Sony has announced that it will be hosting a PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas, Nevada early in December 2014 Just in case you needed another reason to head to the playground of America it looks like Sony will be hosting a PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas, NV during the weekend of December 6th this year. Not much is known about this community event that is being hosted by the great people over at PlayStation but do you really need to know more than that to have an excuse to head out this way? A new developer diary for Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris has been released from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix to better explain the game If you are still upset that Rise Of The Tomb Raider will only be hitting one console next year then let's have a good look at Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris as that is supposed to be the alternative set up for PS4 and PC players in the interim. While not exclusive to those platforms, Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris is coming to Xbox One too, it is something for all non-Xbox players to dig into and help fund other versions of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. YouTube users have been showing off some of the combat, environments, and enemies for Bloodborne during the current alpha test of the game The Bloodborne alpha test is underway. With that we can expect to see a whole bunch of new video footage of the game as users trudge through to help From Software perfect Bloodborne for its February 6th 2015 release date. A new developer diary for The Order: 1886 has been released from Ready At Dawn to show off all the cool weapons and gadgets for the game We've seen some the cool guns in action for The Order: 1886 in the past so it is high time that we see how they came to be. I'm not talking about in the real world during the design of The Order: 1886 but also during the core of the game from Nikola Tesla and others. That is just what we have in the following video from Ready At Dawn and it is quite an interesting watch if I do say so myself. I won't go into all the details here as that would defeat the purpose of watching the video below but it looks like most of the gear in The Order: 1886 is based on, closely and loosely, the real world state of affairs at the time. A new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Kaos Doom Challenge and plays like a tower defense Just in case giving us the ability to use and play as the villains in Skylanders Trap Team wasn't enough, it looks like we are getting yet another mode to play the game in. No longer do we have just a fun little platformer game but now we are looking at a "tower defense" of sorts making its way into the game in the form of the Kaos Doom Challenge. There is something about that word and Kaos that I can't just seem to put my finger on…* Anyways, this new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team looks to pit players and all of their Skylanders in a 100 wave of "doom" where enemies will be flooding the arena to take you down. Heavenly Sword has been given the CGI film treatment and we've had a chance to sit down and check it out. Here is our review of Heavenly Sword — The Film When I first heard that there was going to be a Heavenly Sword film I became insanely excited. This is one of my favorite video games to date and just like if there was a God Of War film I would lose my shit and be first in line to check it out. Couldn't Be At Tokyo Game Show 2014 Or The Sony Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below The Tokyo Game Show is still two weeks away but Sony has decided to jump the gun and show off all of the new/current titles that will be on display once the show gets fully up and running on the 18th of this month. Over the weekend there was a new FAQ posted to the official Rise Of The Tomb Raider Tumblr to try and explain what is going on with the platform exclusivity A few weeks back there was a huge stir as to if Rise Of The Tomb Raider was ever going to see the light of day on anything other than the Xbox One or Xbox 360 come the holiday season of 2015. The announcement of everything sure made it sound like it was not in the books at all that we would get to see the Tomb Raider again on the PS3, PS4, or PC. Both PS3 and PS4 versions of The Last Of Us are receiving new multiplayer maps for free Naughty Dog has announced that their post-apocalyptic hit The Last Of Us will be getting two free Multiplayer maps for factions mode. The free maps are to make good for the long wait times for matchmaking and will be free for both PS3 and PS4 versions. Naughty Dog’s website thanks fans for their patience and says that working on the matchmaking is their number one priority. Matchmaking issues has been eased a bit due to live updates and patch 1. In a recent interview Phil Spencer confirmed that the exclusivity deal for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has a time limit During the recent Microsoft press event at Gamescom it was claimed that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was going to be an exclusive for Xbox next year. This of course upset A LOT of gamers out there, like me, who fell in love with how Crystal Dynamics gave the franchise a re-boot. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was the first retail game I purchased for my PS4.
