see that very well when looking at this new footage for Blair Witch. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein Wolfenstein: Youngblood is about to launch so that means we have a new trailer to take in just days before getting back into the Wolfenstein seat In just a few days the terror twins will be at it in Wolfenstein: Youngblood to cause all of the havoc their bloodline is known for when it comes to the Nazis. It is odd to think that July 26th is almost here and that Machine Games has been hammering it all home so well. At least based on what has been seen thus far. Read More...

Walk Through More Of The Gameplay For Moons Of Madness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Moons Of Madness A new edit of the Moons Of Madness gameplay from E3 is here to show off more of the horror Moons Of Madness has in the wings for us Right after E3 we had a good look at some of the gameplay that was out there for Moons Of Madness and the horrors it could contain. It may have been a good look for some of you out there, but there was some commentary from Rock Pocket Games that played over the dialog and sound in that video. Some of you may have been pulled out of the immersion of Moons Of Madness due to this. For those who felt that way, we have another cut of the gameplay from the floor to place you back in the horror of the game and possibly dying on Mars due to some cosmic horrors. Read More...

To that extent, if you are one of those PC gamers out there wondering when KeokeN Interactive was going to hook you up with the ending you have been waiting for to the story, you will be getting that at the same time. Night Call The release date of Night Call on the PC and Xbox Game Pass is set down with Night Call hitting both of those in mid-July You may have seen it at E3 in 2018 or during the Xbox Briefing at E3 2019, but now it looks like we have a release date for Night Call to look at in the mix. That is, if you were aiming to play the game on the PC or Xbox One as we have a release date for those platforms with it coming to the PS4 and Switch at a later point in 2019. If you do not fall in the latter category there, you can now look to see Night Call hit the PC via Steam and Xbox One via the Game Pass on July 17th. E3 Hands-On — Moons Of Madness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Moons Of Madness While at E3, I was able to see Moons Of Madness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Moons Of Madness. We are definitely in an era where the cosmic horror game and story is all the rage and we have another to add to the list out of E3 with Moons Of Madness. Sure, Rock Pocket Games did not announce the game during the event, that took place a lot earlier, but they were out there with Funcom to show off where the game was at as we get ever so closer to the October 31st release date for the game. Just the perfect time for the setting of Moons Of Madness and for all of those who get scared easily to stream to the world on their PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf While at E3, I was able to see Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. It definitely looks like the World Of Darkness is having a great time with video games as of late as we have had so many shown off and updated on and also why I am here for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. This would be another of the IPs out there in the works, but one that we have known Cyanide Studio has been working on for a while now. So long that it has moved over to a different publisher, Bigben Interactive, but now is back with something more than basic concepts to show off. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein A bit more for Wolfenstein: Youngblood is here fresh from E3 to show off more of this Wolfenstein and the “Terror Twins” of the game It is time to have even more explosions and action for Wolfenstein: Youngblood as we had a whole lot of new footage come out of E3 this year. Some of it during the big event that Bethesda put on and some of it out of the small showing Machine Games had for it on the show floor. No matter where you are with your updates for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, we have you covered here as we have the latest to show off for the game just before launch on July 26th on the PC, Switch, Xbox One, and PS4.
