With the beta testing of this game-on-demand service launching not too long ago, it seems that OnLive has picked up even more steam and, perhaps, more ammunition against naysayers. Investors have gathered around the service and now include: AT&T Media Holdings, Lauder Partners and Maverick Capitol. Dead Space: Extraction comes out this week on the Wii. This Tuesday to be exact. On a system that the core game was never on, only rumored about being on. Nier,or Nier Gestalt as it goes by these days, is one of those titles that I really feel could go either way. It could be a really compelling experience with a narrative that draws you in with some really deep action elements, or it could be a largely forgettable title with little to allow it to stand out among other similar entries in the genre. Runic Games and their publishing partner, Perfect World Entertainment, released a trailer this week demonstrating the power and grace of the third and final class, The Vanquisher. For those of you that have followed Aggrogamer since E3, we've been big fans of Torchlight and I believe this trailer is a great example of what this title can bring you. On October 27th 2009, Runic Games will be releasing an Action Role Playing Game called Torchlight.  Action RPG huh, so you mean like Diablo? Yes, just like Diablo. It’s not as dark, nor as scary as Diablo, but the feel and the controls of the game would make it Diablo-ish.  But they aren’t stopping there. Runic Games is planning on making the game into a MMO, a FREE to play MMO, but will not be available until sometime in the future. The more I hear and read about Bayonetta, the more I can appreciate the game for what it is - or what it potentially will be. You've heard how the protagonist essentially becomes more and more naked with different attacks, and how her hair transforms into weapons, and how the game contains "Torture Combos", "Witch Time", and "Non-Stop Climax Action". However, what you don't know is that I actually met with Sega for a game similar in both tone and style which I dubbed Thana-Nude the Pistolista. My game, which contained "Hot Sticky Combination Attacks", "Uncomfortable Whimpering Time", as well as "Parent Angering Immoral Fatal Thrust Strikes", focused on Thana-Nude - a 'death fairy ronin' who fell from the sky after the great seperation of the Lost Tombs of Zeebs in the Seventh Ascenion.
