This Week In Video Games 5/23/16 — 5/27/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games in the bag and now we get to move on to the next. This should have been a slower week given the proximity of E3 now but there was plenty rolling out to get us all prepped for the event. We had a few sneak peeks of sorts with Vampyr and Umbrella Corps here as well as the announcement of a new title Absolver to see. Then of course we were able to get the nice big review for Homefront: The Revolution out there for you after waiting for the updates to fix some of the major issues with the game. Read More...

The Mechanical Apartheid Of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Has Begun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Deus Ex A new live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been released and perfectly shows off how the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution has changed the world August 23rd is still a bit out for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided so it is a bit acceptable that we are not getting loads of gameplay video and/or features revealed to us. I have a feeling that will come at E3 where Square Enix already has plans to show things off. Instead we get things like this live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that aims to show us what the world has become after the events of Eidos-Montreal's previous addition into the franchise. Two More Maps Have Been Added To Umbrella Corps' Arsenal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Umbrella Corps Two more iconic maps have been added to Umbrella Corps and we have a look at a whole lot of bonuses available for Umbrella Corps pre-orders Add two more maps to the list of Umbrella Corps maps that we will get to blast our way through on June 21st. It looks like Capcom has brought back both Raccoon City and the RCP building for us to hunt down and kill each other in when the game launches on the PS4 and PC. As if these two locations would be left out of Umbrella Corps in the first place. Thankfully now we get to see both of them in motion for the first time as we let the anticipation for the game kill us like the zombie hordes will do in the game itself. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/16/16 — 5/20/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games One more week in video games in the bag and many more to go. Although I have a feeling we are going to be on the lighter side of the news here soon as E3 is rolling in and there will be way more rumors that we can shake a stick at. All that aside though, this one has been fun with all kinds of updates on Final Fantasy XV and Dishonored 2. Not to mention our latest reviews here for Hitman and The Magic Circle. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Technomancer A new trailer for The Technomancer has been revealed that shows off the various companions you will have in The Technomancer to help you tame the wastes of Mars As it looks, you won't be completely alone when you tackle the world of The Technomancer. We knew there were going to be NPCs and other characters to populate the world that Spiders has crafted for us and even that some would be helpful. Now we get to see just how helpful as we have a trailer for The Technomancer devoted completely to just that; the companions. Not a moment too soon either as the wait until June 28th is almost over. Styx: Shards Of Darkness Adds A Mess Of New Enemies To Hunt Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Styx New screenshots for Styx: Shards Of Darkness have been released and they showcase some of the new dangerous enemies Styx will have to take on or avoid in the game I was pretty sure we were going to have to wait until E3 to get more on Styx: Shards Of Darkness but it looks like we don't have to. Of course that is where the bulk of what Cyanide Studios has to offer us will be shown but at least for now it looks like we are getting a small update. In this case it is a few new screenshots for the game as well as some descriptions of the horrible monsters and enemy factions that Styx will have to kill or avoid along the way to his next big score. This Week In Video Games 5/9/16 — 5/13/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a slower week in video games but we made it through. Of course I chalk all of this up to it being Friday the 13th week as well as it being filled with a whole lot of game releases. But of course we also did get a lot of Mafia 3 news out there as well as some Hellblade and of course it wouldn't have been a solid week in video games without the Friday The 13: The Game updates. You know it had to have some solid stuff this week and of course it did. I have a feeling that next week may just about the same in the lighter side of news of video games. Read More...

Call Of Cthulhu Takes Us On A Trip To Darkwater Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu A few new screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released as well as a great overview of what Call Of Cthulhu's story is going to be all about It looks like some new Call Of Cthulhu tidbits have crawled out of the abyss here and is ready to show us just a bit more on what the game will be all about. Updates have been very sparse since Cyanide Studios took over for the title and it looks like it is going to stay that way for just a bit longer. Unless Focus Home Interactive has some huge plans out there to shock and awe. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead Island The first trailer for Dead Island Retro Revenge has been released and shows us that little extra we'll be getting in the Dead Island Definitive Collection If Dead Island Retro Revenge doesn't sound overly familiar then you may not have been paying attention to the latest Definite Collection that has been announced. That would be one for the titular franchise that Deep Silver is having all polished up for us and releasing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31st. You know, the Dead Island Definitive Collection and all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/2/16 — 5/6/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Such an amazing week in video games this one has been. We started off with the announcement of a new Call Of Duty title and then ended with the announcement of Battlefield 1. All with a bit of Dishonored 2 mixed in and the start of the mad rush to get all of these reviews out to you all. We need an extra 30 hours to get to all the video games this week and even then I don't think we would have enough time. We are not even in any kind of convention season so we can only imagine how crazy all of that will be. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]

Here's our review on how they did Here we go as The Walking Dead: Michonne has come to an end and the story arc of one of the fan favorite characters has been fleshed out even more. Telltale Games set out to tell us a great story and fill in a rather sizable gap in the character's story from the comic books. Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Order Up. This Is The Fifth Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did Normally this would be the final end-cap on the season for Minecraft: Story Mode but as it turns out we still have three more episodes to go before season one officially ends. Yes, Telltale Games is taking this whole story into an eight part thing instead of the traditional five. I guess there is a lot to tell for Mojang's title that has never had a story before.
