This Week In Video Games 9/16/19 — 9/20/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of September 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games down as we head onward into the oblivion that it is real life. It is why we have these distractions and escapes is it not? Why focus on the real world when we can focus on the various things going on the worlds of Final Fantasy VII and The Surge 2? It makes little sense. Then again, if you do want to stay grounded a bit more we do have video games like Bloodlines 2 and Planet Zoo to keep us somewhere near the real. Read More...

Final Fantasy VII Remake Is Taking Us Back To Basics Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of September 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy In a recap for Final Fantasy VII Remake, it has been explained that the classic Final Fantasy VII combat mode will also be an option If the information dump for Final Fantasy VII Remake was not enough last week with all of the new gameplay, it looks like we have a bit more to take on now. More in a way that will make some of the more die-hard fans of the franchise excited to see Square Enix bringing the game back than just the updated graphics and everything. Like the fact that we are going to be getting a "Classic Mode" when it comes to combat. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/9/19 — 9/13/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of September 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week And thus wraps another long week in video games. It started and now ends with some great ones launching out there. You know, like Borderlands 3 to name drop one for now. That does not detract from all the fun we have seen and heard out of TGS this year for Final Fantasy VII Remake, Project Resistance, and Marvel’s Avengers. To name drop a few more video games that we have to look forward to as to distract from the pains of the real world. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Final Fantasy VII Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy While at E3, I was able to see Final Fantasy VII Remake in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Final Fantasy VII Remake. One of the bigger bits of news out of E3 this year had to come from Final Fantasy VII Remake as we had a release date and a few of the characters shown to us all during Square Enix's big media showcase. We know we can see the game hit the PS4 on March 3rd of next year and also had a chance to see Tifa and Aerith in action. Not to mention the fact that we had a nice chance to see the new battle system they are using for this outing of Final Fantasy VII in a better motion. Read More...

Final Fantasy A new trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake is here and it shows a bit of the updates and gameplay from the original opening mission of Final Fantasy VII It has been so long since we last saw anything for the Final Fantasy VII Remake and we were all treated to a new look at the game during the PlayStation State of Play stream yesterday. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remasters Have One More Trailer To Take In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy A new trailer is here for the Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 remasters to get you excited for their re-release in a week In just over a week the remaster for Final Fantasy X/X-2 will be out there for the Xbox One and Switch. Yet one more of the Square Enix titles that did not show on the platforms the first few times around, but now that we have the technology and exclusivities gone they can. That would, at least, be the thought behind this as the PlayStation fans have been hogging all of the Final Fantasy goodness for a while now. The same can be said for other entries into their other franchises. Read More...

Final Fantasy The Xbox One and Switch will be gaining Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age and the Final Fantasy X X/X-2 HD Remasters this coming April Get ready to live more of the past as it looks like a few more Final Fantasy titles will be making the jump over to the Xbox One and Switch systems now. Ardyn Is Coming Back In Full Force In Final Fantasy XV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of February 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy The release date for the next DLC for Final Fantasy XV is set and we will get to experience things from the point of view of Final Fantasy XV’s villain You may have missed it in the past or just have been occupied by other games as of late, but a new DLC episode for Final Fantasy XV is on the way and now we have a date for it. As a quick recap for those who have forgotten, a full episode for Ardyn, the main villain of the game, was announced to be on its way and play much like the other character-driven DLC we have had in the past. All so we can get more story for it all and put a bit more Gil in the pockets of Square Enix. Read More...

Final Fantasy The next DLC for Final Fantasy XV has a new trailer to see as we head into the second anniversary of Final Fantasy XV’s release It is hard to think that it has been two years since Final Fantasy XV released, but here we are and looking at even more DLC to come to the game in the way of a new episode. Square Enix Is Bringing All Kinds Of Tomb Raider & Kingdom Hearts Fun To SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Square Enix Not to be left out of SDCC, Square Enix is bringing all kinds of games and events to make sure you have been able to experience all Square Enix has to offer Just as the many year's past, Square Enix will be back at SDCC this year and bringing with them all of the games that we have been keeping an eye on and hoping to play sooner rather than later. Sadly, it does not look like they are bringing much in the way of Final Fantasy, but they are truly pushing Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts III just as they did out at E3. Not the biggest of surprises given the proximity to the release dates and SDCC being a huge fan event for Square Enix to get the games in front of more eyes than just through other people's thoughts and opinions. Rinoa Heartilly Joins The Fight In Dissidia Final Fantasy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Another character from Final Fantasy VIII fame will be joining the fight in Dissidia Final Fantasy in the not too distant future Add one more character to the list of fighters in Dissidia Final Fantasy as Rinoa is making the jump in to the fight here soon. There is no word on how soon from Team Ninja, but she is joining in and bringing her own flare of fighting to the arena. You may remember her from Square Enix's eighth installment to the Final Fantasy franchise. Maybe not, depending on how far back you have been playing the franchise up to now as they do seem to be going back and pulling some of the less famous characters in the IP. Read More...
